Chapter 76: Chapter 76: Which Big Shot Is This?

Stella Shaw’s brow furrowed at his words.

Before Sienna Everett could speak, Orion Hawthorne stepped forward with a scoff. "Well, look who it is. Our defeated opponent, Dustin Everett. After your new song sold like crap, you still have the nerve to come out and eat?"

Dustin Everett’s expression instantly turned ugly.

His new song’s sales volume and revenue had both been crushed, which was undoubtedly a sore spot for him. Orion Hawthorne was deliberately twisting the knife.

Although SG had composed the song for Orion Hawthorne, allowing him to win, the fact that Sienna Everett had helped Orion promote his new song was something Dustin Everett couldn’t tolerate.

Dustin Everett shot Sienna Everett a cold glare. "Don’t think you can do whatever you want just because Third Brother’s opinion of you has changed. Let me tell you, don’t even think about stepping foot in the Everett Family’s home ever again!"

Orion Hawthorne’s eyes narrowed, a vicious glint in them. "Dustin Everett, last time I told you to take a piss and look at your own reflection. Looks like you didn’t. You’re still just as clueless about yourself. The Everett Family? What the hell are they?!"

"You!" Dustin Everett’s face flushed red with anger.

Sienna Everett’s icy gaze fell on Dustin Everett, her impassive eyes betraying no emotion. "Listen closely, Dustin Everett. I will never, ever go back to a disgusting place like the Everett home."

After speaking, Sienna Everett left with Orion Hawthorne and Stella Shaw without a hint of reluctance.

Dustin Everett replayed her words in his mind, feeling dazed.

’Sienna Everett actually said... she would never come back...’

’How could she say something like that...’

For some reason, Dustin Everett didn’t want to hear it. He lifted his head in a daze, wanting to run after Sienna Everett.

But then he saw the receding figures of Sienna Everett and Orion Hawthorne leaving together. Remembering how his new song’s sales had been crushed, Dustin Everett’s expression instantly turned cold.

’I can’t believe I actually felt a moment of pity for that jinx. I shouldn’t have.’

’She’s just a heartless, ungrateful beast!’

’She only helps outsiders and has no idea how to help her own family!’

’Someone worse than an animal like her should just drop dead outside for all I care!’

As Dustin Everett stewed, he thought about how he would get to meet SG in a week. When that time came, he would ask his master to write a new song for him to properly repay Sienna Everett and Orion Hawthorne!

...

Orion Hawthorne booked a private room. After all, he and Sienna Everett were celebrities and had to be careful not to be photographed.

After they were seated, Orion Hawthorne cleared his throat. "Ahem, Sienna Everett, I wasn’t helping you just now. I just can’t stand the sight of Dustin Everett."

The corners of Sienna Everett’s eyes lifted in a slight smile. "I know."

Orion Hawthorne clicked his tongue. "Good that you know!"

Stella Shaw: "..."

Orion Hawthorne lifted his chin, gesturing to Sienna Everett. "Go ahead and order. My treat. Order whatever you want, don’t try to save me money."

Sienna Everett didn’t hold back, pointing at the menu and saying, "This page, this page, and this page too."

Orion Hawthorne: "???"

Orion Hawthorne stared, dumbfounded.

’Damn, other people order dish by dish. She’s something else, ordering page by page.’

’There are several dishes on each of those pages!’

’And she ordered from the first few pages, all the restaurant’s signature dishes. They’re expensive as hell.’

’I can see she’s really not holding back.’

"Alright, looks like you’ve invented a whole new way to order food," Orion Hawthorne couldn’t help but tease.

No matter how composed and serious Stella Shaw usually was, even she couldn’t help but let out a small laugh.

It was perfect, though. She also wanted to try the restaurant’s signature dishes.

When the food arrived, they found that although they had ordered many dishes, each portion was small and exquisite. The three of them actually managed to finish all dozen or so dishes.

After dinner, it was already past ten o’clock at night.

Sienna Everett received a call from Julian Forrester, who said he was driving over to pick her up.

Sienna Everett said goodbye to Orion Hawthorne and Stella Shaw, then walked across the street and got into Julian Forrester’s car.

It was quite dark, with the street’s neon lights flickering. Orion Hawthorne couldn’t see clearly and asked curiously, "Ophelia, who’s that picking Sienna Everett up?"

Stella Shaw gave him a meaningful look. "You should observe carefully yourself."

Orion Hawthorne shoved his hands in his pockets, his tall, lean frame silhouetted. Hearing her reply, he was speechless for a moment. "Why are you being so mysterious? Forget it, I’m heading home too."

Meanwhile.

Sienna Everett got in the car and sat in the passenger seat, her gaze falling on Julian Forrester in the driver’s seat.

The man was wearing a crisp white shirt with the top two buttons undone, revealing the sexy line of his collarbone.

One of his hands rested casually on the steering wheel. His wrist bone protruded slightly, and his long, fair fingers exuded a magnetic, heart-fluttering charm.

Sienna Everett blinked, the corners of her rosy lips curving up slightly. "Sorry to trouble you to come pick me up again."

Julian Forrester slanted a look at her. "Trouble?"

After a two-second pause, he spoke lazily, his tone full of meaning, as if reminding her, "You’re my wife. If I don’t pick you up, who should I pick up?"

Sienna Everett: "..."

’Fine, fine. I’ll never say it’s ’trouble’ again.’

「Back at Veridian Gardens.」

Sienna Everett got out of the car and was surprised to see Samuel Sutton there so late. He must have come to see Julian Forrester about something important for work.

"Good evening, Miss Everett," Samuel Sutton said with a smile.

Sienna Everett was surprised. "Still working this late?"

"Yes, I have an important matter to report to Mr. Forrester," Samuel Sutton said, glancing at the man beside him.

Julian Forrester nodded slightly. "Let’s go to the study."

Then he looked at Sienna Everett. "You go rest first?"

Sienna Everett hummed in agreement and raised a hand to touch her neck, which felt a little itchy.

In the car earlier, Julian Forrester had noticed her touching her neck from time to time. He couldn’t help but ask, "What’s wrong?"

Sienna Everett frowned in annoyance, her fair cheeks puffing out slightly. "It just feels a little itchy."

Julian Forrester’s gaze dropped to look, and in the next second, his eyes tightened abruptly.

On the girl’s fair neck, a patch of skin was red and swollen.

Sienna Everett noticed his strange reaction and was just about to ask what was wrong when she caught sight of her own arm. Red patches had appeared on her smooth, fair skin. It was a little numb and a little itchy.

’I really want to scratch it.’

The same was on her other arm.

It looked a little scary.

Even Sienna Everett herself was a bit frightened. She murmured, "Am I... sick?"

Just as she was reeling in shock, a hand suddenly took hers, enveloping it in its warm palm.

Sienna Everett froze and tried to pull her hand away, her eyes shimmering and wet. "Don’t touch me yet. I don’t know what’s wrong."

’What if it’s contagious...’

But Julian Forrester pulled her directly into his arms, patting her back soothingly. "It’s okay, Sienna. Don’t be afraid. We’ll go to the hospital right now."

Then he looked at Samuel Sutton, his expression turning sharp and cold, a storm brewing in his eyes. "Get to the hospital immediately. Have them bring in all the best specialists!"

Samuel Sutton froze for a second, then immediately nodded. "Yes!"

’No matter how important the work was, it couldn’t be reported now. In Mr. Forrester’s eyes, nothing was more important than Miss Everett.’

「Fifteen minutes later, at the hospital entrance.」

The nurse on duty noticed something strange. In the middle of the night, why were specialists and doctors who had already gone home for the day rushing back?

Even the hospital director had hurried back.

The director, dressed in a white coat, led a large group of leading experts as they hurried toward the hospital entrance to greet someone.

’Is... some VIP coming for treatment?’
