Chapter 715: Super Fire Talent
Chapter 715: Chapter 715: Super Fire Talent
"What is your name? Do you have a mentor in mind? If not, would you be willing to become my disciple? I can teach you a great deal of Magic knowledge for free."
Gonnes’s eyes lit up as he took the initiative to ask.
An Upper Class Magic Talent was already considered genius-level at a Magic Academy like the Seven-Day Tower. They had the potential to become a Legendary Mage. Mages would basically fight over a disciple like this.
At the Seven-Day Tower, students had to spend their own Magic Stones to purchase the powerful Magic knowledge. Being able to receive instruction from a mentor was an incredible boon.
Xuelin smiled faintly. "My name is Xuelin! I have already chosen a mentor. My mentor is Antonia!"
"A pity! Next!"
A flicker of regret passed through Gonnes’s eyes as he spoke indifferently.
As soon as Xuelin left, seven or eight outstanding young men and women immediately surrounded her, wanting to get to know her.
Celine watched Xuelin, her fists clenched tightly, a hint of envy and jealousy flashing in her beautiful eyes.
"Next!"
Shu Feng walked up to the table and placed his hand on the Crystal Ball.
The Crystal Ball instantly burst forth with an incomparably brilliant flame, as if a Fire Dragon was gestating and roaring within it.
"Superior!! A Superior Fire Magic Talent!! What is your name? Do you have a mentor in mind? If not, would you be willing to become my disciple? I can teach you a great deal of Magic knowledge for free."
The moment Gonnes saw the Crystal Ball erupt in that incomparably brilliant flame, his jaw dropped and his cool, aloof demeanor completely shattered. He cried out repeatedly.
Super Magic Talent was the very Top Level of Magic cultivation talent, the reserves for Legendary Mages. Even Legendary Mages would take the initiative to accept such a genius as a disciple.
The beautiful red-haired Female Mage said coolly, "Gonnes!! He’s a student with Superior Talent. You must report this."
The stern-faced man also said coldly, "That’s right, Gonnes. You have to report it!"
If Gonnes had snatched up a student with Upper Class talent, the higher-ups at the Seven-Day Tower wouldn’t have minded at all. After all, while students with Upper Class talent weren’t common, three or four would still appear each year.
But a genius with Superior Talent was different. They were prodigies seen once in a decade, perhaps even once in two decades. The moment one appeared, the higher-ups in the Seven-Day Tower would absolutely not let them go.
"What a shame!"
Gonnes took out a black communication disc and touched it. Streaks of black light emerged from it.
Before long, a somewhat impatient voice came from the black communication disc: "Gonnes, I’m in the middle of an experiment. If this isn’t about something important, you’re a dead man!!"
Gonnes said respectfully, "Master, a student with Super Fire Magic Talent has appeared in this year’s class. I thought it was necessary to inform you."
A delighted voice immediately came from the other side of the communication disc: "Super Fire Magic Talent! Well done, Gonnes!!"
A dozen breaths later, an old man strode in. He wore a Flame Magic Robe, had long, fiery red hair, and exuded a terrifying aura, like a humanoid flame.
At almost the exact same moment, an exquisitely beautiful Female Mage in a white Magic Robe and a gloomy old man wreathed in terrifying Negative Energy also walked in.
"The Red Flame Great Mage, the White Rose Grandmaster, and the Black Necromancer Master!! They all came!!"
"Legendary Mages! They’ve all been alerted!!"
"..."
The moment those three Mages walked into the hall, a huge commotion erupted.
The Red Flame Great Mage, the White Rose Grandmaster, and the Black Necromancer Master were the top brass of the Seven-Day Tower and some of its most powerful Legendary Mages. In their youth, they had all made renowned names for themselves in the Fiery Sun Empire.
Many Magic Families had portraits of these three Legendary Mages. They were three terrifying existences who absolutely could not be provoked.
The old man who looked like a humanoid flame fixed his gaze and said, "Ada, Xingla, this student possesses Super Fire Talent. He is the most suitable successor for me! Are you really going to fight me for him?"
The White Rose Grandmaster, Ada, smiled faintly. "Adisio, I also have a Mastery of Fire Magic. I can guide him well in his study of Flame Magic."
The Black Necromancer Master, Xingla, said coldly, "My Flame Magic may not be as good as yours, but it still surpasses that of over ninety percent of the Mages in the world. It is more than enough to guide him to the Legend rank!"
Adisio stared intently at Shu Feng, a fervent glint in his eyes. "Paul, I am the Red Flame Great Mage, Adisio, the Legendary Mage in the Seven-Day Tower with the greatest Mastery of Flame Magic. Choose me as your teacher, and I will guide you to become a Legendary Mage yourself!"
Ada smiled faintly. "I am the White Rose Grandmaster, Ada! Paul, if you choose me as your teacher, you’ll have many beautiful female seniors and have a wonderful time throughout your studies."
Xingla said indifferently, "I am the Black Necromancer Master, Xingla! Paul, as long as you take me as your master, I will give you a puppet with the combat Power of a Great Mage. I will also guide you to become a Legendary Mage."
"Great Mage Ada, Great Mage Xingla, I choose Adisio Great Mage to be my teacher."
Shu Feng said apologetically, bowing slightly to the two Legendary Mages, Ada and Xingla.
Adisio Great Mage laughed heartily. "Haha!! Good!! Excellent!!"
The two Legendary Mages, Ada and Xingla, simply turned and left the grand hall. A single student with Superior Talent wasn’t worth them tearing into each other. After all, they themselves were geniuses who possessed Super Magic Talent.
"Follow me!!"
Adisio Great Mage gave Shu Feng a very satisfied look and walked outside.
"Yes, Teacher!"
Shu Feng followed Adisio Great Mage out of the grand hall.
"Paul, he’s going to soar to the heavens in a single step!!"
"A Legendary Mage... he was actually accepted as a disciple by a Legendary Mage! He’s soared to the heavens in a single step!!"
"..."
All the young men and women present watched Shu Feng’s back, a hint of envy in everyone’s eyes. They all knew that from this day forward, Shu Feng would be completely different from them.
His status as a Direct Disciple of a Legendary Mage would allow Paul, Shu Feng’s persona, to do as he pleased within the Seven-Day Tower.
Xuelin watched Shu Feng’s back, a determined glint flashing in her beautiful eyes. ’Paul, is it? A future Legendary Mage? I will absolutely not lose to you!!’
Magic Talent was important, but hard work was just as crucial. Among the Legendary Mages of the Gulondo World, half had Superior Talent, while the other half had Upper Class Talent.
After all, the number of Mages with Upper Class Talent was over a hundred times greater than those with Superior Talent.
