Chapter 875: Chapter 874: The Charm of the Little Girl (2)

The little girl turned around in surprise, "Daddy."

Damian Sinclair smiled at her and took her hand, "Are you tired from playing?"

"Not tired at all." The little girl shook her head.

Special Assistant Lawson, standing nearby, was startled by this smile from Damian Sinclair.

He’s been by President Sinclair’s side for many years, and this seemed to be the first time he’d seen President Sinclair smile, feeling a bit frightened.

Special Assistant Lawson hurriedly said, "President Sinclair, I’ll get back to work then."

"Go ahead." Damian Sinclair’s smile had already faded, and he nodded slightly.

"Goodbye, Uncle." The little girl waved to Special Assistant Lawson, then followed Damian into the President’s office, saying, "Daddy, the pretty ladies at the company are so nice, they’ve been playing with me the whole time."

"Hmm, no one bullied you, right?" Damian picked up the little girl and placed her on the sofa.

"Nope." The little girl pulled out candies and quite a few chocolates from her pockets, "These were given by the pretty ladies, Daddy, eat." She said while peeling a candy and handing it over.

"Doesn’t your mommy let you eat sweets?" Damian popped the fruit candy into his mouth, asking.

"Yeah, Mommy says it’s bad for teeth, so I only ate one." The little girl nodded, "Daddy, Mommy just called me. She finished filming her show."

Damian frowned as he thought about the paperwork still on the desk, feeling these work tasks weren’t as important as his wife and child.

"Alright, let’s go find Mommy and have dinner together."

"That’s not good." The little girl responded, "Mommy went to see Grandpa, and it seems she’s going to film again." Speaking of Bella Acker filming again, the little girl looked a bit disappointed.

Damian gently swept aside her loose bangs, asking, "Don’t want Mommy to go filming?"

"No." The little girl pinched her fingertips, softly saying, "When Mommy goes to work, I won’t be able to see her for a long time."

Children always want to be by their parents’ side, especially since Talia hasn’t been apart from Bella Acker in recent years. Now that they’ve returned home, when Bella goes out for filming, it’ll be at least two or three months before the little girl sees her, making her miss her mother a lot.

But the girl is sensible, understanding that Mommy works hard to earn money for the family, so she can only hold back her longing, and when she misses her too much, she secretly wipes away her tears without crying or fussing.

Damian felt heartbroken watching this, so he simply picked up the little girl and placed her on his lap, saying, "Then when Mommy goes filming in the future, would you like to stay with Daddy? When Daddy is free, I’ll drive you to see Mommy, or we can visit your great-grandfather, okay?"

"Really?" The little girl instantly became excited.

"Yes." There was also a smile in Damian’s eyes, "After the New Year, once we move to the new house, Daddy will live there too, and we can be together every day."

"Daddy, you’re going to live with us?" The little girl was particularly happy but soon frowned, "Would Mommy agree?"

"Don’t worry, Daddy will handle Mommy."

"Hmm, hmm. Wow, I can wake up and see Daddy every day, I’m so happy." The little girl hugged Damian’s neck and gave him a heavy kiss.

Damian chuckled and pinched her little cheek, "Daddy needs to handle some work now, can you practice the violin for a bit?"

"But I didn’t bring my violin."

"Daddy has one ready for you."

Damian went to the lounge and took out the violin, just about to hand it to the girl when the office door was forced open.

The secretary’s voice came through, "Miss Lynch, you really can’t go in."
