The sealed item inside of the hole offered two techniques in the end.

Both of these techniques were certainly both powerful techniques, but there was a feeling of disappointment that filled them when they saw these techniques.

After all, these weren’t cultivation techniques. They were actually movement techniques.

Though they were movement techniques, it didn’t mean that they were that bad.

Compared to the ones that they currently possessed, it was certainly better.

Even Ye Qing Huan had to admit that both of these techniques were better than her current movement technique.

However, it wasn’t as if one could cultivate both of these techniques or combine the two together as one single technique. These two techniques were just too different from each other for something like that.

The main difference was that one was an orthodox technique while the other was a demonic technique.

It was certainly strange that this sealed item had techniques for both sides, but then again it was from a time where the Dao Sect had been at its peak. It had lived in a world that had been around when the Dao Sect was at its peak.

It was hard to imagine just what kind of things the sealed item had been through.

Even for Xiao Mu who had been around since the peak of the Dao Sect, it wasn’t as if Xiao Mu had ever gone out of the Dao Sect as it was just a training dummy. So even Xiao Mu wouldn’t have been able to imagine what kind of things the sealed item had experienced.

Lin Fan looked down into the hole once more and said, "Is this all that you have to offer?"

This time, the sealed item didn’t hesitate to say, "That is all."

It wasn’t that the sealed item no longer cared, it was because the sealed item knew that this was all that it could do. At this point, it didn’t matter what Lin Fan did since there was nothing else that it could offer.

It all depended on if Lin Fan kept his promise or not.

Though there was something else that the sealed item was saying without actually saying it.

"If you want more, then show that you have the ability to open this restriction array. If you do, then I’ll pass the items you want over to you."

Lin Fan didn’t fall for this cheap bait, he just placed the token against the restriction array and did what he had to do.

As the dense energy faded away, it seemed like he was planning to get rid of all the dense energy that was there. But in the end, he didn’t actually do this as he stopped right before it all disappeared.

It seemed like he was allowing for a bit to exist so that the sealed item could remain conscious.

It wasn’t as if Lin Fan didn’t know the dangers of doing such a thing, but he had his own plans. There was something else that he wanted from the sealed item and he needed it to be conscious to do so.

"Let’s test out these movement techniques."

This was something that Ye Qing Huan and Xiao Mu had already wanted to do, so they didn’t hesitate to agree with him. Both of them had already wanted to learn these techniques when they heard them, so it didn’t take much convincing at all.

After a while, it seemed like they had already picked up a few things from these two techniques.

Though the strange thing was that Lin Fan had them practice over the hole of the sealed item they got these techniques from. The way that this happened, it was as if he was making them show off what they learned to the sealed item.

Neither Ye Qing Huan nor Xiao Mu understood what Lin Fan wanted to accomplish by doing this, but they didn’t argue with him on it.

As they were doing this, Lin Fan was watching the hole as if he was waiting for something.

But in the end, there was no sound that came from the hole even after the two of them had reached a minor realm with the techniques. It was as if the sealed item in the hole just didn’t care what they were doing.

"They’re not doing that bad, they’re quite skilled if they can reach this level with just a bit of practice."

Even so, there was no answer that came from the hole.

So in the end, Lin Fan just said, "We’ll be back later."

"What is this kid doing?" That was what the sealed item thought to itself as they left.

"Not a bad haul." Lin Fan gave a nod as he looked at all the transcribed techniques that they had created.

It seemed like all of the Transcendence Realm sealed items had the level of intelligence. All of them were willing to take the gamble by offering things to their group instead of being sealed completely.

Which was why there were a bunch of sealed items that were now only partially sealed in all of these holes. They had enough energy that they were able to remain conscious, but they didn’t have enough energy to actually do anything.

Lin Fan was more than capable of sealing off all of these items, but he chose not to do it in the end.

It wasn’t because he cared about keeping his promise with the sealed items, it was that he had something else on his mind.

After receiving the techniques from the sealed items, he always remained nearby and had someone learn the techniques based on who they suited. It didn’t matter what kind of techniques they were, he had them learn all of them.

Once the person learning the technique reached a certain level, that was when he had them demonstrate it to the sealed item. It was almost as if he was showing off how well they could learn these techniques to them.

However, it wasn’t that simple either.

Before leaving, Lin Fan made sure to leave a few words with the sealed items almost as if he was some kind of friend that was there visiting them instead of someone that was there to seal them.

There was never an answer that came from the holes, but that never stopped him from saying a few words to each of the sealed items.

It really was like he wanted to properly befriend them with how he acted around them.

But now that they had finished extorting all of the sealed items, it didn’t feel like there was anything for them to do. After all, it wasn’t as if they could go back and extort them some more.

The only real card that they had now was to seal off these items once more using the control pillar, but Lin Fan didn’t do that.

Even though they didn’t say anything, Lin Fan could see the way that Ye Qing Huan and Xiao Mu were looking at him. So in the end, he just simply said, "I know what you’re thinking, but there’s more to gain from them."

Both of them raised brows to show their doubt, but Lin Fan didn’t explain right away what he meant by this.

Instead, he just asked, "What kind of things would be considered the most valuable from them?"

Once again, both of them were caught off guard by these words.

They looked at each other as if they were trying to figure out the answer to this, but it didn’t seem like either of them had an answer. Both of them had no idea what it was that Lin Fan wanted.

"Experienece."

As soon as they heard this, they both furrowed their brows.

After a long silence, Ye Qing Huan said, "That’s dangerous."

Lin Fan gave a nod to show that he agreed with her, but he still said, "Even if it’s dangerous, it’s still something that has to be done. Or else there really will be nothing to gain from this place."

Ye Qing Huan didn’t answer as she bit her lip.

For the first time, she was showing that she was struggling with this decision.

It was only right that she would struggle since these were items that were deemed too dangerous by the Dao Sect. These were items that they even had to rely on sealing away like this.

The fact that they had laid all these restriction arrays should have made things clear.

In a way, it almost felt like Lin Fan was gambling with their lives since there was no guarantee that they would be able to turn these sealed items.

But as long as Lin Fan wasn’t releasing them, it wasn’t as if there was too much danger yet.

After another moment of silence, it seemed like Ye Qing Huan finally came to a decision.

She didn’t say anything, but her eyes said it all.

"I’ll stop you if it becomes too dangerous."

It wasn’t a threat, but rather this was her way of showing her care for Lin Fan.

Lin Fan knew this as well, so he gave a simple nod in response to this.

The only one that had never said anything was Xiao Mu, but it was clear that Xiao Mu had its own opinions about this. Xiao Mu was the only one that actually had a strong connection with the Dao Sect.

So seeing them come up with this kind of plot in this part of the Dao Sect that was considered taboo, it certainly wouldn’t have felt right with Xiao Mu.

But in the end, it seemed like even Xiao Mu accepted it as well.
