Chapter 720: Magic Exchange Meet
Chapter 720: Chapter 720: Magic Exchange Meet
"Have you advanced to Advanced Mage yet?"
Adisio Great Mage sat on a sofa, looking quietly at Shu Feng as he spoke.
Students who enter the Seven-Day Tower usually take about four years just to have a chance at advancing to First Tier Mage. Many students from the Seven-Day Tower graduate without ever becoming a Second-tier Advanced Mage.
In the Magic Realm, a Tier Three Great Mage was already considered part of the elite. Many of the regular instructors at the Seven-Day Tower were only Great Mages.
In Adisio Great Mage’s view, since Shu Feng possessed a Super Fire Magic Talent, a Super Meditation Method, and access to all the magical knowledge in his library, advancing to Advanced Mage within half a year should have been no problem at all.
’I’ve already advanced to Legendary Mage! Surprise, surprise! Didn’t see that coming, did you?’
Shu Feng said, "Master, I have already advanced to Great Mage!"
A glint flashed in Adisio Great Mage’s eyes as he exclaimed in admiration, "Great Mage! Good! Good! Good! Paul, you truly are outstanding. You haven’t disappointed me!"
Back in his youth, Adisio Great Mage also possessed a Super Fire Magic Talent. Even so, it took him a full two years to cultivate to the Realm of Great Mage.
Shu Feng having advanced to Great Mage in just half a year naturally left Adisio Great Mage extremely satisfied.
"A Great Mage! Is this what Super Magic Talent is? It’s too powerful!"
Master Meida looked at Shu Feng, a flash of envy in his eyes. It had taken him eight years to cultivate from a Magic Apprentice to the Realm of Great Mage.
Adisio Great Mage said, "Since you’ve already advanced to Great Mage, you will represent our Seven-Day Tower in the upcoming Fiery Sun Empire Magic Exchange Conference."
Shu Feng said, "Yes, Master!"
The Fiery Sun Empire Magic Exchange Conference was a grand event held every three years for students from the major magic academies of the Fiery Sun Empire to compete and interact.
The allocation of the Fiery Sun Empire’s resources would change based on the competition results of each academy’s new students. Academies with good results would receive a larger share of resources, while the resources allocated to those with poor results would be reduced.
Under such a competitive system, the major magic academies were more motivated to train new students and produce more powerful mages.
Adisio Great Mage said, "Come with me. Use your strength to seize a spot."
Shu Feng said, "Yes, Master!"
Inside a large auditorium, a burly, middle-aged man in a black magic robe was giving a lecture.
"The four of you are the most outstanding students of our Seven-Day Tower. Some of you have even participated in a Magic Exchange Conference before. You should know how dangerous it is."
"At the Magic Exchange Conference, show no mercy. Do everything in your power to secure victory."
"Our Seven-Day Tower is one of the three strongest magic academies in the Fiery Sun Empire! You must place in the top three! If you don’t, all of your benefits will be cut to the minimum, and you will be required to serve the Seven-Day Tower for ten years!"
The burly, middle-aged man looked down at the four geniuses from the Seven-Day Tower below, his gaze icy.
"Rest assured, Master Mo An! Aside from the Fiery Sun Royal Magic Academy and the Heart of Bai Que, the other magic academies are all trash. I can take care of them all by myself. With me here for this Magic Exchange Conference, we will definitely take first place!"
A tall, handsome young man with long blue hair and a hint of untamable pride deep in his eyes smiled arrogantly. He was Vaughn, the current Chief Student of the Seven-Day Tower’s Magic Academy.
In the Fiery Sun Empire, besides the three major magic academies, there were countless others.
But the strength of those magic academies was simply incomparable to the three major ones. The instructors at those academies generally only had the strength of a First-level Mage; only their most outstanding elite instructors possessed the power of an Advanced Mage.
Vaughn, the Chief Student of the Seven-Day Tower’s Magic Academy, possessed the strength of a Great Mage. His power was already comparable to the headmasters and vice-headmasters of those ordinary magic academies.
Besides Vaughn, his three companions were also Advanced Mages. A lineup like theirs could easily destroy a small Magic Family.
"Mo An, drop one of them and add my disciple."
Adisio Great Mage’s voice sounded from the side.
As soon as he spoke, a trace of displeasure flashed in the eyes of Vaughn and the other three geniuses from the Seven-Day Tower. They were representing the Seven-Day Tower, and as long as they placed in the top three, they would receive a huge resource reward. However, they didn’t dare show their dissatisfaction toward Adisio Great Mage, so they just looked silently toward Master Mo An.
Master Mo An frowned slightly and asked, "Adisio, has your disciple already cultivated to Great Mage?"
Adisio Great Mage smiled faintly. "Of course. My disciple is already a Great Mage!"
"A Great Mage... he advanced to Great Mage in just half a year! Super Magic Talent is truly something to be jealous of!"
Vaughn’s expression changed slightly. He looked at Shu Feng, a trace of jealousy flashing in his gaze. He too was a recognized cultivation genius, yet it had taken him seven years to advance to Great Mage.
For Shu Feng to advance to Great Mage in half a year, such a cultivation speed was simply heaven-defying.
The other three geniuses from the Seven-Day Tower also looked at Shu Feng with a flash of jealousy in their eyes.
Master Mo An said, "Paul, since you’re already a Great Mage, you are qualified to join the exchange team. However, I still need to test your strength. As long as you can defeat any one of these four team members, you can become a part of the team."
"Alright! How about this? The four of you, my seniors, can come at me together. As long as you can defeat me as a team, I’ll admit defeat!"
Shu Feng smiled faintly, his gaze sweeping over Vaughn and the other three geniuses of the Seven-Day Tower as he spoke calmly.
Adisio Great Mage raised an eyebrow, a slight smile on his face. Shu Feng’s actions were very much to his liking. His—Adisio Great Mage’s—disciple must be the strongest of their rank.
Of course, if Shu Feng failed in his challenge against Vaughn and the other three geniuses, he would be a fool who overestimated his own abilities, unworthy of being Adisio Great Mage’s Direct Disciple.
Master Mo An gave Shu Feng a deep look and said, "Fine! Vaughn, the four of you will team up and defeat him!"
"Yes, Master Mo An!"
The four students complied, their gazes immediately fixing on Shu Feng.
Vaughn said, "Paul, a pleasure to meet you. I’m Vaughn, Chief Student of the Seven-Day Tower."
A burly man said, "Kate, Second Seat of the Seven-Day Tower."
A dignified, elegant, and beautiful mage with long pink hair smiled faintly. "Eva, Third Seat of the Seven-Day Tower."
