Fairy Tail: I Don't Want to Be the President
Chapter 1105 440: Mirajane·Wolf
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Three explosions echoed through the sky, and thousands of soldiers plummeted to the ground.
Natsu's fist was still burning with flames as he excitedly said, "Hapi, the next one!"
"Aye!"
Gajeel's arm maintained its Iron Sword form, "Don't lose to the Fire Dragon's cat, Li Li!"
Li Li laughed, "War isn't a contest, but comparing results is no problem."
Laxus turned his head to Carla, "Are you hurt?"
Carla nodded, "No, I've been training well."
The three pairs of partners each rushed toward their next target.
"Damn it!" Agir heard the commotion behind him, his face growing increasingly grim.
Vahl momentarily withdrew his admiring gaze, turned back for a look, and commented:
"Using this big guy to distract us and then sending squads to attack the rear, not bad."
Vahl admired the person who set up this tactic because he also liked such tactics.
The original plan was for Agir to cause a ruckus in the sky while he led a team to strike directly at the enemy's heartland.
Now, the opponent used a similar tactic, making him feel like he'd met a worthy adversary.
Do the people of Ishujal actually use their brains in war?
Brantish didn't really want to think and directly asked, "What do we do next?"
The flying ship not caught in the attack executed the previous command and opened fire.
The target, of course, was the most conspicuous one.
Dozens of main cannons fired simultaneously at the Hex-Tech Sub-Dragon.
Bright magical beams tore through the night sky, shooting at the Hex-Tech Sub-Dragon from different angles.
The Hex-Tech Sub-Dragon made an evasive maneuver but quickly flew back, spitting Dragon Breath to confront the cannons head-on.
Not only that, but it deliberately spread its wings to block all the cannon shots that should have missed him.
BOOM!!! Bang! Bang!
Amidst the violent explosion sounds, accompanied by the relatively smaller cannon fire.
The powerful shockwaves spread out, causing the spaceship to sway and wobble.
Agir and Brantish shielded their faces with their hands as their hair and clothes fluttered in the wind.
Vahl looked at the center of the smoke as if admiring a work of art, and praised:
"As expected, just like in legends, ordinary magic poses no threat to a dragon."
Agir retorted, "Then let me handle this!"
"No, your magic isn't suitable for fighting this dragon. Let Brantish go; she only needs to catch it."
Vahl said calmly, "Meanwhile, let's deal with those little mice. Otherwise, our fleet will be doomed."
"So troublesome." Brantish complained but didn't refuse. Instead, she directly leaped off the bow of the ship.
As she began to fall, her body rapidly expanded, transforming into a Giant.
Her feet stomped on the ground, causing a massive tremor.
Many soldiers who had fallen, having just gotten up, were shaken down again.
Mira, Erza, and Kana hadn't shown themselves yet, knowing that the Hex-Tech Sub-Dragon's earlier actions were to protect them.
At this moment, Kana looked up at the towering green-haired girl and exclaimed, "A Giant Magic like the President?"
Erza said, "No, this seems to be a different kind of magic, and judging by size alone, she's bigger than the President."
"She's here to hold back the Hex-Tech Sub-Dragon," Mira remarked, as Devil Wings sprouted from her back, "Get ready, it's our turn."
Brantish's combat style was simple and straightforward. As soon as she stabilized on the ground, she swung her fist directly at the side face of the Hex-Tech Sub-Dragon.
Bang!
The peculiar sound of a fist hitting metal spread through the night sky.
The Hex-Tech Sub-Dragon wobbled, reaching out with its forepaw to grab Brantish's arm.
Brantish swiftly retracted her hand, then crossed her arms in front of her.
Because a Dragon Breath was aimed right at her.
"Ugh..." Brantish grunted as the blue-white breath pushed her sliding backward, feeling a numbing sensation in her arms.
She glanced back, nearly crashing into the fleet behind her, then turned her focus forward again, "Indeed, I can't shrink it. A close battle it is, then?"
Brantish decisively moved forward, planning to engage in close combat with the Hex-Tech Sub-Dragon, preventing it from unleashing Dragon Breath again.
On the spaceship, Vahl temporarily eased his mind, "Let's deal with those few first, then we'll come back to assist her."
Meanwhile, one ship in the team erupted into fierce flames, with many soldiers rolling frantically on the deck to escape the sea of fire.
"Ahahaha! One more hit, Fire Dragon's Roar!"
Natsu laughed arrogantly, finally able to unleash the destructive urge he'd been suppressing for a long time.
He flew in the air, full of sharp teeth and spewing fire from his mouth, in the glow of the flames looking like a real demon.
"Pesky brat, don't get too cocky!"
Agir roared, and a towering sandstorm appeared out of thin air, enveloping Natsu and Hapi.
He himself stepped up from the ship's top, leaping toward Natsu step by step.
Vahl looked at the golden light in the fleet, "Then my target is you, Thunderbolt Boy, tough luck meeting me."
At that moment, Laxus locked onto a new target, "Thunder Dragon's Roar!"
"Vortex Charging!"
ZZZZ—
The golden thunderbolt, which should have destroyed a cruiser, was sucked away like a vortex.
Laxus turned his head to see, enveloped in the golden electric light was a round person whose stature had grown taller, and face elongated.
The black coat, torn by his size change, revealed a metallic body underneath.
"A robot?"
Carla realized, "It's the Machine race mentioned in the intel!"
Laxus looked at the figure that absorbed his thunder and glowed brilliantly:
