Chapter 805: Chapter 805 - Our mate is in this pack. Let’s go find him!

Kael frowned, immediately concerned by her sudden change of mood. "Where?"

"To my suite," she answered, struggling to find the right words to explain what had happened.

Kael studied her expression, clearly worried that he had done something wrong. Seeing his concern, Jasmine decided there was no point in hiding the truth.

"I think my period just started."

"Ahhh."

Kael sighed with relief, finally understanding why she had pulled away. He had momentarily worried that she had changed her mind about being with him.

"Then let’s go to my suite. I’ll get you some sanitary towels."

Jasmine shook her head, giving him a look that suggested she wasn’t particularly interested in that arrangement.

"If you want us to be together, then let’s go to mine."

Kael immediately disagreed. "Since we’ve decided to give each other a chance, my room is more convenient. Besides, I have a surprise for you."

Jasmine hesitated, feeling slightly uncomfortable about staying in his room while dealing with her period. However, she didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, especially when Kael seemed so determined to take care of her.

"All right. Your suite it is."

Kael slipped his arms around her waist and began leading her away, looking far too pleased with himself as he brought up another subject.

"You should start thinking about moving in with me."

Jasmine didn’t respond immediately, and her silence made him a little uneasy. He glanced at her, wondering whether she was uncomfortable with the suggestion or simply hadn’t considered it yet.

"Or would you rather we move into yours?"

Jasmine suddenly shook her head. "No, yours is bigger. We’ll move into yours."

Betas were entitled to two-bedroom suites because their mates were expected to move in with them, whereas single she-wolves, regardless of their positions within the pack, were generally given one-bedroom suites. Most she-wolves eventually moved into their husbands’ homes, particularly when the mate bond wasn’t involved in the relationship.

Although Jasmine had visited Kael’s suite before, this time, walking through the door felt entirely different. She wasn’t there on an ordinary visit, and the possibility of eventually making the place her home made her look at everything with fresh eyes.

The first thing she noticed was the furniture, followed by the paintings decorating the walls. There were several of them, and she immediately recognized the little artist responsible for creating them.

"Espe did these?"

She stared at the paintings in surprise, genuinely impressed by the little girl’s work.

Kael nodded, following her gaze toward the walls. "Yeah. She drew all of them from memory. But hey, let me get you those sanitary towels first."

Jasmine smiled at the thought of Esperanza taking the time to paint so many pictures for her, especially when the little girl had managed to remember enough details to recreate them so beautifully. She then went to freshen up, while Kael took care of getting everything she needed.

Afterward, she returned to the bedroom and lay down on Kael’s bed for the first time, allowing herself to relax against the comfortable mattress.

His scent surrounded her, making the unfamiliar room feel surprisingly comforting, and she was just beginning to enjoy the peaceful moment when an authoritative voice suddenly rang through her mind.

’Do you always sleep this much? I’m getting bored here.’

Jasmine’s eyes flew open, and she immediately sat upright, looking around the room in confusion.

"Who’s there?"

She glanced toward the bedroom door, then around the room, wondering whether someone had entered without her noticing. Kael wasn’t there, and she was certain she hadn’t heard anyone come in.

For a moment, she even wondered whether she was imagining things, especially after everything that had happened over the past few days.

Then the voice came again, sounding rather annoyed. ’Stop looking around like you’ve lost your mind. I’m right here.’

Jasmine froze. Something about the voice made her heart pound, and before she could fully understand what was happening, memories of the previous night began flooding her mind.

She remembered the strange sensations, the changes in her body, and everything that had happened since her return. Her hand slowly moved to her chest as an unfamiliar feeling spread through her, bringing with it a hope she had been almost afraid to entertain.

The scars caused by Battal had all disappeared, which was something only her wolf could do. "Who... who are you?" Jasmine asked cautiously in her mind.

Oriana had told her that the Moon Goddess would send her a new wolf, but she hadn’t given her a timeline or explained how long the process would take. From what Jasmine understood, these things usually took time, so she hadn’t expected anything to happen so soon.

It had only been a few days since Oriana told her the news, and she was still trying to come to terms with the possibility of having another wolf when the voice rang through her mind again.

’I’m Sol, your new wolf.’

Jasmine stopped breathing for a moment, her entire body going still as the words registered.

Her lips parted, but no sound came out. She stared straight ahead, almost afraid to move, desperately trying to convince herself that she hadn’t imagined what she had just heard. The possibility was simply too overwhelming for her to accept immediately, especially after everything she had been through.

Her wolf.

She had a new wolf again?

The thought sent a rush of emotions through her, and before she could stop them, tears gathered in her eyes. She pressed both hands against her chest, feeling her heart pound as she struggled to contain the happiness threatening to spill over.

’But wait... what happened to Jess?’ she asked, suddenly remembering her former wolf, the one who had been with her for as long as she could remember and whom she had considered a part of herself.

Sol’s voice softened, carrying a hint of sadness. ’She’s undergoing hibernation, and that process can last as long as a century. That’s why I was sent to you.’

Jasmine’s excitement grew even more as she processed the explanation, although a small part of her couldn’t help feeling sad about Jess. Still, knowing that Jess wasn’t gone forever brought her some comfort, and she was eager to experience what it would be like to have a wolf again.

’I want to see you!’ she exclaimed excitedly. ’Let’s go outside and shift!’

’Awesome!’ Sol responded enthusiastically. ’You’re not as boring as I thought you’d be. But first, let’s find our mate.’

’Mate?’ Jasmine repeated, her excitement suddenly faltering.

The word brought back memories of the Blood Moon Festival, along with everything that had happened there. She had no intention of being tied to another man, especially when Kael was the only person she wanted as her mate.

’Yes, silly! Our mate is in this pack. Let’s go find him!’
