Chapter 489: Chapter 487:Martial Spirit world.

Listening to Shulvan’s apology that was swiftly followed by his reason for disturbing my slumber, I couldn’t help but let out a long breath as my eyes slowly opened.

"Ahh... finally."

Six months. I’ve been sleeping.. or rather, hibernating for six whole months.

Now, while I would’ve liked to claim that I’d really spent all that time in unconscious bliss, enjoying fully the warmth of the beautiful women in my embrace, I still had an overexcited toddler that woke up every now and then and needed to be exhausted.

Lucky for me, I had two whole worlds to explore within my soul, so it was never a dull moment.

Naturally, with the regular interruptions from the little man, I had time to take a peek at what was happening outside, and like I thought, it was a load of nothing but pompous pricks trying to assert their dominance or superiority.

A scenario I was glad I had nothing to do with. But like always, boredom was a sickness, so I had the guys mess with the protagonist for fun. After all, I needed him close if I wanted to experience his plot properly, and boy, did I experience it.

A lot of times this guy had to put down some chosen young master of the heavens that thought him unworthy of being a grand elder’s disciple, with most of his challengers being those chosen as disciples by the other grand elders that had shown up.

And speaking of the grand elders,

"Heh! Looks like Leo is truly quite popular." I couldn’t help snickering to myself.

"Husband?" Terra’s sleepy voice cut into my thoughts.

"Hmmm? Well, if it isn’t my beautiful planet wife." A fond smile had already appeared on my face before I could even stop it as my eyes landed on the beautiful face of the voluptuous woman.

"Master? Is Lucien acting up again?" Elira asked groggily, still not bothering to open her eyes as she snuggled deeper into my embrace.

"Ughh... whose turn is it? I took the last one." Even Nyssara had gotten comfortable enough to disregard any form of regality as she lazed comfortably on top of my body.

A warmth unlike any other surged through me as I experienced one of the best moments ever.

I never knew I could enjoy doing nothing so much, but these six months of just being with these four women and the little man had been wonderful.

The only downside to the experience was that my other women still weren’t done with their transformations, so I couldn’t get the full home experience.

"Maybe not now, but surely." I was determined to just take out maybe a century or two and spend them doing nothing but indulging myself in my women.

After all my priorities have been set in order. That would be my next objective. A century might sound like a long time, but for someone to whom time was at his beck and call, a century might as well be an instant.

Done with my thoughts, I finally addressed the women,

"It’s not the kid this time; he’s still sleeping." My words successfully got their attention as they turned towards me, eyes now fully open and curious. I didn’t keep them waiting as I added swiftly, "We’ve arrived at the Martial Spirit World."

...

...

"Master." Shulvan, dramatic as ever, went down on one knee as he gave a solemn bow. "It is my greatest pleasure that you have finally come out. I hope you had a splendid time."

Honestly, I was in too much of a good mood to be bothered with anything the crimson-hooded fellow did at this point, so I just nodded whilst replying, "I did." And then I switched my attention to the others,

"Yo... you bastards missed me?"

"Not one bit." Malachi.

"I didn’t even notice you were gone." Paku.

"The silence was a welcome experience." Leo.

"I wish you’d never come out, though. I was having a blast. Now I’ll be forced to do shit I don’t want to, haaa..." Salazar.

"These bastards..." I didn’t know what I was expecting.

Maybe some formal welcome? A hug? A fist bump? We hadn’t seen each other for months and these bastards were acting like my absence was a blessing.

Sure, I was forcing them to do shit they didn’t like, but that was part of the process, wasn’t it?

"Fine... I guess I can just extend our stay within these worlds. I was thinking maybe another fifty years..."

""""NO!!!!""" I wasn’t even done with my words before they all screamed out in protest.

"Dante!! You motherfucker! You wouldn’t dare!" Malachi had already pulled out his staff, the monkey seemed ready to fight me if I repeated those words.

"Absolute. I swear on all that’s furry, I will burn this circus down to the ground if you dare." The chipmunk’s reaction was no surprise.

Even Leo and Salazar were throwing me threatening looks.

"Heh! Now, do you guys maybe want to change your responses? Did you miss me?" I asked once again, and this time,

"Dante!! Old buddy, old pal! I missed you to death!" Malachi.

"Absolute! My days! The world had been colorless and dreary without your bright presence lighting up the path." Paku.

"I guess your presence is less aggravating than your absence?" Leo.

"The Absolute. He who stands above all. Of course we would miss you. Who wouldn’t miss your VERY considerate and humble self?"

The sarcasm in Salazar’s words was clear for all to hear, but I wasn’t phased.

"Why, thank you. It’s nice to know I have such caring friends." I replied with a bright smile.

""""TCH!!!!"""" All.

"I heard that."

Amusement curled the edges of my lips as I watched them freeze like deer caught in headlights, briefly enjoying their misery before shifting my gaze to the conspicuous person in the room.

"And you, I guess this must be our first true meeting."

"Yes. I’ve heard so much about you." The confident young man replied.

"Oh. Is that so? Then I hope they’re all good things then." I sneered as I gave the guys a side glance.

"Ye..yeah... nothing bad about it." Lin tian’s nervous laughter was all the response I needed but I merely nodded at his reply, uninterested in continuing the conversation as I turned to look at the outside of the vessel where a ginormous planet had finally appeared within our view.

"Ahh... so that’s it, huh?"

"EVERYONE!!" A loud voice called out as the attention of the crowd turned up.

There, levitating like he owned the space, was a white-haired elder, hands behind his back as he addressed us,

"We shall be arriving soon, so prepare yourselves, and allow me to officially welcome you to the heart of our high planar galaxies..."

I shifted my gaze from the old man as I fixed my attention back on the magnificent planet, his words echoing within the hall,

"WELCOME TO THE MARTIAL SPIRIT WORLD."
