Evan looked at the Winged Elf approaching them and raised an eyebrow in surprise.

Eric was 180 centimeters tall, and with his handsome elvish face, light-blue hair, and white wings behind him, he looked like a true lady killer.

As he approached, Eric glanced at everyone before his gaze stopped on Alice with a smile.

"It’s been a while since we last met, Alice. I heard you are also going to Planet Agroth in a few days."

"Yes." Alice nodded calmly before pointing at Erza and the others. "Not only me, but my friends will also be going with me."

"That’s good." Eric nodded before offering Erza and the others perfunctory congratulations.

He then turned back to Alice and continued talking to her.

Liam and Kevin shook their heads when they saw this, while Erza rolled her eyes, her eyes filled with disdain.

"Are you guys on bad terms?" Evan whispered to Liam when he noticed their reactions.

"Not exactly." Liam shook his head. "This guy has been trying to pursue Alice for a long time. Whenever he gets the chance, he comes over to bother her."

"Oh!" Evan nodded and looked at Alice, noticing that she seemed eager to get away but couldn’t find an opportunity to do so.

Erza leaned closer to him and spoke in a low voice.

"Actually, this guy is interested in Alice mostly because she’s the daughter of Queen Eleanor. He’s just another annoying fly who keeps bothering her because he’s after her status."

Kevin also shook his head and spoke flatly.

"You can tell his friendly smile is fake. Since he arrived, he hasn’t even taken a proper look at us."

"Indeed, that friendly smile is just a facade he uses to appear elegant in front of people," Liam agreed.

A look of understanding flashed across Evan’s eyes when he heard their words as he had been wondering why Alice seemed so impatient with this guy.

Just as they were talking, they heard Alice’s voice.

"We are busy right now. If you will excuse us."

Eric’s smile faltered for a moment when he heard Alice’s words, but he quickly composed himself and nodded.

"All right, let’s talk another time."

After speaking, he finally shifted his attention toward Evan.

"Are you the one who stole my brother’s Epic-Grade treasure?"

Evan raised an eyebrow when he heard the word stole, but he soon smirked and asked, "Who’s your brother?"

"Adam, the Winged Elf you defeated using some underhanded method," Eric replied in a cold voice.

"Oh? And what kind of underhanded method are you talking about?" Evan asked with an amused smile, completely ignoring the cold look Eric was giving him.

"I don’t know what kind of underhanded method you used since I wasn’t there, but I’m certain a puny human like you could never defeat Adam fairly!"

Evan couldn’t help chuckling when he heard Eric’s words and looked at Alice.

"Alice, he is calling you a blind fool."

"What?"

Not only Eric but also Alice and the other students who had stopped to watch the commotion were stunned by Evan’s words.

"Why do you look so surprised?" Evan shrugged. "You were the one supervising the competition. But according to this guy, I cheated and you failed to notice it. If you couldn’t even detect the trick of someone whose level was lower than yours, doesn’t that mean you’re blind and an fool?"

The corners of Alice’s mouth twitched when she heard Evan’s words, but she understood that he was giving her an opportunity to deal with Eric, who had been bothering her for a long time.

"I apologize for being such a blind fool, Eric. I hope you won’t speak to me again in the future, or I might just attack you directly. After all, you can’t predict what a blind fool might do next."

Alice spoke in a cold voice, her expression completely indifferent.

Cold sweat appeared on Eric’s face, and he immediately shook his head.

"Alice, I didn’t mean that! I was ju—"

"I believe I just told you not to speak to me again." Alice cut him off and looked at him indifferently.

Eric met Alice’s cold gaze and immediately shut his mouth. He looked at Evan and his face twisted with anger.

"You human scum! How dare you badmouth Alice?" He shouted furiously. "I’ll teach you a lesson on behalf of your parents and show you that you shouldn’t speak ill of others!"

Evan was speechless when he heard Eric’s righteous words.

"And how exactly are you going to teach me a lesson?" He asked casually.

"I am going to challenge you to a spar and take back the boots you stole from my brother. Don’t worry, I’ll only use the power of a Peak Rank One Evolver, so you won’t be able to accuse me of bullying you."

"Is that so..." Evan smiled before asking in a low voice, "And, Mister Sparrow, why do you think I’ll accept your challenge?"

Eric was taken aback by Evan’s question and didn’t even notice the nickname Evan had given him.

He stared at Evan for a moment before a mocking smile appeared on his face.

"Don’t tell me you’re scared?"

Evan sighed and looked at Liam.

"Do you think this guy fell headfirst and damaged his brain when he was a toddler?"

Liam tried to hold back his laughter when he heard Evan, but the twitching corners of his mouth made it clear that he was having a hard time.

Evan didn’t wait for Liam’s response. Instead, he looked back at Eric, who now had an ugly expression on his face.

"You just said that you’d take back the boots I won from Adam if I lost, but you never said what I’d get if I won. Do you expect me to fight you without getting anything in return?"

Eric was stunned when he heard Evan’s words. However, he soon burst into laughter.

"Hahaha! You? Do you actually think you can beat me?"

Even the students who had gathered around them to watch the commotion looked at Evan strangely.

Evan ignored their reactions and continued staring at Eric, waiting for him to take the bait and offer something valuable.

After laughing for nearly twenty seconds, Eric finally calmed down. He wiped the tears from the corners of his eyes and looked at Evan.

"Fine. Tell me, what do you want?"
