Wizard: Scamming a Demon God
Chapter 538 - 386: Privilege Magic: Big Mouth Swallow
Chapter 538: Chapter 386: Privilege Magic: Big Mouth Swallow
More importantly, it was he, Morgan, who had swallowed the two Outer God Incarnations!
And once swallowed, they couldn’t be spit back out!
He was confident in his Endless Melting Furnace, believing that even the power of an Outer God Incarnation would be completely refined once it entered. Unfortunately...
...his opponent was Isaac.
The one known as a "lunatic" even among the Mad Witches—the Mad Witch, Isaac!
’Who knows what kind of insidious tricks this guy might have? What if he condenses my act of devouring the Outer God Incarnations into some kind of Concept to initiate a ritual?’
Well, it had to be said, Morgan was truly Philo’s older brother. He had some understanding of Legendary Mages, especially High-tier Legendary Wizards. If Isaac knew what Morgan was thinking, he would have definitely given him a thumbs-up.
For a mere brute to guess his intentions to such an extent was quite remarkable.
Although, he was only partially correct.
As time passed, Morgan found it increasingly difficult to remain calm. Despite exercising immense restraint amidst Isaac’s storm-like onslaught, he was still being pushed, bit by bit, toward Tier Five...
Moreover, the battle below had already concluded. The forces of Terra were utterly defeated...
Liu Li, Shushu, and the Saint Master were completely victorious!
Of course, this wasn’t to say the Terra Kingdom lacked Tier Three experts stronger than the trio; they just weren’t in this world, or in the Royal City.
After all, the Terra Kingdom was currently besieged from all sides, its true elites scattered across the land to defend it. As for the Royal City...
With Morgan standing guard, nothing should have gone wrong under normal circumstances. Who could have predicted a situation like this?
And so, slowly, even though Morgan did his utmost to hold back—at times even choosing to directly tank Isaac’s attacks—he was still unavoidably "fed" to the very threshold of Tier Four...
And at that very moment, the worst-case scenario occurred—Isaac stopped attacking!
Just as Morgan felt he might temporarily advance to Tier Five at any moment, Isaac and the Four Gods he commanded all ceased their attacks. The Four Gods moved to protect Isaac, forming a heavy defensive line and dispelling any thought Morgan had of launching a surprise assault.
Watching this, the hearts of Morgan and the otherworldly Tier Five powerhouse gradually sank...
In contrast, the corners of the mouths of those from the Otesk Empire and the Kingdom Alliance curled into faint smiles.
Would things unfold as they imagined?
In the center of the battlefield, Isaac looked at Morgan, whose aura had swelled to several times its initial size, and sighed to himself. ’This [Boundless] is truly formidable. I had it easy at the beginning, but toward the end, all I could do was kite him. I lacked any means of delivering a fatal blow.’
’Even kiting him became more and more difficult. The Divine Domain enveloping him is now at the same Level as Morgan himself, just a hair’s breadth away from true Divine Kingdom Power!’
’Such terrifying power. No wonder the Emperor, having foreseen his own fated death, would risk everything to seize it.’
’Still, [Boundless] is strong, but not *that* strong.’
"Tsk~ As expected of [Boundless]. Truly powerful. To think the old man once possessed such power... I really wonder what the future fated battle with you will be like."
"What is your true purpose!" Morgan’s gaze was dark, his attention fixed firmly on Isaac. If Isaac made a single suspicious move, he would immediately activate his contingency plan and ascend to Tier Five!
’With [Boundless], and a Divine Domain Enhanced by [Boundless] to the level of a Divine Realm, I might even have a fighting chance against a true Deity!’
At this thought, Morgan froze. ’Don’t tell me... that’s this guy’s plan? To turn me into an "Emperor’s Decree"?’
But before Morgan could voice his question, Isaac answered him from across the battlefield.
"My purpose? I told you from the beginning: I came to witness the power of [Boundless]. I’ve been doing some research related to Knights lately, so I was curious. As for the fated battle between you and my big brother, don’t worry. I won’t tell him anything unless he asks. It’s probably... not necessary anyway." Isaac smiled faintly, his expression casual, as if he weren’t dropping any important information.
Of course, after this direct encounter, Isaac’s opinion hadn’t changed. [Boundless] was certainly powerful in a fight, with what could be described as limitless wartime growth potential, but...
...that was all there was to it.
Morgan’s growth to the verge of Tier Five was entirely the result of Isaac deliberately "feeding" him. In a normal fight, where would he find so much energy and time to slowly devour it all?
Under normal circumstances, he would at most rise one or two minor ranks. While that would be incredibly difficult for an ordinary opponent to handle, in the eyes of a true genius, it was nothing special. As long as he didn’t cross a Major Tier, the effect was negligible.
In Isaac’s opinion, the most formidable aspect of the [Boundless] Authority was its application in Cultivation!
If it could allow for temporary breakthroughs in battle, even across Major Tiers, then it could surely do the same in daily Cultivation. The cost might be higher, but that was still terrifying. It meant a Knight possessing [Boundless] would face no bottlenecks whatsoever!
Now, Isaac was only puzzled by one thing: why follow the path of a Knight of God? This Authority was clearly a better match for the Path of the Demon Beasts, which had no territory-based Level restrictions.
Perhaps there were secrets involved that he wasn’t aware of, but that wasn’t something he could discern from a single battle.
