Perry Yates controlled the Moon Blade, attacking the black sphere.

Although each strike sent a shower of black feathers falling, they would quickly grow back.

In the gaps between the feathers’ regrowth, Perry Yates caught a glimpse of what was inside.

Within, a naked body was curled up. White feathers continuously sprouted from it, only to turn black as they grew.

"Is the scan not done yet?"

Perry Yates urged Security Steward 001 while continuing to direct the Moon Blade’s assault.

[Name: The Angelic

Ability: Can release golden light to purify all filth in the world.

Description: The Angelic are handsome and beautiful, born warriors with benevolent hearts. They help anyone they encounter who is in trouble.

However, kindness without an edge will only bring self-harm. Betrayed by those they saved, The Angelic felt their faith had been violated. Thus, they abandoned the light and threw themselves into darkness.

Weakness: The Angelic who have fallen into darkness fear the light.]

Seeing the weakness entry, Perry Yates clicked her tongue. ’If only I’d known, I would have chosen the Twin Sunflowers before.’

Just then, the Angelic being on the ground completed its transformation.

Its once-white wings had turned black, and its body was now covered in a layer of black feathers. The same was true of its face; its white hair was replaced by black plumage, and its mouth had become beak-like.

Looking at the Executor, its aura now clearly much stronger than before, she had to admit she preferred its previous appearance.

"ROAR!"

The transformed Executor formed blades with its hands and clawed at her face. Perry Yates immediately retreated, blocking with the Moon Blade and fully activating the defensive Domain around her.

Seeing its attack blocked, the creature swept a whip-like kick against the barrier. The tremendous force sent Perry Yates flying along with her barrier, and she crashed heavily to the ground.

’Hiss... What a kick! The power... It hurts!’

’So it’s true what they say... turn evil and get ten times stronger.’

If the previous Executor was a Mage, then the current one was a powerful warrior.

At that moment, Perry Yates felt the power of the Moon Blade begin to stabilize as its turbulent energy subsided.

She glanced up at the sky and, just as she’d expected, saw that the two red moons were now incredibly faint, on the verge of disappearing.

’No, I have to finish off this bird-brain before the red moons vanish. It’ll be even more trouble to deal with after they’re gone.’

With this in mind, a colossal Moon Blade, over ten meters long and glowing with red light, appeared beside her. She ran her fingers gently across its surface, infusing it with the power of Ascension.

Instantly, the Moon Blade, once made of pure energy, became as solid as steel. Its red glow intensified, and it howled as it shot toward the Executor.

Whether it was because Perry Yates had angered it into a stupor or it was simply that confident in its own strength, the Executor made no move to dodge, meeting the Moon Blade’s attack head-on.

The moment they collided, sparks flew.

At first, the Moon Blade and the Executor were evenly matched. Gradually, however, the Executor began to retreat. Wounds appeared on its arms, from which blood, a mixture of black and gold, began to flow.

With a sickening SCHLICK, the sound of flesh being sliced open filled the air.

The Executor’s body crashed heavily to the ground and then slowly vanished, leaving behind only a pile of feathers exuding a black aura.

Perry Yates recalled her Moon Blade and couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief. ’Finally killed it.’

Looking at the Moon Blade in her hand, she thought, ’I’d better hurry up and upgrade this to four stars.’

Of all the cards Perry Yates had fused, every single one was a five-star card; the Moon Blade was the only exception.

She hadn’t chosen to use Ascension or Emperor’s Liquid for the Moon Blade’s upgrade, opting instead to have her other cards help it level up.

Given the feedback rate from so many five-star cards, the Moon Blade should be able to reach five stars before long.

Perry Yates turned and left the area. What she didn’t know was that her entire battle with the Executor had been observed by the Heavenly Eye above.

At the same time, a video of the fight was transmitted to the Executor headquarters.

Even among the Executors, there were leaders.

Inside the Executor headquarters, five Executors, each shrouded in a black aura, sat around a massive circular table.

Directly above the table was a large screen, which was displaying the scene of Perry Yates’s recent battle with the Executor.

"What are your thoughts?" the Executor in the head seat asked.

After a moment of silence among the other four, one of them spoke up. "This player is very strong. I suggest we recruit her into our ranks."

As soon as he finished, a seductive voice interjected, "Recruit her? Just like that? Based on her performance, she’s clearly a person of interest for the Main God System. Besides, she has a bright future. What reason would she have to join us?"

As she said the words "bright future," her tone was thick with sarcasm.

"Mei is right. With a performance like that, the Main God System has probably already taken notice. She might have even been placed in the successor sequence. Why would someone like that ever consider joining us? My suggestion is to kill her while her remaining cards are still under the Seal."

"Her cards are only Sealed, not gone. Five-star cards have an automatic protection function. Besides, if I’m not mistaken, the Any Door Skill Card that Roman Judd brought back was stolen from her."

At this, everyone present fell silent.

When that Any Door Skill Card was brought to them, all of them had tried to subdue it, but every single one of them was rejected without exception.

Looking back at the person’s performance on the screen, although she had only unlocked three Skill Cards, it was obvious that none of them were low-level. They might even all be five-star cards.

"Roman Judd told me before that a player had appeared with more than one five-star Skill Card. It’s very likely this is that person."

"How is that possible? A five-star Skill Card is..."

"Nothing’s impossible. I’ve studied the Any Door. It wasn’t a born five-star card. In fact, it wasn’t even a single card to begin with, but one that was created by fusing at least three other cards."
