Sun Shisan saluted with both hands and bowed deeply.

The two gatekeepers exchanged glances and laughed, "No need for that, our place is different from others; we won’t casually slaughter the remnants. As long as you work well, you’ll have food. Go on in."

Upon hearing this, the three were overjoyed and thanked them repeatedly.

However, as the three were going through the city gate, an instrument in the hand of the Molten Steel person suddenly made a noise.

"Hmm, you’re a Holy Blooder?" he looked at Red Swan in surprise.

"Yes... Is there a problem?"

The man didn’t respond, but suddenly took out an instrument and scanned Red Swan with lightning speed, leaving her unable to react.

"B-level, huh. Rare to see such high purity Holy Blood among wanderers," the man exclaimed and tapped twice on his wrist device, "I have already notified Commander Leming."

The soldier offered no explanation, leaving Red Swan and her companions completely confused, but their confusion was short-lived. Just three seconds later, a blinding electric light appeared, and a towering figure, like a celestial god, plummeted to the ground with incredible speed!

"Boom!"

A massive shockwave swept around, and Red Swan shielded her eyes from the dust. Once the gale had passed, all she could see were a pair of dragon-like eyes gazing at her amidst the dust.

"Decent purity, but too bad your cultivation is too low."

"Send her for catalysis."

With those words, the figure reached out and grabbed Red Swan effortlessly, then, accompanied by a flash of electric light, shot into the sky, disappearing from sight.

The event happened so rapidly that only when the figure had completely vanished did Sun Shisan suddenly react in agitation, "Master, what is going on! Why was she taken away?"

The soldier glanced at him coldly, "It’s none of your business, don’t ask too much. Get inside, the inhabitants will arrange work for you."

Sun Shisan stood there dazed, until the soldier frowned and, glowing with a jade-like luster, walked towards him. He suddenly snapped out of it, grabbed the rope on the ground, and pulled with all his might, but the statue didn’t budge. The soldier on the opposite side grew impatient, even murderous intent flickered in his eyes. Sun Shisan quivered and, no longer caring about the statue, stumbled and ran into the city.

"Hmph, give them a good face, and they start to forget their place," the soldier muttered, glancing at the statue thrown to the ground. He picked up his instrument and scanned it, yielding no reaction.

"Leaving trash here!" he cursed.

"Lucky for them I’m kind-hearted, if it were those like Lov, these two would be dead already."

He spoke and kicked the statue hard. The statue was surprisingly solid and heavy, causing his toes to ache painfully. This infuriated him further, but on second thought, he found it amusing; why was he getting worked up over a dead object?

Shaking his head, he called for some fellow soldiers on duty, and together they threw the "huge garbage" outside the city.

...

"Trouble never ends."

Focusing on cultivation, Chu Xiu sighed lightly.

Red Swan could be ignored, but the Blue Boy being taken couldn’t be disregarded.

He had successfully created a cultivation technique and regained peak condition by drawing the attraction of nebula. Now, with Cause and Effect Points slowly advancing, he had spare capacity to deal with outer matters.

However, he was somewhat reluctant to part with the serendipitously formed "shell" outside.

Originally in cultivation, the primary need was abundant spiritual power. Without the breathing of spiritual power, how could cultivation progress? No matter how miraculous the cultivation technique, it couldn’t breach energy conservation.

But Cause and Effect Points are incredibly special; accelerated, a day might equate to decades of cultivation. What could match this consumption in spiritual power replenishment speed?

Thus, adding Cause and Effect Points makes external energy a mere "appendage"; the main source remains the energy transformed by Cause and Effect Points themselves.

When martial artists reach innate realms, they can breathe through pores, which is only the most basic Qi training in the cultivation system. High-tier cultivators have unobstructed apertures, constantly absorbing and exhaling spiritual power. During cultivation, unless hidden on purpose, spiritual power fluctuations can transmit far and wide, which explains why ancient cultivators chose secluded places or relied on sect protection for closed-door cultivation, fearing ambushes during practice.

Cultivation with Cause and Effect Points is unequivocal "conventional" cultivation, naturally incurring spiritual power loss, but the shell formed by coincidence effectively prevents this to a degree.

If he were practicing some minor divine techniques, Chu Xiu wouldn’t mind so much about the petty savings, but the consumption for Star Formation Pill is substantial, still worth conserving when possible.

Considering this, Chu Xiu thought briefly, and his Fighting Spirit emerged.

With the power of a perfect demigod in the Fighting Spirit, Chu Xiu was absolutely confident, yet prudence dictated he first arrived at the city’s center, unfolded his divine sense, and gathered intelligence about its surroundings.

Even though he suppressed the range of his divine sense to avoid attention, it instantly enveloped a radius of three miles, immediately integrating dialogue data from tens of thousands of people into his mind.

Within a brief quarter hour, Chu Xiu gained a general understanding of the situation here and even of the entire world.

Most astonishing was... this world seemingly indeed harbored gods!

Fifty-nine years ago, Molten Steel people invaded, intending to treat this planet as merely a colony. After defeating the Clear Sky sect, they conducted routine research to avoid missing precious resources.

Unexpectedly, preliminary excavation uncovered traces revealing the existence of gods!

Thus, one exploratory ship after another came from the homeland of Molten Steel people, and over the past fifty-nine years, they erected thousands of survey camps, constructing the Melted Steel Drill above six ancient ruins where divine power most likely remain.

Molten Steel people gloriously name their colossal technology "Molten Steel". The Melted Steel Drill is indeed the towering spire in the giant city’s center!

The thousands-of-meters-tall mammoth structure is just the power supply unit for the Melted Steel Drill!

Under the impact of this colossal device, even the hardest rock strata are as fragile as tofu, and six vast ancient ruins have been uncovered. The relics found within astonishingly suggest that gods once existed on this planet!

This led Molten Steel people to fervor, further increasing their investments.

Although the survival of gods on a planet doesn’t guarantee that divine power will be discovered, it’s possible they merely stayed briefly, yet the pursuit of gods is as such: even if nine hundred ninety-nine times are fruitless, discovering relics left by gods just once will benefit the civilization immensely, definitely worthwhile!

"So this could be a random transmission to a life planet with gods?"

The probability is extremely low; Chu Xiu couldn’t accept such a coincidence. A more plausible explanation could be...

"Could this possibly be the planet Blue Boy once lived on? It somehow brought me here in a way even unknown to itself?"

It must be known Blue Boy may seem powerless now, but in his former life, he was truly a god!

If one could obtain relics left by gods...

Thinking this, even Chu Xiu’s heart couldn’t help but burn with fervor.

"In that case, Blue Boy’s importance is heightened once more."

He looked towards the towering spire; the so-called catalysis is the use of special Molten Steel technology to rapidly stimulate the potential of a Holy Blooder, similar to Blue Boy’s energy, though both the effect and risk are infinitely greater.
