Chapter 876: Chapter 875: My Wife Will Only Be Bella Acker

"Bang!"

The door to the CEO’s office was violently pushed open, and Cecilia Lynch stormed in, but her momentum instantly weakened upon seeing Damian Sinclair.

"President Sinclair, I’m sorry, Miss Lynch insisted on barging in, I couldn’t stop her." The secretary bowed in apology.

"You can go back to your work," Damian said mildly.

"Yes." The secretary discreetly breathed a sigh of relief and retreated to her tasks.

Cecilia looked at Damian, and suddenly tears welled up in her eyes as she asked tremblingly, "Damian, why? Why are you treating me like this?"

"What are you referring to?" Damian looked at her expressionlessly, without a hint of emotion.

Cecilia cried bitterly, "Why did you suggest to my father that our family should marry into the Blaine Family? You know full well that you’ve always been in my heart, so why are you pushing me to the Blaine Family?"

"Miss Lynch, this was your father’s idea; he merely asked if I thought it was a good idea, and I simply replied that it wasn’t bad," Damian said indifferently. "If you have nothing else to discuss, please leave."

"Damian, can’t you see my father was just testing you? Are you really going to be so heartless towards me?" Cecilia cried out, "All these years, haven’t you felt anything for my feelings towards you?"

"Regarding this matter, I made it clear to you a long time ago, and I don’t intend to waste any more words," Damian didn’t even look at Cecilia this time, handing a violin to a little girl.

The little girl pouted at him, clearly unhappy about another woman entangling him.

A faint smile flickered in Damian’s eyes, and he gently pinched her nose tip.

Cecilia looked utterly infuriated.

"Damian, what do I lack compared to Bella Acker? Even if she’s married to someone else and has a child, you still accept her and are even so good to her child. Why?!" Cecilia clutched her chest and cried out hoarsely, "Compared to her, in what way am I inferior?!"

"In what way are you comparable to her?" Damian’s expression turned cold, with a hint of disgust in his eyes, "You’ve schemed at every step, prioritizing your interests, even resorting to selling your body to climb into my bed, and falsely accusing Bella of causing your miscarriage with a made-up pregnancy. If it weren’t for me speaking up, how would your family treat her? I chose not to hold you accountable for the past because you cared for me in the hospital for three years; consider it me returning a favor. But you also know very well whether I truly needed you to take care of me at that time."

His words were so cold and heartless that Cecilia couldn’t believe her ears, and she instinctively stepped back two steps, "Damian, do you really despise me that much?"

"Given that you constantly speak ill of my wife and continuously make trouble for her, should I not despise you?" Damian replied coldly, "In fact, if not for the longstanding ties between the Lynch Family and The Sinclair Family, you wouldn’t even be standing here talking to me now."

"Family ties, family ties again!" Cecilia laughed bitterly, "If not for these family ties, you wouldn’t even look at me, would you?"

"I overlooked the past because of the family ties, but whether I would be interested in you has nothing to do with you being the Lynch Family’s eldest daughter."
