Chapter 185: Chapter 163: She Even Wanted to Hollow Out the Entire Island

She then returned to the Void Isle, placing the electric iron shovel in an area with soil so it could dig continuously. Watching the quantity of dirt resources in her backpack begin to rise, Rowan Rhodes breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Seeing her return and immediately start digging into the Void Isle with the tool, Void Beast Atticus’s eyes widened. "Rowan Rhodes, did you make this? You’re amazing!" Its tone carried a faint hint of admiration.

"What? The Deep Sea Region should have these kinds of electronic products too, right?" she asked in return.

"Our clan’s Strength originates from Magic Power. We don’t interact much with the technological races," Void Beast Atticus replied. "We only know that their mechanical legions are quite formidable, so we don’t understand these kinds of products."

Rowan Rhodes was speechless. She thought, "Mechanical legions? That sounds incredibly badass."

"Technological races? Are they like us?" she probed.

Void Beast Atticus shook its head. "Not at all! They aren’t flesh and blood. Their bodies are entirely made of various metals. Some are humanoid like you, others take on beastly forms, and some are even shaped like rings... They come in all sorts of shapes. They are a profoundly powerful race and act as tyrants within the Deep Sea Region. They look down on everyone else and frequently plunder resources from other races."

Rowan Rhodes’s pupils shrank upon hearing this. She realized they were essentially sentient robots. To think they had already developed to such a terrifying extent. Azure’s technology was absolute garbage compared to them.

"Since they’re so powerful, do they plan on entering that deeper region of the sea?" she continued asking.

"I’ve heard the clan elders say that the technological races prefer the Deep Sea Region. It seems the resources in their homeworld have dried up." Void Beast Atticus dug up some information from its memory.

Rowan Rhodes’s pupils constricted again. This meant that within the Deep Sea Region, it wasn’t that all races were unable to leave the Sea Survival Game, but rather that they were unwilling to. If that were the case, Azure really might be targeted by these formidable technological races. After all, Azure possessed the very resources they needed! She immediately placed the technological races at the very top of her list of major enemies.

While she was lost in thought, Void Beast Atticus spoke up again. "You still haven’t said why this kind of electronic product can work automatically?"

"This is a tool I created. It relies on electricity to function. As long as it has power, it can run continuously. These machines lack Wisdom; they can only perform repetitive actions, which is what sets them apart from living beings." As she spoke, Rowan Rhodes took out the solar-powered electric iron pickaxe she had crafted previously and placed it on a nearby patch of ground covered entirely in Stone. The solar-powered electric iron pickaxe could pry loose hard ores, let alone ordinary Stone.

"This is very convenient, and it’s perfectly suited for our clan to use," Void Beast Atticus said happily. "Can I trade with you for these?"

Rowan Rhodes’s eyes lit up. "Of course you can."

However, based on Void Beast Atticus’s reaction, there was one thing she could be sure of: within the Deep Sea Region, the relationships between different races were likely antagonistic. Otherwise, the Void Beast Clan wouldn’t be so unfamiliar with such electronic products. Furthermore, it was highly possible that when the Sea Survival Game pulled in races from different planets, the game modes used for each of them were different.

To verify this, she continued her questioning. "Since your clan’s energy source is Magic Power, does that mean you have a closer relationship with the Magical Race?"

"Mhm, the ones who supplied us with food before were from another Magical Race," Void Beast Atticus nodded.

"When they were pulled into the Sea Survival Game, was their game mode the same as ours?" Rowan Rhodes asked. "Did the elders in your clan ever mention it to you?"

"The game modes for different races are entirely different." Void Beast Atticus gave an affirmative answer. "That’s why when we come out to do quests, the experiences shared by our clan elders can only serve as a reference, not a strict standard."

It was finally confirmed. Rowan Rhodes let out a long sigh of relief in her heart. Did this mean she was finally seeing the tip of the iceberg regarding the Sea Survival Game?

"Then you should stick close to me! I’ll show you even more Equipment from my race. All of this Equipment can serve both our races." As Rowan Rhodes spoke, her expression carried a hint of enticing allure.
