Chapter 1451: Just A Quick Chat With The Goddess Of Magic
I sat across the goddess that was occupying the seat I had sat in previously, one of her legs crossed over the other while her arms were folded in front of her chest.
"What did you say your name was again?" She asked.
I didn’t, but I wasn’t going to correct her...
"Umm... Aster."
"Aster what?"
I paused, wondering if it was a good idea to reveal my family here. Then I realised that I was talking to a goddess so it shouldn’t matter, right?
"Aster Nilm."’
The Goddess cocks an eyebrow at me, as though wondering if I was joking or not.
She then looks off into the distance for a moment before turning back to me with wide eyes, "You? You’re the... Wait... You really are Aster Nilm?!"
She uncrossed her legs and leaned towards me, distracting me for a moment as her boobs bounced in front of her noticeably despite the robes she was wearing.
I blinked at her in surprise, "Umm... Yes? Is there a problem?"
She looked around the room again, as though searching for something that she was expecting to be in the room as well. When she did not find what she was looking for, she turned back to me with narrowed eyes.
"Do you know... What you did? With the Magic Circle?"
"Err... I summoned you?"
"You called for me. The Magic Circle was meant as a ritual that my Comissars could use to call for my aid. I suppose they worked that into the school’s crest which was something I never noticed since... No one else has ever tried to use it."
She shifted her gaze towards the crest for a moment, prompting me to look towards it as well.
"I umm... I don’t think anyone can just create the magic circle though... There were missing runes on it and... I only knew what was missing because of the statue over there... So... Maybe we might need to remove the runes from them to stop people from doing the same thing?"
She moved her gaze to the statue I pointed out before she let out a sigh and leaned back in her seat.
"There’s no need... I think at this point in time, the only person who is able to do this is you..."
I blinked at her, "Eh? Why?"
"As I said... This was supposed to be a ritual... Something that should have taken a whole cohort of mages to even attempt... Something that should have been impossible for a single person to do... I don’t even know how you managed to do this alone..."
Err... I guess it’s because of my Shadow Guards? And... She probably doesn’t know about them I guess...
She then narrowed her eyes at me, "That’s right... How did you even manage to do this alone? That shouldn’t have been possible..."
She then watched me for a moment, her gaze making me shudder a little and fidget uncomfortably.
That was when her gaze moved down towards the ground where my shadow was before her eyebrows lifted slightly.
I guess she figured it out.
She turned back to look at me, "Aster... Are you aware of what you have there?"
"Err... Yes?"
"You know... Some people will think that you are too dangerous to leave around right?"
The subtle threat was in the air, which was then made not so subtle by the fact that I could feel mana being gathered around her and electrical sparks appearing around her body.
Her stormy grey eyes changed into a deep blue and it seemed to be glowing as well, the glow bright to cast a blue glow around her.
I held my breath as I felt a weight pressing down on me, like something big was trying to push me down.
The feeling only lasted for a second before that was quickly dispelled and I felt myself being wrapped up in a different feeling.
No... Not a single feeling but two different feelings.
One feeling was an intense heat that made me want to just leap over the table and push the goddess down to start pounding her... The other feeling was a strange, cold embrace that felt oddly comfortable like I was being lulled to sleep.
I immediately activated [Mind Shield] and [Desensitisation] before turning around, finding Hiandoca and Srii standing behind me.
"Isre," Srii spoke out, her voice barely a whisper but yet it felt like it was echoing off the walls. "Don’t bully Aster..."
The goddess seated across from me seemed to stiffen slightly before she narrowed her eyes, "What are you two doing here?"
Hiandoca leaned over the back of the couch and wrapped her arms around me, her breath tickling my ear.
"Mmm~ Why wouldn’t we be here? We felt our favourite person was being threatened so of course we would be here~"
Goddess Isre frowned at her before her eyes suddenly widened and stared at me, looking like she had just realised something.
She lifted a finger to point at me, "No way... Wait... Her? Really?! But she’s... Oh... Ah... I see..."
Hiandoca giggled, "Ehehehe~ That’s right~ This is the Aster that we’ve been quite obsessed with~ Isn’t she great? Wanna give her a spin? She’ll make you cum your brains out and make you even forget that you’re a--"
I pushed the shock collar button.
"HIYAAAAANNNNN~~" Hiandoca moaned, her entire body spasming as she hugged herself while shaking her hips lewdly.
Huh... So that’s what happens when I press the button... Good to know...
The goddess seated across from me stared at the button I was holding in my hand before looking at Hiandoca who was still making lewd sounds behind me.
"What... Is that?"
"Err... You don’t want to know..." I muttered, quickly putting it away.
Hiandoca let out a disappointed moan but I ignored her, opting to focus on the goddess that was still seated across from me.
"Ahem... Well err... I guess you know now that I am involved with... Some of the goddesses..."
"Yes," She answered bluntly. "The mortal who charmed Srii and made Drebann go crazy obsessed with honey... Yes, I know you."
Err... I did not know about Drebann’s new obsession with honey... I mean... Sure I know she was using it and experimenting with it but... I’m pretty sure calling it an obsession was just an exaggeration.
I cleared my throat, "Ahem... So err... Anyway... I think that should settle that right? Goddess Isre?"
She waved her hand at me, "Just call me Isre at this point. I won’t hear the end of it if you’re attaching that title to my name and yet there’s Hiandoca and Srii standing behind you glaring at me."
Glaring?
I turned back to look at them, only to see them look at me and smile.
Srii was wearing a comforting and serene smile that actually made my heart flutter with how innocent she looked while Hiandoca was the complete opposite where she looked like she was going to devour me... Or have me devour her.
I looked back at Isre who was scowling at the two goddesses behind me for some reason.
"Umm... So... Isre... I err... I take it that summoning you was not part of the test to enter the Academy?"
"What kind of Academy will make it a test requirement to summon a Goddess? Of course it wasn’t. Ah, wait... Thanks for reminding me about your enrollment, I will help you with that as an apology for the... Little threat I did."
She stood up and turned towards the door, as though to call Cecilia back again.
But she paused for a few seconds before turning back to face my direction to scowl at Hiandoca and Srii.
"Well? I already said I’m sorry? Shoo, shoo. Me being here is already bad enough. If someone sees you two here as well, they would quite literally die."
The two goddesses don’t comply immediately as Hiandoca reached down to hug my face and fondle my boobs.
"Mmm... Call me again soon, Aster~ I’ll be waiting~"
She then disappeared in a flash of light.
Srii also gave me a hug from behind, albeit a gentle one and not at all perverted where she patted my head softly before whispering, "I’ll see you, Aster."
She then also disappeared.
Isre lets out a sigh, "I don’t know if I should be concerned or impressed about you, Aster... But I suppose since you would be spending your time here studying magic... I would be able to see which one it is for myself. This is, after all, my domain."
She didn’t wait for me to answer before she clapped her hands together.
I felt a wave of mana wash over me and the door was almost instantly shoved open, revealing a flustered looking Cecilia standing there.
Isre nodded at her, "My business with her is done. She is an exceptional mage. Do whatever you need to do to make sure she enrolls as a student."
"Yes, Goddess Isre!!!" The woman cried out, falling to her knees and pressing her head to the floor.
Isre then nodded at me, "I’ll be seeing you around, Aster."
She then disappeared with a whirlwind of mana.
Right... Here I was hoping for a normal enrollment process...
