Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife
Chapter 877 - 876: I Don’t Want to Lie to Daddy
Chapter 877: Chapter 876: I Don’t Want to Lie to Daddy
"No matter who you are... no, more accurately, there will be no one else besides Bella Acker who will be Mrs. Damian Sinclair." Damian said coldly, "You can leave now."
Cecilia Lynch’s eyes widened in shock, and after a long pause, she gave a bitter smile, "Damian, do you know? I used to think that you would never be moved by any woman, nor would you change for any woman. I always thought that even if you didn’t like me, I’d still become your wife after the family arranged marriage. I thought that as long as I could marry you, even if I couldn’t become your lover, I could at least become your family, the only woman who could stand by your side. But it wasn’t until Bella Acker appeared that I realized you could actually smile for someone, compromise for someone, even change yourself for that person. These were things I never dared to dream of, yet you truly changed for Bella. Damian, why? Is Bella really that good, worth waiting for all these years and changing so much?"
"Even if she’s full of flaws, so what?" Damian said lightly, "She is my woman, I am willing to indulge her."
He spoke so calmly, yet so domineeringly.
This made Cecilia Lynch insanely jealous of Bella Acker, but what else could she do besides feel jealous?
With Bella Acker protected by Damian, she didn’t dare touch even a single finger of hers, unless she was willing to disregard the fate of The Lynch Family. But if The Lynch Family really fell, what would she have left?
Cecilia Lynch slumped her shoulders in dejection, the intimidating presence she had when she stormed into the office was completely gone.
This decade-long pursuit of love ended in utter defeat for her.
Cecilia Lynch lowered her gaze and said, "The other day I begged Grandpa Sinclair to forgive you, but Bella Acker was also there, and because of some things she said, Grandpa Sinclair kicked me out of the villa directly. The current Bella Acker is not the same as she used to be, don’t continue to see her as the same person, or you won’t know what hit you. This is the last time I’ll show concern for you."
With that, Cecilia Lynch pinched her bag and ran out of the office quickly, still able to hear her suppressed sobs as she dashed through the door.
The young girl looked up at Damian, "Daddy, she’s bad, she said bad things about Mommy even as she was leaving."
"Even you can tell?" Damian smiled, the icy look on his face melted instantly, and he pinched the young girl’s nose, saying, "Don’t mind those irrelevant people."
"Yeah." The young girl nodded, hesitating for a moment before asking, "Daddy, did you know Mommy from a long time ago?"
"Yes. It’s been almost eleven years." Damian said, "Why did you suddenly think of asking this?"
"Have you always liked Mommy, and never liked anyone else?"
"Yes." Damian laughed, "Why is a kid like you so concerned about such things?"
The young girl was very hesitant. Hearing that Daddy had waited for Mommy for so many years, she suddenly wanted to tell Daddy that she’s over four years old this year.
After hesitating for a long time, the young girl finally shook her head, "It’s nothing, just thought Daddy is amazing."
"Talia, is there something you want to tell me?" Damian raised an eyebrow, curious about what she originally intended to say as he saw her hesitate to speak.
"Daddy, I made a promise to Mommy, I can’t tell, so please don’t ask me, okay?" The young girl lowered her gaze, pouting, and said with some conflict, "I don’t want to lie to Daddy."
