Chapter 278: Chapter 280: One Wave After Another

’An ancestor wouldn’t just leave a piece of junk in a Secret Realm, would they?’

Andre blinked, having thought of this.

He had considered this before, but back then, he had experienced very few battles.

In the few fights he’d had, the number of enemies he could kill with the Splitting Heavy Sword was pitifully small.

Therefore, he had never discovered that the Splitting Heavy Sword could recover by absorbing the blood of its enemies.

’Why didn’t Ancestor Angelson give the Splitting Heavy Sword to other ancestors to have it repaired?’

Andre scratched his head, suddenly realizing something was wrong.

Angelson... he was a Divine Spirit, so why would he have a Morning Star Witchcraft Artifact custom-made for himself?

A Divine Spirit commissioning a custom-made weapon from his mortal enemies?

This... this... At this thought, goosebumps erupted all over Andre’s body.

"What’s going on?" Andre hurriedly reviewed the Bloodline inheritance he had received after breaking the Chain of Hatred.

But no matter how he searched, he couldn’t find any evidence that Angelson was a Wizard.

’Did I see it wrong when I got the Splitting Heavy Sword?’

Andre turned his head to look at the Splitting Heavy Sword, which he had planted in the mountain of corpses.

’Impossible. With the System’s help, my memory has never been wrong. So what’s going on here?’

Andre keenly sensed that there had to be a huge secret hidden in all of this.

But since this secret wasn’t passed down by Angelson through the Bloodline inheritance, it meant the secret was either unimportant or extremely important.

So important that even a Bloodline inheritance was insufficient to pass it on.

And Bloodline inheritance was the most advanced, most commonly used, and hardest-to-spy-on method of secret transmission in the Endless Star Realm.

What kind of secret could make Angelson believe that even a Bloodline inheritance couldn’t be trusted to pass it on?

Andre’s head felt like it was about to explode at the thought.

’Could it be that Ancestor Angelson was an undercover agent sent by the Wizard World into the Pantheon World Group?’

’But that’s not right either. If he was an undercover agent, then why didn’t my ancestor reveal his identity 3,000 years ago when those three Red Sun Great Mages attacked the Senbai World?’

Andre thought of another blind spot.

’According to the Bloodline inheritance, Angelson was equivalent to a Moonlight Great Mage.’

’A power that can afford to use a Moonlight Great Mage as an undercover agent... one can only imagine how strong they are.’

’A power like that must have a way to prove one’s identity. But why didn’t my ancestor use it to reveal who he was?’

’How did he still end up dying at the hands of those three Red Sun Great Mages?’

At this moment, these questions had turned Andre’s mind to mush.

He thought for a long time but couldn’t imagine how Angelson could be connected to Wizard Lie.

The only possibility was that he was an agent... an agent killed by his own side?

’An agent who defects to the enemy being killed is understandable.’

’But for my ancestor to defect as a Wizard... that’s completely impossible.’

’The Pantheon World Group and the Wizard Ancestral Land are mortal enemies, the irreconcilable kind.’

’This is really strange.’

Andre kept scratching his head, thinking endlessly.

But no matter how he thought, he couldn’t figure it out.

Just then, the mountain of corpses before him began to collapse. The bodies near the Splitting Heavy Sword, when touched by a slight breeze, turned into countless fine gray particles and scattered with the wind.

"Hiss... I thought that after getting rid of the Chain of Hatred, the mystery of my origins would be solved."

"But now I’m discovering that after solving the issue of the Chain of Hatred, an even bigger mystery about my origins is slowly beginning to surface."

At that moment, Andre suddenly felt a heavy exhaustion emerge from deep within his body, enveloping him.

"It’s just one thing after another!"

At this moment, Andre felt as if all the power had been drained from his body, and he slumped to the ground.

"Ugh, I was being chased at the academy, and now that I’m out, I might get chased again for all I know."

Andre let out a deep sigh.

Just as he sighed, a figure flashed across the sky.

"Over there... why is there so much blood?"

The figure had just flown over Andre’s head, but he stopped before he got far.

He noticed that an area he had just passed through reeked of blood.

The figure turned to look, and not far behind him, he saw a pile of corpses.

"Who could have done this?"

Frowning, the figure flew in that direction.

Before long, he saw Andre sitting on the ground.

At this moment, Andre was preoccupied with the problems his Bloodline had presented.

A sense of helplessness emanated from him, but in the figure’s eyes, Andre was simply exhausted.

’To kill so many alone... who is this? Is there such a formidable person on this expedition?’

The figure flickered a few times and appeared before Andre.

When he arrived in front of Andre, the figure’s face broke into a smile.

"Andre?" the figure said, looking at Andre in pleasant surprise as he called out his name.

"And you are?" Andre turned to look, realizing he didn’t recognize this person at all.

"You’re Krell’s disciple, aren’t you?"

the figure asked, looking at Andre. Andre nodded blankly.

"Krell’s teacher is named Lorne. I am Lorne’s junior martial brother."

Munger introduced himself to Andre. Munger’s face was filled with excitement; he hadn’t expected to find Andre so easily.

"You are...?" Hearing this, Andre felt his whole body go numb.

’Another grand-master?’

’Why do people from my grand-master’s generation keep popping up all the time?’

"Did you do all this?"

At that moment, Munger was looking at the mountain of corpses in front of Andre.

Andre nodded blankly.

When Andre nodded in acknowledgment, the excitement on Munger’s face instantly turned into deep confusion.

From his observation, Andre’s Realm was only that of a Level 2 Wizard. And a Level 2 Wizard killed all these guys?

’Isn’t that level of combat prowess a bit too exaggerated?’

"Hiss! How did you kill them?"

Munger looked at Andre in confusion. He couldn’t fathom how Andre, with the Realm of a Level 2 Wizard, had managed to kill the Racial Alliance Army before him.

"All out!" Andre said, looking at Munger with great sincerity.

"All out?"

When Munger heard those two words, his expression was a sight to behold.

Facing such a large number of enemies, going "all out" and then killing all of them... even if you were going to lie, you wouldn’t tell such a blatant one.

This was just a bald-faced lie.

But looking at Andre’s exhausted state, it didn’t seem like a complete lie either.
