Other than the Six Great Clans sending the Breathing Technique Inheritance Maps, the other two developments took Roy by surprise.

Publicizing the details of the fight wasn’t part of their agreement; the Chimera Knight had no obligation to do so.

And yet, the Chimera Knight had done it anyway.

The invitation from Edward III was also strange.

’If David Hammel wanted to see me, he could have just invited me to the Guardian Tower himself, in his capacity as the Imperial Guardian. There was no need to have Edward III send someone with an invitation.’

Though he didn’t know what David Hammel was thinking, Roy didn’t waste any mental energy trying to guess the reason.

After dinner, he took the Breathing Technique Inheritance Maps from the Six Great Clans and returned to his room.

Before coming to the Sal Empire, he possessed Inheritance Maps for only nine Perfect Breathing Techniques that he had yet to cultivate.

Now, the number of uncultivated Perfect Breathing Techniques had reached a staggering 71.

He had obtained the Undead Bird Breathing Method from the Lost Cave. The Evil Spirit Cat Clan had provided 24 breathing techniques; after subtracting the Thousand-faced Demon Fairy Breathing Technique which he had already cultivated, that left 23. The other Silver Clans contributed 32 maps, and the Golden Clan provided six.

Roy didn’t know how far the Skill Proficiency Panel could push the limits of his breathing techniques.

But of one thing he was certain: for a long time to come, he wouldn’t need to worry about a lack of materials for upgrading.

After resting in his room for a few minutes, he entered Chaos Square and placed the Breathing Technique Inheritance Maps from the Six Great Clans into a dedicated chest.
