The Space Worm was far larger than he expected.

However, he quickly calmed down after sensing its aura.

The same realm as him and Sylvia.

Caelus grinned.

It was two against one.

The Space Worm immediately attacked.

Its massive mouth opened wide, generating a terrifying gravitational force that began dragging Caelus and Sylvia toward it. The pull was strong enough to bend light around its jaws.

Caelus countered with Spatial Flight.

He forced himself through the distorted space, curving around the gravitational pull while Sylvia launched herself from his back.

Sylvia unleashed Supernova from her Star Magic she had from the Star Queen talent against the Space Worm.

Brilliant light exploded across its enormous body, forcing the creature to recoil. The attack revealed gaps in its defenses, cracks in the strange armor that covered its surface.

The Space Worm roared.

The sound echoed through space despite the vacuum, carried by some supernatural mechanism that allowed sound to propagate where it normally could not.

It twisted its massive body through space and fired concentrated spatial attacks from multiple openings along its sides. The attacks tore through the void like invisible blades, forcing Caelus to constantly change direction.

He maneuvered through the barrage while keeping Sylvia protected.

"Hubby! Its defenses are way too thick!"

"We cannot get through it through normal methods."

Sylvia’s attacks were landing, but the damage was minimal. The Space Worm’s armor seemed to absorb most of her Supernovas.

Caelus’s eyes narrowed.

"I’ll handle that."

He closed the distance rapidly.

The moment his authority touched the Space Worm’s body, he severed the underlying concept supporting its defensive ability. The armor that had been absorbing attacks suddenly became ordinary matter.

His claws tore through the exposed section.

"Your defenses are pretty good."

Caelus grinned as he ripped a massive gash into the creature’s side.

"But unfortunately, I can cut them."

The Space Worm roared in pain and rage.

It twisted its enormous body, attempting to crush Caelus between its coils. The sheer mass of the creature was enough to generate its own gravitational field.

Sylvia struck from the opposite direction.

Her attack slammed into the creature’s flank, forcing it to divide its attention. The Space Worm could not surround Caelus without exposing itself to Sylvia.

The two began coordinating naturally.

Caelus repeatedly opened weaknesses using his Ender power, while Sylvia exploited every opening with overwhelming stellar attacks. The damage accumulated rapidly as they systematically dismantled the creature’s defenses.

The Space Worm thrashed through the void.

It attempted to crush them with its enormous body. It tried to swallow them whole. It fired spatial attacks from every opening along its surface.

But his dragon body gave Caelus enough mobility to remain out of its most dangerous attacks, and Sylvia’s speed kept the creature’s attention divided.

Eventually, the Space Worm’s movements became sluggish.

Too much damage had accumulated.

Caelus saw his opportunity.

"Sylvia! Together!"

Sylvia nodded.

They unleashed their strongest attacks simultaneously.

Caelus tore through the worm’s remaining defenses with his Origin Lock, ripping apart the concepts that held its body together. Sylvia poured her destructive power into the exposed interior, causing devastating damage throughout its enormous form.

The Space Worm struggled for a final counterattack.

Caelus moved directly toward its head.

A massive attack cleaved through its body.

The enormous Space Worm’s aura collapsed.

Its gigantic corpse drifted silently through space, no longer possessing any life.

Caelus and Sylvia floated beside the corpse.

Both of them were slightly surprised that their first battle against an equal-rank creature in the starry sky had ended so quickly.

Then an extraction notification appeared before both of them.

[Would you like to extract the remaining power of the defeated Space Worm?]

Caelus and Sylvia immediately chose to extract it.

Sylvia received the exact same reward.

Both of them were taken aback by the unexpected bonus.

Caelus looked at the notification for a moment before smiling.

"Not bad."

Sylvia laughed softly.

"If there are more of these things, we should hunt them."

Caelus nodded in agreement.

The journey continued without further interruptions.

Caelus and Sylvia traveled through the endless expanse of space, occasionally spotting distant celestial phenomena that most people would never witness. Nebulae painted the void with brilliant colors, and ancient stars burned with light that had traveled for millions of years.

Three days passed quickly.

Eventually, a planet appeared in the distance.

The Heavenly Spirit World.

Caelus slowed his flight as they approached. The planet was enormous, surrounded by strange golden clouds that seemed to radiate divine energy. Multiple moons orbited around it, each one carved with elaborate symbols that glowed faintly against the darkness of space.

"So this is where the Heavenly Faction operates."

Sylvia studied the planet with genuine curiosity.

"It looks... how do I say it... very pretentious?"

Caelus laughed.

"Very pretentious."

They descended toward the planet’s surface.

Meanwhile, within the Heavenly Spirit World itself, two figures stood inside an elaborate chamber.

Both of them were Celestial Gooses.

Their feathers shimmered with divine light, and their robes were woven from materials that seemed to contain condensed starlight. They spoke to each other in hushed tones, clearly concerned about something.

"The people we sent into the Tier 2 Expanse still haven’t returned."

The first goose paced nervously across the chamber floor.

"We cannot contact them either. Every attempt at communication has failed."

The second goose folded his wings behind his back.

"You think something happened to them?"

"Most likely."

The first goose stopped pacing and turned toward his companion.

"But let us wait and see. The Star King’s inheritance is not something that can be easily obtained. Perhaps they are simply taking longer than expected."

The second goose nodded slowly.

"We should wait for a week before going to investigate."

"Agreed."

The first goose’s expression became serious.

"And we cannot let the Lords above know of this. If word gets out that we sent people after the inheritance without authorization, we will be in trouble."

The second goose nodded again.

"Understood. We will keep this between ourselves for now."

Neither of them realized that the people they had sent were already dead.

Neither of them realized that the inheritance had already been claimed.

And neither of them realized that the two people who had killed their subordinates and taken the inheritance were currently descending toward their planet.
