Flinx asked the four young adventurers to sit on the chairs surrounding the dining table. He served each of them a plastic box container with spaghetti with meatballs and toasted bread with butter on the side, as well as one cold bottle of water each. He didn’t hide the fact that it came from a spatial item since they already knew that he was a wizard.

He enjoyed the expressions of the four young men and women. Their eyes grew wide, and sweat started forming in their foreheads. Finally, they had become afraid. Where was their fear when they saw a tower suddenly appear in a place where it wasn’t there before?

“No need to be afraid. My name is Flinx, and as I’ve said, I’m a wizard. The main reason I asked you inside is that I wanted to ask about your experience as adventurers based on Ilioven.”

“We’re happy to answer all of your question sir er…Flinx, but we’re not based on Ilioven. The capital of Ilinestor is still two weeks away from here by using a fast horse. We’re based in the town of Redwine. It’s two days travel from here. We received a mission from the guild to slay monsters near the Gray Oak Village near here. It was just a few goblins,” the young man named Ogden said.

After Ogden answered that question, Flinx stopped to allow the four to eat, but he could see they were hesitant for some reason. He had already eaten, but to calm the four adventurers, he also retrieved a container with spaghetti and meatballs and started eating. When the four saw that he started eating, they finally opened the covers of their plastic boxes.

Flinx was a little proud of his spaghetti. The smell alone would entice anyone fond of Italian cooking. While they ate, he told them the name of the food they were eating and even described how the spaghetti noodles were made and the recipe for the dish.

The two girls, named Helga and Relita, were fascinated by Flinx’s description of how to cook spaghetti. That seemed to calm everyone, and soon, they were enjoying their dinner. Flinx also told them about his experiences while traveling with the merchant caravan. He was hoping that conversing with them about regular and funny situations would allow them to behave normally around him, as if he were not someone who would kill them on a moment’s notice.

Flinx realized that making them drink alcohol would best calm everyone down, so he served everyone beers that he purchased from his System Shopping Site for 10 dollars for a pack of six, and served four more boxes of deep-fried chicken with rice. As a young person, he knew how much he could eat, and he supposed that everyone his age was the same.

Soon, everyone was laughing, and thankfully, the four had the resilience of youth and started to become comfortable in Flinx’s presence. They became bold enough for them to start asking him questions.

They were extremely curious about his tower.

“It’s a spell called Galder’s Tower. Basically, whenever I need it, I will just cast it, and the tower will appear. The first time I cast it, I needed to make sure that I kept the preferred appearance of the tower in my mind so that it would appear as I envisioned it,” Flinx said to them to answer one of their questions.

“That meant that you’ll have your tower with you wherever you go!” One of the girls exclaimed, her eyes glittering.

Actually, all of them looked fascinated at Flinx’s ability to carry his house with him wherever he goes. Flinx boasted that his tower could have as many as six floor but he chose three floors since he was the only one using it. He told the four young adventurers that the first floor was the living room, dining room, and kitchen combined. The second floor was the bathroom, and the third floor was the bedroom.

He briefly led them to the second floor so they could check out the bathroom, and after they exclaimed at how magical the facilities were, simply because of the humongous tub and sink ability to produce cold and hot water, and the ability to flush down the contents of the toilet. Flinx then led them to the bedroom. There was nothing personalized in the bedroom, so he didn’t mind showing it to others. He was just really proud of his Galder’s Tower.

Flinx saw that Helga and Relita looked longingly at the bathtubs.

“If you want to bathe, you can do so, but you’ll have to use your own soap. Still, the hot water will be able to thoroughly clean your bodies. You girls can bathe first if you want, while I talk to the boys. I still have a lot of questions regarding adventuring.”

Everyone returned to the first floor so that the girls could take their bags with them to the second floor to bathe. Helga was thankful that she brought soap with her. While the ladies were bathing, Flinx continued talking with Ogden and Mervin.

He bought another six-pack of beer for 10 dollars from his system shopping site and served them to his guests. Basically, it’s a form of payment for all the information he was planning to get from them.

“Honestly, for a powerful wizard, you’re very friendly,” Ogden said after drinking deeply from his beer bottle.

“Aren’t you afraid that I’m some old wizard disguised as a young man to lure travelers such as yourselves for my own nefarious purposes?” Flinx asked the two men.

Suddenly, Ogden and Mervin looked flabbergasted and stared at Flinx. After a few seconds, Flinx laughed so hard that he almost fell from his chair.

“For a moment, you scared me!” Mervin admitted.

“Still, you have to be careful. When you knocked on my door, the first thing that came into my mind was that if it were me, I wouldn’t approach a tower that suddenly appeared. I don’t know if I’m impressed at how brave you four were or if be shocked at your naivety,” Flinx told them, and the two men actually blushed.

Flinx then learned that Olga was just 21 years old and his brother Mervin was just 19. Helga was also 21, while Relita was 20. Because of how they looked, Flinx thought that they were in their mid to late twenties. On second thought, they just came from a mission, so they were haggard and dirty. Their youth was the main reason why they acted foolishly. He told them that in the future, they shouldn’t behave recklessly if they wanted to survive.

While the women were bathing, Flinx was relentless in asking Ogden and Mervin about their lives as young adventurers. From the moment they started, their training and the missions that they had completed. Unfortunately for Flinx, since they were proud youths, most of what they said was filled with boasts. He decided to concentrate his questioning on the Adventurer Guild and the behavior of the townsfolk toward novice adventurers such as themselves.

After the two boys answered all of his questions, the girls finally arrived from the second floor. They were wearing clothing they would normally wear if they were home. Flinx just shook his head at the four adventurers' apparent lack of common sense for trusting him fully.

The two guys reluctantly went to the second floor to bathe, which made Flinx smile. When the girls joined him, he also gave them beer, and it was their turn to be questioned by him. First, though, he scolded them severely for easily trusting a stranger they met in the wild. If Flinx was truly someone intending to harm them, they actually served themselves to him.
