Endless Debt

Chapter 1507 - 64: Beyond the Supreme_3

Without the Void Spirit School, the only one constantly launching offensives against himself is the Speaker.

In that withered, decaying skull, lies a manic fantasy beyond ordinary imagination. Relying on the power of Illusion Creation, the Speaker whimsically fantasizes about Holt’s splitting headache, and this effect truly manifests on Holt.

"Haha! It’s been so long since I’ve felt this way!"

The Speaker lets out a bizarre laughter. Since hiding in the Nest Core, he hasn’t fought with anyone for a long time, his body so stiff that he almost forgets how to use it.

The delusions continue, growing wildly.

Ignoring these flamboyant displays, Holt broke through the encirclement of Thunder and once again drew near the Speaker, releasing his own Secret Energy without any reservation.

Secret Energy·Amber.

This name was one Holt chose for his Secret Energy after ascending to Seeker of Glory. It’s hard to imagine that someone like him would choose such a poetic and slightly romantic name. More surprisingly, the nature of the Secret Energy perfectly aligns with the word "Amber."

The ripples of Secret Energy emit from Holt’s body, completely enveloping his domain, thoroughly encasing both the Speaker and Siti. Almost the same time as he releases his Secret Energy, both the Speaker and Siti feel a strong sense of sluggishness.

As if trapped in resin that’s gradually solidifying, their movements become extremely slow. Even a minor action like lifting a finger requires overcoming thousandfold resistance just to barely move a bit. From a layman’s perspective, they seem to be frozen in place without any change.

The flesh is fully entrapped in stasis, along with the dormant Ether, as if an Origin School Seeker of Glory has cast Prohibition and Silence here.

Siti tries to resist, but she soon discovers that it’s not Prohibition and Silence, but rather Holt’s Amber, which swallows the Ether within the environment and solidifies them into a beautiful piece of amber.

"Ah... ah..."

The Speaker tries to speak, but the amber has solidified, completely sealing him inside. Even by forcibly releasing his own Ether to resist, he only causes slight fissures. He has the ability to break free from this obstacle, but it requires extra seconds. For a young Seeker of Glory, those seconds are enough to kill the Speaker thousands of times.

Ultimately, everything around Holt comes to a standstill, as if time has frozen.

No...

Time is still flowing; it’s just that Holt forcibly immobilized all objects within his domain, creating a pseudo-effect resembling time’s halt. It’s not true stasis or stagnation; Holt merely infinitely slowed down the movement speed of objects, to the point where moving a centimeter requires unimaginable force and takes days.

To those captured by the Secret Energy, what’s the difference between this and time stasis?

Holt calmly avoided the Thunder frozen in mid-air, striding up to the Speaker. Holt is too young, and the Speaker is too old. Like a machine gunner confronting charging cavalry, before he can get close, bullets would pierce through both man and horse.

"Take your crazy ideas and go die."

While speaking, Holt punched through the Speaker’s heart. The sound amidst flesh and bones was not sticky; only the crisp collapse like breaking rotting wood.

The Speaker stood motionless in place, could feel the pain from his body, and clearly see Holt’s heavy punch. But he could only watch; he couldn’t do anything.

In a daze, the Speaker heard the crisp sound of shattering.

Holt’s Secret Energy isn’t absolutely powerful; it also has its own flaws. When Holt’s fist penetrated the Speaker’s body, correspondingly, Holt also smashed a hole in his self-created amber. Invisible fissures spread across the invisible amber, causing Ether from the Speaker to surge wildly, trying to widen the gap and escape.

Part of the Speaker’s body gained some freedom, his voice halting like a broken radio.

"This... is a strange... Secret Energy..."

Holt remained silent as the amber shattered, but this did not mean that the amber’s offensive had stopped.

The Speaker’s body is highly etherealized, yet he still possesses mortality, with flesh and blood parts like the brain, heart, and central nervous system. These essential body parts are difficult to etherealize.

The heavy punch pierced through the Speaker’s chest, causing Holt’s Ether to erode his Rectangular Soul Critical from within, devouring his flesh.

Some blood flow at normal speed while others are extremely slow. The slow-moving blood clogs the fast-moving blood within the vessels, forming lethal embolisms like dark thunder scattered throughout the Speaker’s body.

The speed of the bones is also divided into two; the upper part of the tibia moves at normal speed, but the lower part is delayed to the extreme. The Speaker struggles to stand, while under the stasis-induced speed difference, requiring no effort from Holt, inadvertently twisting off his own tibia. Like spatial displacement, such injuries continuously erupt on the Speaker’s body.

"What do you plan to do next? Imagine that you won’t die? Relying on Illusion Creation to fool yourself?"

Holt mockingly ridicules, while on the other side, Siti is under tremendous pressure, moving towards Holt. Yet she doesn’t notice that her upper body and lower body have certain speed differences, her spine being twisted and deformed by her own power.
