"Not bad," Zhu Xiu said, his hand tightening on her waist. "So... you want to make Chou Rong your Beast Husband and live here in the future?"

His voice held a hint of danger.

Bai Wanwan’s scalp tingled. "I just think this place is great, and considering my relationship with Chou Rong... if a Super Tribe becomes my backer, why would I need to keep hiding?"

’If Chou Rong hadn’t defeated the Clan Leader of the Tiger Clan, none of this would be possible. If it meant a safe environment for Wanwan and the cubs to live, he had no objections.’

"You really think so?"

Bai Wanwan’s eyes curved with delight as she asked, lying on his chest.

"Mm. As long as you like it, it’s fine."

Bai Wanwan stared at his face for a moment, and her arms around his strong waist tightened.

She pressed her face against his chest. "Zhu Xiu, you’re wonderful."

"Wonderful? Weren’t you just worried I’d disagree?"

Bai Wanwan giggled. "But you did agree!"

She couldn’t resist leaning in and planting a soft kiss on his chin. "Zhu Xiu, I think I’m liking you more and more."

His hand on her waist tightened, and a second later, their positions were reversed.

Bai Wanwan was lying on the stone bed, the male looming over her dangerously. "Say that again."

His voice was deep and hoarse, and laced with urgency.

Her bright eyes blinked, and she gazed at him with a beaming smile. "I like you. I like you a lot!"

His kiss fell upon her.

His kisses were rarely gentle, but Bai Wanwan loved the frenzied feeling, as if he wanted to tear her apart and devour her whole.

A long while later, Zhu Xiu finally released her. He pointed to her heart and said, "Wanwan... I can tolerate you having other Beast Husbands, but in here, I must be the most important."

Bai Wanwan immediately nodded. "Important! You’re the most important."

Zhu Xiu stared at her face for a moment, unable to tell how much of what she said was true.

He closed his eyes, lay back down, and pulled her into his arms.

’Whether she was telling the truth or not, he would be entwined with her for the rest of his life. After all, she was the one who had barged into Wandering Beast City and actively provoked him time and time again.’

Zhu Xiu said no more, and Bai Wanwan closed her eyes. Soon, drowsiness washed over her again, and she gradually drifted off to sleep.

In the morning, sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating the figure sleeping soundly within.

Bai Wanwan, still half-asleep, seemed to hear some movement nearby.

Slowly opening her eyes, she saw her cubs lined up neatly, peering over the edge of the bed.

Several of her Beast Husbands were sitting in the courtyard, basking in the sun. Bai Wanwan smiled and greeted them as she passed by.

She didn’t stop, however, turning to enter the adjacent room.

The room was utterly quiet. The male’s long-limbed figure lay motionless on the stone bed.

He was completely naked, his well-defined muscles covered in wounds.

His physique was so perfect that the injuries, paradoxically, only added a kind of tragic beauty to him...
