World Evolution: Starting With The Wind Monarch
Chapter 122: Queen Eleanor (Part 3)
As Alice opened the door, Liam and the others immediately stepped inside.
Evan took a deep breath before he followed after them. And the instant he stepped inside, he was taken aback, and his eyes widened slightly.
"This..."
Evan looked around with a stunned expression, unable to hide his surprise. Before he entered the room, he had thought the inside would be similar to a study room or something.
But what came into his view was actually a beautiful garden filled with different flowers, trees, and plants.
Moreover, the density of Mana here was so high that Evan could even see wisps of Mana turning into liquid on the leaves of the trees.
Some small birds and butterflies flew from one tree to another, their chipping adding a hint of life in the beautiful garden.
As his gaze swept over the garden, Evan saw many plants that seemed quite rare, and there was even a small pond at the center of the garden.
Taking a deep breath, he suppressed the shock in his heart and saw that Liam and the others had already walked ahead.
He quickly followed after them and noticed that they were walking towards the pond in the center.
A tree was growing beside the pond, and a beautiful elf lady who looked like a mature version of Alice, with the same flowing long blue hair, was sitting under it, reading a book with a look of interest.
As Alice and the others came closer, the woman closed the book and looked at them with a gentle smile.
Alice returned a smile to her, while Liam and the others respectfully bowed to her.
"We pay our respect to the Queen."
Evan was taken aback by Liam and the others’ sudden action and immediately followed after them, bowing slightly.
’Damn, couldn’t they have given me a signal beforehand?’
He shouted inwardly, his eyes twitching slightly as he slowly rasied his head.
"It seems all of you have successfully completed the task," Eleanora said, and her eyes paused on Evan, looking at him curiously.
Evan felt slightly nervous inwardly under her gaze, and his mind raced at full speed, wondering what he should say.
He had never met a queen or king in his life, and his very little experience of talking with people did nothing to help him in his current situation.
’Should I greet her? Like saying... What’s up, lady? How do you do? No, no, no... I still want to live a little longer. Maybe I should invite her to join grandfather’s organization... Damn it, what’s wrong with me? Why am I getting suicidal ideas...’
Evan’s mind was in complete mess and froze under her gaze. As a result, he stared at Eleanora with an expressionless face.
Eleanora looked at Evan for a few seconds, and seeing him staring at her expressionlessly, she felt slightly uncomfortable and turned her head away, looking at Alice for an explanation.
Liam almost burst into laughter when he saw Evan’s expressionless look and gave him a thumbs-up inside his heart.
Alice also facepalmed and sighed to herself.
’I told him to behave normally. What’s with this stoic look on his face?’
She coughed lightly and spoke to Eleanora seriously.
"Mom, there is a situation with the Entrance Authority Token."
"Hmm?" Eleanora raised an eyebrow at her words. "What happened?"
Alice didn’t explain anything with words. Instead, she stepped forward and handed a small, round crystal to her.
Eleanora took the crystal and inserted a little Mana into it.
As she did, a stream of mental energy was directly poured into her mind through the crystal, and everything that happened after Alice and the others left appeared in her mind, scene by scene.
The scenes were playing at rapid speed, and in just one minute, the scene of Evan falling from the sky and appearing on Planet Elvador appeared before Eleanora.
A few seconds later, she watched the part of Evan explaining his situation, and Eleanora stopped watching further, a frown appearing on her face.
Without saying anything, she took out a token from her Storage Ring.
The token was similar to Evan’s Entrance Authority Token and was star-shaped.
But compared to his token, its size was a bit larger.
’Is that the Supreme Entrance Authority Token?’
Evan thought to himself when he saw the token in her hand.
Eleanora pressed the token against her forehead, and the token soon lit up with a faint golden light.
Around a minute later, the light around the token disappeared, and a confused look appeared on Eleanora’s face.
"What’s wrong, Mom? Did you find anything?" Alice asked when she saw the look on Eleanora’s face.
"Can you show me your Entrance Authority Token?"
Eleanora didn’t answer Alice’s question and looked at Evan.
Evan nodded and handed over his Entrance Authority Token without asking anything, his face still remaining expressionless.
’Are you a zombie or something, or do you think I am a man-eating monster?’
Eleanora’s mouth twitched slightly, and she nearly spoke her thoughts aloud.
In the recording of the crystal, she had just seen Evan talking with Alice and the others normally, but now he was behaving as if he would be killed if he opened his mouth.
She felt that she hadn’t done anything that would make him feel afraid of her.
Shaking her head, she took the token from Evan’s hand.
Eleanora placed her Supreme Entrance Authority Token on top of Evan’s token, and a golden light shone from her Supreme Entrance Authority Token.
Eleanora concentrated for a few seconds, and her expression gradually turned serious.
After ten seconds, the light faded away, and the token returned to normal.
Eleanora stared at the two tokens in her hand for a few seconds before she opened her mouth and said something that stunned Evan and the others.
"It’s strange. For some reason, this token already has the authority to come to this planet whenever its owner wants, and most importantly, even by using the Supreme Entrance Authority Token, I can’t remove this permission."
