Shu Feng had become Jessica’s disciple. Not only was he moving in, but he was also bringing his mother and sister to live in his teacher’s home. Normally, that was practically a death wish.

Every Mage was one of heaven’s favored. Countless people wanted to learn Magic but had no way in.

Buffy had overheard in idle chatter that many noble families paid a fortune for their children to learn Magic, but they would often just end up angering the Mages, getting sent back, and accomplishing nothing.

Buffy didn’t want her and Mina to be the ones to ruin Shu Feng’s future.

’How could I possibly refuse an order from a powerhouse like him? I’m panicking here!’

Jessica sighed inwardly and said with a deadpan expression, "I understand. Your mother and sister can come to my villa as maids."

Shu Feng said, "Thank you, Teacher!"

"Thank you, My Lady!!"

Gratitude flashed in Buffy’s eyes as she spoke with the utmost respect.

"Thank you, My Lady!"

Though Mina was still too young to understand everything, she knew Jessica was a very important person and spoke respectfully, like a little grown-up.

"Let’s go!"

Jessica turned and departed without another word.

Shu Feng and the others followed, leaving the dilapidated little hut.

Two luxurious carriages suddenly appeared before them.

Jessica boarded one of the carriages, and Shu Feng’s family boarded the other.

Suddenly, Matty’s bloodcurdling scream echoed from inside Buffy’s home. Moments later, Jessica’s butler emerged from the house and took up the role of her coachman.

The two luxurious carriages then rode smoothly out of the slums.

Cedar City was divided into three main districts: the slums, the commoner district, and the noble district. This was a common layout for many human cities in the Fiery Sun Empire.

The slums were completely lawless. The commoner district, however, was patrolled by the city watch, and the noble district had patrols day and night. The city watch was similar to the police on Blue Star, responsible for maintaining public order.

The luxurious carriages passed through the commoner district and arrived in the noble district, stopping before a magnificent villa that covered a vast area.

"So this is a Mage’s villa... It’s so huge and luxurious!"

Buffy was stunned the moment she saw Jessica’s luxurious villa. She had never seen a villa so beautiful and magnificent. It was also the first time in her life she had ever set foot in the noble district.

"Welcome home!"

As Jessica entered the villa, ten maids standing on either side immediately bowed respectfully and greeted her in unison.

"This is my disciple, Paul. From today on, he is to be considered a master of this household. This is his mother, Buffy, and his sister, Mina. They will be your new colleagues."

"Kama, go arrange their living quarters and work."

Jessica’s gaze swept over a beautiful woman, the head maid, as she spoke calmly.

Kama said, "Yes, Mistress!"

By the time Shu Feng and his family were settled in, it was noon.

"So this is white bread! It’s so soft, sweet, and delicious! I’ve never eaten anything this good before."

Mina sat at the dining table, took a bite of a piece of white bread, and her eyes lit up. She began to take large bites, her cheeks puffing out like a little squirrel’s as she let out a happy cheer.

"If you like it, have some more!"

Shu Feng smiled, picked up a piece of white bread, dipped it into the carefully prepared honey milk beside him, and took a bite.

"It’s so sweet!!"

Buffy looked at the white bread, honey milk, sausages, and eggs spread out on the small table. She took a small sip of the honey milk and felt the sweetness fill her heart. It was the first time in her entire life she had tasted something as precious and nourishing as honey.

Buffy said, "Paul, the only reason our family can live such a good life is because of your teacher, Jessica. You must never forget her kindness, do you understand?"

Shu Feng said, "Yes!"

As soon as Shu Feng settled into Jessica’s villa, he went into seclusion to practice the Fiery Sun Knight Training Method.

Jessica was a Great Mage, a rank in the Fiery Sun Empire second only to Legendary Mages. She could easily purchase many High-Level Magic Potions.

Using those Magic Potions, Shu Feng’s cultivation of the Fiery Sun Knight Training Method progressed rapidly, and his physical attributes surged every day.

「One month later.」

In the villa’s training room, Shu Feng had just completed his practice of the Fiery Sun Knight Training Method. A warm current spread throughout his body, and his sweat evaporated into a white mist that rose behind him.

With a thought, a string of data appeared before Shu Feng.

A look of satisfaction flashed in Shu Feng’s eyes. ’Not bad. With my current physical attributes, I’m ready to enter a Magic Academy and begin my Magic training.’

Jessica was a Great Mage, but she couldn’t produce a Legendary Mage. Nor did she have the resources to train one.

"Young Master Paul, Lady Jessica requests your presence in the study."

Kama, the head maid, came before Shu Feng and said respectfully.

"I understand!"

After bathing and changing, a refreshed Shu Feng made his way to the study.

Inside the study, Jessica, dressed in black, was sitting on a soft sofa. She handed a black invitation to Shu Feng.

"The Fiery Sun Empire has many Magic Academies, but the three strongest are the Fiery Sun Royal Magic Academy, the Seven-Day Tower, and the Heart of Bai Que."

"The Fiery Sun Royal Magic Academy primarily recruits the children of nobility, and the Mages it trains almost always end up serving the Royal Family. The Heart of Bai Que specializes in all forms of White Magic. The Seven-Day Tower, on the other hand, specializes in all forms of Elemental Magic."

"This is an invitation from the Seven-Day Tower. Tonight, hold this invitation, and they will come to pick you up."

Jessica said this with her usual aloof, almost deadpan, expression.

Faced with a Divine Spirit Level powerhouse like Shu Feng, the only thing Jessica could do was maintain her deadpan, aloof facade to successfully play the part of his master.

Shu Feng said, "Yes, Teacher!"

「Midnight.」

Shu Feng stood quietly outside the villa, holding the invitation to the Seven-Day Tower.

Suddenly, a thick fog began to billow out.

The sound of hooves echoed, and a jet-black carriage galloped out of the thick fog, appearing abruptly before Shu Feng.

"Invitation!"

A man dressed in black stood before the carriage. His face was pale, like a corpse’s, and he spoke with indifference.
