Claimed by the Mad Lycan King
Chapter 153: I KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW
Seara was still sleeping on the sofa when she woke up, since Zephyr didn’t dare to pick her up and didn’t have the heart to wake her up.
But Chloe was not there. Chloe returned to Ace’s house to get some rest in one of the guest bedrooms there. There was no available room in the bungalow, and there was no way in hell that she was willing to sleep on the carpet or the sofa like Zephyr did.
"Zeph?" Seara furrowed her brows when she saw Zephyr staring at her while sitting opposite her. Based on his expression alone, she knew immediately that something bad was happening, and her mind immediately thought of the worst. "Where is Zade? Did something happen to him?"
"He is fine. Don’t worry, but there are a few things that he has to handle, so he can’t come home for the time being."
Seara immediately took her phone to call Zade. She couldn’t relax until she heard Zade’s voice and he told her himself that he was all right. But then she realized that she had forgotten to charge the device, and it was dead.
"Seara." Zephyr tried to get her attention again. "Do you remember Altair?"
"That ugly Lycan?" Seara replied without even a second thought; she still remembered their conversation in the hospital and how he was so eager to kill Zade. "I don’t like him."
Zephyr grimaced.
"The feeling is mutual," Altair said suddenly from the kitchen.
The Lycan agreed to let Seara wake up on her own, instead of waking her up, and Zephyr would talk first so Seara wouldn’t be too surprised by Altair’s request.
There was a heated negotiation over the phone with Zade about this, and Altair ended up crushing the phone and throwing it in the dustbin.
Hearing Altair’s voice, Seara turned her body around to see the other Lycan sitting in the kitchen, sipping his drink, and looking at her with his electric blue eyes.
"What do you want?" Seara felt a little self-conscious about her hair. It didn’t bother her when Zephyr saw her, but Altair was a stranger to her.
Therefore, she tugged her hair subconsciously and immediately felt uncomfortable.
"There is something that I want to discuss with you. Do you want to have a walk with me?" Altair asked. He stood up and waited for Seara by the door, giving her no other choice but to follow him.
"This is not what we agreed," Zephyr protested, but apparently Seara could handle herself well enough.
"No," Seara said. "I am hungry. I want to eat first and then clean myself up."
So, instead of going to the door as Altair had wanted her to do, she stood up and walked toward the bedroom.
Seeing this, Zephyr grinned from ear to ear. "Well, you heard her."

The operation lasted five hours. When it was over and the light in the operating room had changed color, Leia stood up immediately and went to the door, waiting for Rio to come out.
She wrung her fingers nervously. She had been crying the whole night until her eyes turned red. Caspian was always beside her, and Zade was also there, but he stood slightly away from Leia, just in case his presence angered the woman again.
It was early in the morning, and they had not yet had breakfast. Nothing could have invoked their appetite at this point.
The waiting was crazy, and when Rio finally came out to inform her how the operation went, Leia immediately grabbed his arm.
"Tell me, how is he? Is he alive? Is he fine?" Leia felt like crying again.
The feeling of losing her baby girl resurfaced along with her fear of losing her baby boy. No matter how old Jeremy was, he would always be a baby for her. Her baby.
"He will be fine. He just needs to get some rest," Rio reassured Leia. He told her a few things about the operation, but she didn’t seem to listen. All she needed to know was that Jeremy was all right.
Leia was visibly shaking, and it was thanks to Caspian that she could stand straight, because without him supporting her body, she would have collapsed.
Zade, on the other hand, listened to everything from a distance and arranged for more warriors to stand guard around Jeremy’s room and the hospital.
However, it could be tricky now that they knew what the devils were capable of, especially given the limited information they had about the extent of that new capability.
Once Zade was sure everything in the hospital was under control, he left to deal with Altair.

Seara was running out of excuses not to have a walk with Altair once she finished her breakfast. Caylin was still not here, and Maisie would never come back after the betrayal she had committed.
At this moment, Seara was still clueless about what actually happened to Maisie.
"Can we walk out now?" Altair asked when Seara put down her cutlery. He was sitting right in front of her, while Ace, Zephyr, and Jazz were sitting in the living room.
"Sure." Seara tugged at her hair nervously. She didn’t want to leave, but at the same time, she wanted to know what Altair wanted to talk to her about. "Are you going to hurt me?"
Altair was taken aback by the question. "No. Why do you think I am going to hurt you?"
"Because you look like you are going to murder someone."
"Believe me, I really want to kill someone, but not you."
Seara nodded and then stood up. "Okay then."
And with that, they walked out of the bungalow, and Altair took Seara to the inner garden of the three buildings in the residence, where the three watchtowers could be seen.
"I think I know what you want me to do," Seara said as they walked slowly. Altair had to slow down his pace for her.
Altair glanced at Seara. "Enlighten me."
