Yandere Villainess CEO is obsessed with me
Chapter 95: The Shocked Professors
An hour has already slipped past. What’s the point of him starting to write now? Can he possibly finish forty hyper-complex questions in the remaining time? Let alone score high enough to pass!"
Once Julian started writing, he didn’t pause for a single second.
He kept his head lowered, his hand moving across the paper with fluid, unbroken rhythm. There was zero hesitation, zero scratching out of errors, and zero pauses for thought. Dense, elegant rows of handwriting rapidly filled the blank sheets.
"Could Julian actually know how to solve these? He’s writing at an astonishing speed..." one of Leo Vance’s lackeys muttered, dumbfounded.
Leo Vance let out a harsh, mocking laugh. "He knows how to solve them? Pigs will fly before that happens!"
"He’s just scribbling random nonsense out of pure desperation. This is nothing more than a pathetic, dying gasp before execution."
Leo knew better than anyone else just how utterly incompetent Julian’s academic foundation was. Julian had spent all his time following Natasha around like a lapdog, working multiple part-time jobs every single day just to scrape by. How on earth could someone with that background possess the time or intellect to study advanced finance?
Even he might struggle to solve these diabolically difficult questions; how could a good-for-nothing like Julian possibly answer them correctly?
Many students shared Leo’s cynical mindset, assuming Julian was merely faking it and writing garbage to save face.
Time ticked away second by second.
Secretary Evelyn watched anxiously, her nerves on edge. Julian had already completed five full test papers, filling several thousand words across the pages without his hand even showing a hint of fatigue or slowing down.
Julian was slightly surprised by his own physical endurance. The two permanent stamina points the system had awarded him earlier were genuinely turning out to be immensely useful for high-intensity tasks like this.
Suddenly, a synthesized prompt chimed in his mind:
[System Notice:] That goes without saying! Anything produced and awarded by this system is guaranteed to be of the highest absolute quality.
Julian sneered internally: If you’re so damn capable, why couldn’t I beat Victoria in bed last night?
[System:] ...She is a yandere chaebol female villainess from a romance novel. If she weren’t physically overpowering, how could she live up to that title? Host, keep up the good work! If you successfully complete your character missions, you’ll definitely be able to stand up tall and reclaim your dominance someday.
Julian: "Get lost."
System:"..."
The system immediately went silent.
Putting down his pen, Julian stood up from his chair and announced clearly: "I have finished all the test papers."
Deputy Director Abraham frowned, stepping forward. "Julian, there is still an entire hour left before the official time limit expires. Are you entirely sure you’re finished?"
"Yes. I’m completely done," Julian nodded calmly.
"Very well."
Deputy Director Abraham collected the stack of completed test papers and handed them directly over to the Head of Academic Affairs and the four veteran professors who had drafted the questions, preparing for an immediate spot-grading session.
The surrounding students buzzed with curious speculation:
"How on earth could Julian finish so quickly? He only actually spent three hours working through those monster problems!"
"I guess Julian simply gave up struggling halfway through. He probably realized he was totally screwed and just wanted to finish writing whatever nonsense as fast as possible to escape this humiliating public trial."
The Head of Academic Affairs snatched Julian’s completed test paper from the stack, a sneer plastered across his face. He eagerly wanted to witness firsthand what kind of absolute garbage Julian had managed to scribble down!
His eyes dropped down to scan the top page.
This...?!
The academic director’s gaze abruptly froze dead in its tracks.
I must have misread it, he thought, blinking hard.
The Head of Academic Affairs furiously rubbed his eyes and stared down at the paper once more.
"Impossible..."
"This is completely impossible!"
The academic director shook his head, muttering in sheer disbelief under his breath.
"Look at everyone’s faces!" a sharp-eyed student exclaimed from the middle rows, pointing excitedly. "What on earth is going on with the expressions on the director’s and those veteran professors’ faces right now? They look utterly shell-shocked!"
The other students immediately shifted their attention, carefully observing the faces of the Head of Academic Affairs and the senior finance professors.
My god... it’s true!
All of them wore expressions of absolute, paralyzed shock, as if they had just witnessed a ghost materialize in broad daylight.
"What on earth could they possibly be so shocked about? Are they shocked by how abysmally terrible Julian’s answers are?" the students murmured in confusion.
"But that doesn’t make logical sense... Julian only started working on those diabolically difficult questions an hour late, and finished way ahead of time. How could his answers be anything other than a disaster?"
Leo Vance stared fixedly at Julian, a triumphant sneer on his lips. "I bet they are simply shocked by how profoundly idiotic and illiterate Julian’s test paper turned out to be."
After all, these veteran professors were elite scholars with astronomically high academic standards. Having spent their entire careers grading papers from top-tier, brilliant students, it was only natural that they would be momentarily traumatized and shocked upon suddenly encountering a hopeless student’s paper filled with utter nonsense.
Right? That has to be it!
One of Leo Vance’s lackeys nodded in agreement. However, no matter how hard he squinted, he couldn’t ignore the fact that beneath the professors’ initial shock, their faces also carried an unmistakable expression of profound awe and disbelief.
"This... this... this—!"
Deputy Director Abraham suddenly slammed his fist down hard onto the wooden table and stood up so fast his chair screeched against the floor.
His face had flushed beet-red with overwhelming emotional agitation.
Everyone present in the lecture hall turned to stare at Deputy Director Abraham with suspended breath.
Leo Vance piped up loudly, unable to contain his malice: "Deputy Director Abraham, is it because Julian’s handwriting and answers are so utterly atrocious and illiterate that they literally offended your eyes?"
After tossing out that barb, Leo turned back to gloat at Julian. "Brother, I honestly advise you to apologize to your classmates and the university leadership right now. If you beg for forgiveness sincerely, maybe the school leaders will show mercy and spare you from criminal charges of fraud."
