Chapter 1560: Chapter 1550: Like Mu Yan

Ms. Zhang was about to explode with anger; she had never seen anyone do business like this before.

Given the crowds watching around her, she directly said, "Fine, count it as my breach of contract. I’ll pay you double the room rate, alright? Making things difficult over a bit of money is just too far gone."

"This isn’t about the money. Dear guest, even if you paid ten times, I must still ask you to leave today." The boss was determined.

"You..." Ms. Zhang was furious, turning her head to the others, "Everyone, judge for yourself, isn’t this boss abusing his power to bully a mere traveler like me?"

A girl softly said, "You’re not just a mere traveler; you’re quite wealthy. You can pay double the room rate but are unwilling to adhere to the rule of paying in advance."

The guy next to her nudged her, indicating she shouldn’t speak recklessly.

Someone else added, "You didn’t pay for today’s room, so technically, you shouldn’t even be here for this meal. The boss didn’t even charge you for lunch, which is quite generous. Auntie, be content, you’re not a queen, why should you expect special treatment?"

Seeing that no one was speaking up for her, Ms. Zhang’s face alternated between green and white, pointing at other guests, saying, "You’re all just a bunch of birds of a feather. Moving out? Fine, I’ll move out. You love this lousy hotel so much, then stay in it yourselves."

With that, she stormed upstairs in a huff.

"What a lousy hotel, this is actually the best B&B around here. If you’re not liking it, you shouldn’t have stayed here in the first place."

"Nowadays, some aunties really think they’re big shots, wanting special treatment for everything, thinking they’re someone special."

"The boss finally did something good, I’ve had enough of her. Acting all high and mighty, looking down on others for this and that. I thought she was some noble lady from somewhere, but turns out she’s a stingy woman who even wants to cheat on the room fee."

...

As the incident unraveled, complaints kept pouring out.

At this moment, the boss said, "There’s something I need to inform everyone about."

"What?"

"Please, guests staying here, refrain from saying anything insulting about the female celebrity Mu Yan."

"Huh?" Everyone was taken aback, not understanding his meaning.

The boss explained, "Because the true owner of this place is a superfan of Mu Yan. So if any such incidents occur, I apologize, but you’ll be asked to leave, and we will fully refund your room fee."

With that, he nodded to everyone and turned back to his work.

The guests exchanged glances. Wow, Mu Yan actually has such fans.

"Why do I feel like this strong CEO vibe seems a bit familiar, like I’ve seen it somewhere before?" a girl quietly remarked.

"Have you read too many CEO novels? Maybe it’s just a marketing stunt."

"What if news of this spreads? Do you think Mu Yan might actually come here?"

"You’re overthinking it. She’s so wealthy, how could she possibly come to a place like this?"

...

The crowd exchanged knowing glances, feeling it made sense.

"Alright, let’s get back to eating, the food’s going cold, everyone finish up and get some rest."

The guests returned to the dining area, ready to continue their meal, just as a waitress led a woman in.

The woman was dressed in a light blue dress, wore sneakers, and had a baseball cap and mask on, covering half her face, revealing only her clear eyes.

The waitress escorted her to the staircase, saying, "Your room is at the far east side on the second floor. If you need anything, you can call the front desk."

"Thank you." The woman nodded, heading upstairs.

Watching the woman’s back, someone joked, "What’s going on here? Guests all like to cover their faces; it’s not like they’re celebrities. What are they afraid of being recognized for?"

"Why do I feel like my dream has come true?" a girl commented.

"What?"

"Don’t you think that woman looks like Mu Yan?"
