Chapter 124: A Conflict Between Mother and Daughter

[Sidney’s POV]

"Urgh."

A deep groan escaped from the lips of Sidney as she groggily opened her eyes.

She looked up at the ceiling of her room with a blank expression.

Slowly, the events of last night began to bombard her mind as a deep blush threatened to turn her face red.

She picked up the pillow beside her and placed it over her mouth before she squealed from the top of her lungs.

"Yeahhh!!"

Her voice was muffled, but it was hard to hide the excitement behind it.

She put the pillow back in its place before she looked at the ceiling again.

’....I should not be this happy after getting fucked by my brother...’ Sidney thought to herself as the blush on her face grew even more.

She let out a sigh and got up, only to notice that she was wearing her pink pajamas.

Her eyes blinked away the drowsiness before she smiled sweetly.

Sidney remembered clearly that she was completely naked when she lost her consciousness.

’Amon must have put the clothes on me.’ She thought to herself as she got off the bed.

These small things were hard for a man to care about, but for a woman, it was all they needed.

Amon could have left her naked, but he chose to help her with her dress so she didn’t catch a cold.

’That’s why I like you so much, big brother.’

With a small smile on her face, Sidney got down from her bed and stretched her body.

Her lower abdomen wriggled in pain, but it wasn’t that bad.

Sidney put her hands on her waist before she grumbled inwardly. ’...He was really hard with me. Not that I didn’t like it.’

Putting those thoughts aside, Sidney hopped out of her room to mess with Amon again.

Since they had started to live together, Sidney had liked to mess with him.

It was a part of her daily life, and Sidney felt like she did the right thing by bullying him.

’If I had not done it, then he might have always seen me as a sister.’

She didn’t want that, but she also didn’t have any good way to have a conversation with him without annoying him.

’...I’m such a dumb and socially awkward person.’ Sidney let out a soft sigh as she walked in the hallway.

But before she could even go to his room, she found her mother sitting on the sofa.

"Mom." Sidney called her. "What are you doing here?"

Ambrosia looked up at her, and the lady smiled. "Come here, I was looking through the old pictures of Amon’s childhood."

Sidney’s eyes lit up as she quickly rushed towards her, finding a photo book in her mother’s lap.

The photo book was one of the things that Ambrosia got from the old house of Amon.

She mostly kept it to herself and never took it out unless needed.

Sidney sat down beside her and asked, "Why did you take it out now?"

"...I wanted to knit one of the sweaters that Amon used to wear." She said with a gentle smile. "There was one that he really liked in his childhood."

Sidney nodded her head and looked up at her mother. "Why now?"

"He is going to the capital city without us." She said with a smile. "I wanted him to remember me with something."

Sidney nodded her head and looked at the old pictures of Amon.

Most of the pictures were all embarrassing ones, so Ambrosia rarely put them out in front of Amon.

’...He must not be here for her to bring it out.’ Sidney thought with a disappointed look on her face.

Though her face melted into a smile when she looked at the pictures of Amon.

During his childhood, Amon was chubby and unlike his current self.

"He was such a cute boy." Ambrosia said gently. "Though he is still quite handsome."

Sidney nodded her head without saying anything. She kept on looking at the images.

The more she looked, the more her face turned into guilt.

’....I shouldn’t have bullied him for being fat.’ she thought to herself. ’Even though I just wanted him to be fit and healthy....’

She let out a sigh, pushing those thoughts aside.

As Ambrosia turned the page of the photos in the gallery book, suddenly a naked photo of Amon appeared in front of them.

Ambrosia let out a small chuckle and said gently, "He was so small."

"Not anymore." Sidney said unconsciously before she could even understand what she said.

’Shitt!’

"What!?" Ambrosia let out a startled voice. "How do you know!?"

"I-I mean, he’s not a child." Sidney stuttered in response, creating a gap between them. "I-It’s not that hard to guess."

"W-why what..." Ambrosia looked at her daughter in horror. "Why would you even think that about your brother!?"

"He is a foster child, Mom." Sidney refuted. "He is not really my brother."

"Oh my God, Sidney!?" A look of horror appeared on the face of Ambrosia. "Do you like your brother romantically!?"

’....Why would you come to that conclusion, Mother...’ Sidney thought, her mouth opening up slightly.

"Sidney...How can you be so stupid?" Ambrosia asked, rubbing her temples. "How can you fall for your own brother?"

"Foster brother--."

"Oh, come on!" Ambrosia groaned while slamming the book down. "You are not going anywhere close to him, young lady."

Ambrosia glared at her with her arms crossed. "What you are thinking is taboo, and under no circumstances would I allow you to seduce your brother!"

’Should I just tell her?’

Sidney was tempted to just say out loud that they had already fucked, but she held back.

’...I can’t make Amon look bad here.’

She just let out a soft sigh and mumbled, "It’s not for you to decide--."

"Amon is not for you to take!" Ambrosia yelled loudly. "As his mother, I will not allow this."

"Sure, Mom." Sidney said, standing up and walking towards her room. "Whatever you say."

She ignored the outburst of her mother and returned to her room.

While walking, a thought lingered in her mind.

’....Isn’t Mom reacting a little too harshly?’ she thought to herself. ’She is acting like I tried to seduce her lover.’

But after thinking for a while, she shrugged it off.

’....There is no way Mom is also interested in Amon, right?’
