Be Gentle, My Master
Chapter 876: Uncle VS Wu Ming Who Wins and Who Loses
With a resolve bracing for death, Baili Xia lifted her powdered fist and swung it up.
Without any surprise, Baili Xia’s fist didn’t even touch Wu Ming’s clothes before she was flung away by him.
Carried forward by inertia, Baili Xia wasn’t anticipating her foot to seemingly trip over something, sending her flying forward.
Landing hard on the grass, Baili Xia grimaced.
Fortunately, the grass here was thick, otherwise the fall would have certainly been excruciating.
Baili Xia couldn’t understand, she had only thrown one punch, so how had she ended up being thrown?
However, she knew that Wu Ming had held back this time, and the force he used to carry her forward hadn’t been very strong, otherwise, she would have been thrown seven or eight meters farther.
Lying on the ground, she turned her head to glance at Wu Ming behind her.
Wu Ming looked at her, raising his chin repeatedly, then extended his right hand, making a gesture of invitation.
Slowly, Baili Xia got up and went over.
“Could you first tell me how you threw me out so that I can die knowing?”
Wu Ming nodded, signaling Baili Xia to make another attempt.
Baili Xia knew, this time Wu Ming would let her clearly see how it happened.
So, she clenched her fists again and gradually moved to hit him in the chest.
This time, Wu Ming also demonstrated with very slow movements.
His right hand formed a palm, lifting slowly and sketching an arc in front of his chest, his wrist just deflecting Baili Xia’s punch.
Wu Ming’s right hand then lightly landed on Baili Xia’s wrist, simultaneously stepping aside, pulling her wrist along the direction of her force, sending Baili Xia charging forward once again.
This time, since the movements were slower, Baili Xia was prepared and unconsciously watched her feet as she surged forward.
Wu Ming’s right foot stretched out at that moment, placed on Baili Xia’s forward path.
Baili Xia quickly jumped over it, not tripping this time.
Turning back, she gave Wu Ming a thumbs up; this simple move clearly showed its practicality.
Seeing that Baili Xia had grasped the key of the technique, Wu Ming then gestured for Baili Xia to try and defend herself.
After Baili Xia was ready, Wu Ming slowly swung his fist forward.
…
The two practiced the same moves countless times, taking apart and putting back together, and gradually the speed increased almost to that of a real fight.
Throughout the night, Wu Ming taught Baili Xia five different defensive and countering techniques for varying situations.
The master taught well and the student was indeed smart.
Baili Xia learned to adapt one technique in multiple flexible ways.
However, she truly was exhausted from the practice.
As she was leaving, Baili Xia realized she could barely lift her legs and couldn’t even get onto the horse.
Shengxue remained fearful of Wu Ming; whenever he approached, it tried to escape.
Baili Xia really wanted to scold it harshly, this coward, thinking it was only afraid of Uncle.
Uncle… she still couldn’t help but look back at Wu Ming.
Wu Ming was so formidable, if he ever fought Uncle… tsk tsk, why did she suddenly want to see that bout?
Also, she wondered, if they truly fought, who would win and who would lose.
Wu Ming casually picked up the limp Baili Xia from the ground and gently placed her on the horseback.
Then, he also jumped up.
Shengxue was quick-witted and without needing his command, slowly began carrying Baili Xia back to the rear courtyard.
