Chapter 324: Chapter 185: A-Level Extraordinary Fish Pond! Terrifying Extraordinary Traits! This Upgrade Is Perfect

Undoubtedly, the fish pond now filled nearly four-fifths of the room.

This was a stark contrast to its previous state, where it had been a mere 50 square meters and taken up less than a fifth of the space.

At a glance, it was almost all water...

Despite his shock, Chen Chong was thrilled.

Clearly, the changes to the A-Level fish pond were beyond his imagination.

’I never expected it to be this huge!’

Even the A-Level farmland wasn’t this impressive; its area was actually smaller.

’It seems the effects of upgrading different Cards can vary drastically.’

At this moment, Chen Chong and the Tiger Striped Dog weren’t the only ones affected. The various fish in the pond were also thrashing about on the surface.

The change to the pond had clearly startled them, but thankfully, it didn’t seem to affect their condition beyond the initial fright.

After taking a moment to calm himself, Chen Chong used his Identification Skill on the pond.

After reading about the A-Level fish pond...

No—after reading all the information about the A-Level Extraordinary Fish Pond, Chen Chong’s shock only intensified.

’Damn, no wonder the change is so dramatic!’

’It actually reached 200 square meters?’

’If it were just a few dozen square meters bigger, it would probably fill my entire room and even spill out into the living room!’

’The changes to the A-Level Extraordinary Fish Pond are so different from those of the A-Level Extraordinary Farmland.’

’I vaguely recall that compared to the lower-level versions, the A-Level Extraordinary Farmland didn’t change much, aside from gaining an Extraordinary Trait.’

’Its area was even a bit smaller than the B-Level farmland.’

’In contrast, the A-Level fish pond is an upgrade in every aspect.’

’Could it be that this is the result of Fish Pond Cards being rarer than Farmland Cards?’

Chen Chong shook his head, pushing the thought aside and focusing his attention back on the pond’s changes.

When he read the subsequent lines, "Increases the daily growth rate of all aquatic life... by 200%," and "...edible water weeds that increase the daily growth rate of fish by an additional 100%," Chen Chong felt a surge of ecstasy.

’Doesn’t that mean the growth rate for all the aquatic life in my pond is boosted by 300% every day?’

’Damn, that’s several times better than the B-Level fish pond. One day of growth is equivalent to three!’

The biggest challenge in fish farming had always been the growth rate. Now, with a triple growth speed, that problem was all but eliminated.

And that wasn’t even counting the growth speed bonus from the grass in his pasture.

If he factored that in as well, Chen Chong couldn’t even begin to imagine how fast the fish in his pond would grow.

Then, as his gaze moved down to the Extraordinary Traits of the A-Level Extraordinary Fish Pond, he was stunned all over again.

’Greatly increases the fish reproduction rate?’

’Reduces the chance of illness?’

’And a very small chance for fish to evolve into Extraordinary Creatures.’

’Damn, the growth rate bonus was already outrageous enough, but it can also greatly increase their reproduction rate...’

Chen Chong suddenly felt like his fish pond had become a production factory, constantly pumping out fish for him!

By comparison, the other two traits—reducing the chance of illness and the small chance of evolving into Extraordinary Creatures—seemed less important.

Of course, those two traits were still extremely valuable.

The former would ensure the fish stayed healthy. As for the latter, Chen Chong was curious. ’If an ordinary freshwater fish evolves into an Extraordinary Creature, what would be special about it?’

’Could it help me in battle, like the Rock Armor Eagle and the Tiger Striped Dog?’

’Or would consuming it have a unique effect on a Transcendent like me?’

But no matter what, this fish pond upgrade... it felt so damn good!
