“Mr. Kinston, he asked about how to get to the monitoring room, he might have gone there,” the nurse said.

Monitoring room? Mabel Quinn paused for a moment. What was Kyle doing there?

But, because Mabel Quinn found a ring in the Hospital before, she’d been to the monitoring room and had seen the surveillance footage, so she knew where the monitoring room was.

So she turned around and headed towards the elevator, going to the monitoring room.

When she arrived at the monitoring room, she saw that besides the night shift staff, Kyle Kinston was indeed inside, staring at a screen and occasionally rewinding the footage.

Seeing Mabel Quinn come in, Kyle quickly stood up and walked over to her side, “Why did you come here?”

“I didn’t see you when I woke up, so I came over,” Mabel said, “And you, why are you here?”

“I’m trying to find some clues. Since your father was calling out your mother’s name before he fell into a coma, it’s very likely he saw your mother in the Hospital, which made him agitated and lose control. I thought maybe there might be clues in the Hospital’s surveillance,” Kyle said while rewinding and watching the footage again.

It was then Mabel saw clearly; the footage Kyle watched was of her father before he fell into a coma. The surveillance showed her father staggering and pushing through the people coming and going in the Hospital, desperately walking forward.

In the direction ahead of her father… was her mother there? Mabel’s gaze shifted to the area ahead of Edward Quinn in the footage, the distance wasn’t long, but beyond the frame was already out of the camera’s view.

However, within the viewfinder, Mabel didn’t find anyone resembling her mother. Besides, she had only seen a photograph of her mother, and after 30 years, people’s appearances change a lot, let alone their figures.

“Found anything?” Kyle asked.

Mabel shook her head and pointed to the wide road between the Hospital’s two buildings in the footage, “Is there footage further ahead?”

“No, I asked, but there are no cameras installed further up, this road ends here, beyond that is the parking lot, but the cameras there have been broken these past two days, the Hospital is fixing it.” In other words, there is no surveillance at the parking lot.

Mabel’s heart sank slightly; it seemed everything would remain unknown until her father woke up.

But… could it really be her mother? Could her mother have really appeared?

At this moment, Mabel’s heart was extremely uneasy; her father had searched for so many years without finding her mother, she once thought she might exist only in her imagination, but now… there seemed to be a ray of hope.

The next morning, Edward Quinn finally woke up, but the first thing he said when he saw his daughter was, “Mabel, I saw your mother, it’s Clover, it must be Clover!”
