AnimeMan: The 13th Princess’s Overpowered Servant
Chapter 712 Chapter : 713
Chapter : 713
Sayma pushed her glasses up. She cast a golden honeycomb barrier directly above the monster's head. She forced the solid light to press downward like a heavy ceiling.
Gargantua lost its balance . The giant beast collapsed. Its massive body crashed against the bottom of the glass trench. The impact shook the entire laboratory. A huge cloud of white dust and gray smoke plumed into the air.
The Solurius Behemoth hit the floor with a deafening thud.
The giant metal arms went limp. The rusted steel legs stopped thrashing. The monster lay perfectly flat on its back. The blindingly bright green core on its chest flickered. The toxic radiation dimmed down slightly. The slow, terrifying heartbeat sound grew very quiet.
The monster stopped moving . It looked defeated. The ultimate defense system was officially brought down to the ground.
The 13th Unit stopped their attacks. They breathed heavily.
Laxmi cheered loudly. The fire user jumped high into the air. "We did it! We actually did it! We beat the giant scrap pile!"
Zinia wiped dirt from her cheek. She grinned a wide, tough grin. "That was a great combo attack. Excellent work, everyone."
Luna rubbed her sleepy eyes. She let out a massive, dramatic yawn. "Finally. It is quiet again. I am going to find a soft piece of rubble to sleep on."
Sayma opened her notebook. She clicked her silver pen. "The primary threat is neutralized. The monster's mobility is zero. We successfully disabled the target."
Naomi sheathed her twin silver daggers. She took a deep breath. She looked over at Ken. She saw him sitting lazily on his rock. She smiled a very warm, gentle smile at him. She was very glad he was safe. She was very glad he did not get hurt.
Princess Iris lowered her silver rapier. She looked proud of her team. They conquered a legendary nightmare using pure teamwork and strategy. They did not need to destroy the entire room. They did not need to slaughter innocent people. They did it their own way.
Up in the dark observation deck, the mysterious figures watched the celebration.
They were highly impressed. The 13th Unit was a genuinely formidable faction. They possessed incredible tactical synergy. They possessed a very strong bond. They were much more dangerous than their underdog reputation suggested.
The figures looked at Ken one last time. The lazy boy was digging into his plastic bag. He pulled out a chocolate cookie. He looked oblivious to the massive victory. The figures typed a final note. They classified Ken Eliot as a mere mascot. They labeled him a statistical zero. He was harmless.
The lead figure raised his gloved hand. He waved his fingers.

The five floating magical screens vanished instantly. The soft blue light disappeared. The observation deck returned to absolute, pitch-black darkness.
The figures nodded to each other in perfect silence. Their mission was finished. They gathered all the necessary data on the Royal candidates. They saved the information to their secure network.
They took one step backward. The dark shadows swallowed their long cloaks. Their featureless white masks faded away.
They dissolved into the toxic yellow mist. They did not make a single sound. They did not leave a single footprint. They did not leave any magical residue. They vanished without an trace.
Down on the laboratory floor, Ken took a bite of his chocolate cookie.
He swallowed the sweet food. He glanced casually up at the ceiling. He felt the telepathic network vanish. He felt the invisible eyes disappear.
"The spectators left," Ken noted casually in his mind. He smiled a goofy, relaxed smile. "That means the secret cutscene is officially over. The developers got their required footage. Now we can finally move on to the treasure room. I hope this boss drops some good loot. I really want a new pair of comfortable sweatpants."
Ken drooped his shoulders. He stood up from his broken rock. He dragged his cheap shoes across the floor. Scuff. Scuff. Scuff. He walked over to join his cheering friends. The 13th Unit believed they had won the battle. They believed the monster was dead. They had no idea that the toxic nightmare was just taking a very brief, very temporary nap.
---
The giant monster lay flat on its back. The rusted steel body rested at the bottom of the deep glass trench. The underground laboratory felt very quiet for a few seconds. The loud smashing sounds finally stopped. The red emergency lights flashed on the ceiling.
Laxmi jumped high into the air. The fire user wore bright orange pants. She cheered a very loud, happy cheer. She punched her open palms together.
"We did it!" Laxmi yelled excitedly. "The giant scrap pile is down! We beat the ultimate defense system!"
Zinia wiped a smudge of dirt from her cheek. The strong earth mage grinned a wide, proud grin. She relaxed her muscular arms.
"That was a fantastic combo attack," Zinia stated proudly. "We worked together perfectly. We trapped it in the glass. We broke its knee joint. It cannot stand back up."
Sayma stood near the edge of the trench. The intelligent Vice-Captain pushed her thick glasses up the bridge of her nose. She clicked her silver pen. She opened her neat notebook.
"The tactical execution was mathematically flawless," Sayma noted politely. "The target lost its center of gravity. The structural damage to the right leg is massive. The threat is neutralized."
Naomi sheathed her twin silver daggers. The fierce vanguard leader took a long, deep breath. She wiped a drop of sweat from her forehead. She turned her head. She looked for Ken.
Ken Eliot sat on a broken piece of concrete near the wall. He wore his baggy navy blue sweatpants. His white dress shirt hung completely untucked. He sagged his shoulders as far as they could possibly go. He held a small plastic bag in his hand. He popped a green apple gummy ring into his mouth. He chewed it slowly.
Naomi smiled a very warm, gentle smile. Her green eyes looked at him with affection. She felt very glad he was safe. He did not get hurt during the chaotic battle.
"You can relax now, Ken," Naomi called out softly. She walked a few steps toward him. "The monster is defeated. The room is safe."
"I am already relaxing, Naomi," Ken replied lazily. He swallowed his candy. He let out a loud, dramatic yawn. "I am just waiting for the loot drop. The boss always drops a rare item after a big fight. I really hope it drops a new pair of comfortable socks. My socks are getting very dusty."
Luna rubbed her sleepy eyes. The gray-haired girl let out a soft yawn. "I just want to find a quiet place to sleep. This fight made too much noise."
Princess Iris lowered her silver rapier. The violet-eyed royal smiled at her team. She felt proud of them. They defeated a legendary nightmare. They used pure strategy.
But Gargantua was not done.
