Falling For My Alpha Stepsister (GL)

Chapter 223: I Want More Babies

  • Next Chapter

Everyone was gathered around the dining table, having breakfast before starting their day. April was dressed for work, Lulu was already in her school uniform, and Angel wore her usual ranch clothes, ready to spend the day with her fur family. Ocean, on the other hand, looked like a little cowgirl, complete with a tiny cowgirl hat that Angel had carefully placed on her head.

The little Omega was excited to follow her Alpha mommy to the ranch, where she could play with the family of cats and other animals until her big sister returned from school. As far as Ocean was concerned, spending the day with her furry friends was one of the best things in the world.

April was eating her own breakfast while helping Ocean with hers, making sure the little girl didn’t spill food all over her clothes. Knowing how easily she could turn an ordinary meal into a messy adventure, April fed her a little at a time rather than letting her handle everything herself.

Meanwhile, Angel was making funny faces at the toddler, doing everything she could to distract her into opening her mouth. Whenever Ocean burst into a giggle, her Alpha mommy would quickly take advantage of the opportunity to feed her another spoonful.

It was a familiar morning routine, and everything was going perfectly well until their first daughter asked a question that brought the entire table to a standstill.

"When am I getting another baby sister or brother?" Lulu asked.

Both parents stopped what they were doing.

Angel froze with her spoon halfway to her mouth, while April slowly turned towards their older daughter, wondering if she had heard correctly. For a moment, she genuinely thought her ears must have betrayed her. Surely, her little Alpha hadn’t just asked that question so casually over breakfast.

"Huh? What did you say?" April muttered, staring at Lulu in disbelief.

"You heard what I said, Mama. I want another baby, and I want it fast," Lulu replied confidently.

Angel pressed her lips together, desperately trying to hold back her laughter, but the amusement spreading across her face betrayed her almost immediately. Her eyes shifted towards April, who was giving her a look that clearly asked whether she had somehow put the idea into their daughter’s head.

Angel quickly shook her head, silently denying any involvement. She had absolutely no idea where Lulu had gotten such an idea.

April turned back to their little Alpha, who looked perfectly serious about the matter.

"Why do you want another baby? What about baby Ocean?" she asked, trying to understand what had brought this on.

"Angelo has two siblings, and he keeps rubbing it in my face every time we play. I promised him that I would surpass him by times two."

April’s eyes widened as she stopped moving her spoon, staring at her daughter while the meaning of those words slowly sank in. Beside her, Angel finally lost the battle against her laughter, covering her mouth as her shoulders shook.

Their little Alpha wasn’t simply asking for another sibling. She wanted three more babies just to win a competition with her best friend, and judging by the determination on her face, she had every intention of seeing it through.

"Lucy May, do you know what you’re saying right now?" Angel asked, struggling to control her laughter.

"Yes! I want an additional three, and with Ocean, that will make four babies. I will surpass Angelo, and it must happen before this year ends!"

Lulu delivered her declaration with such seriousness that Angel had to look away, afraid she would burst out laughing again.

"That is a lot of work. This is so hilarious," she managed to say.

"It’s not funny, Mommy. I really am serious here," Lulu protested, clearly displeased that her parents weren’t treating her request with the importance it deserved.

April finally found her voice, although she was still struggling to believe what she was hearing.

"Obviously, it’s not a lot of work for you or your mommy, but it will be for me. I’m the one who has to carry the three babies in my belly for months!"

Lulu immediately brightened, as though she had already prepared a solution to that particular problem.

"I can help you! My tummy is available, Mommy’s belly is available, and even Ocean can volunteer. I just want my three babies!"

April pressed her lips together, fighting the urge to laugh at the absurdity of the conversation. She glanced at Angel, who was still struggling to contain her amusement, before looking back at their daughter.

"Lulu, do you know how babies are made?" April asked carefully.

"Yes, I know. Angelo told me."

Both women exchanged a look.

"His parents do it all the time. All it takes to make a baby is kissing. That’s what his mother, Sabrina, told him. You two have kissed a lot. This morning, you kissed like five times, yesterday the total was fourteen kisses, and that’s not even counting all the other kisses. I should be having like a million babies right now!"

Lulu spoke with the confidence of a serious scholar presenting the results of an important research project. She even seemed pleased with herself for keeping such accurate records of her parents’ affection.

Angel stared at her daughter, momentarily speechless, before turning towards April with a mischievous smile.

"Yeah, Mama, where are the babies?"

April shot her wife a look, but Angel was already struggling to contain another fit of laughter.

The two women honestly had no idea where to begin. Their daughter had apparently been keeping track of every kiss they shared, calculating the number of babies she believed should have arrived by now. And now, she was demanding three more before the year ended, all because she had made a promise to Angelo.

The most ridiculous part was that April and Angel had already agreed that two children were enough for them. Well, it had mostly been April’s decision, and Angel had accepted it.

At least, that had been the plan.

Now, their first daughter was confidently trying to increase the size of their family for the sake of a competition neither parent had known existed.

April took a deep breath, deciding the best way to handle the situation was to avoid making any promises she couldn’t keep.

"Alright, Lulu. Your mommy and I will have a private discussion, and we’ll see if we can give you more babies. But I can’t guarantee you’ll be getting all three this year."

Lulu considered her mother’s answer before nodding, seemingly satisfied with the arrangement.

"That is fine by me. I’ll find a way to extend my bet with Angelo. I expect to have more babies next year, then."

With that settled, the little Alpha climbed down from her chair as though she had just concluded an important business meeting. She grabbed her school bag and slung it over her shoulder before looking towards Angel.

"Mommy, I’m ready for school."

"Okay, I will meet you on the way," Angel replied.

Lulu nodded and headed straight for the door, making her way towards her mommy’s Jeep without giving the matter another thought.

April remained seated, staring at the door through which their daughter had just disappeared.

"Wow..." she muttered.

Angel watched her wife’s bewildered expression, unable to resist another tease.

"I wonder who she takes after."

April slowly turned towards her Alpha, giving her a look that made the answer obvious.

"Who do you think?"

Angel grinned but wisely decided not to argue. Instead, she returned her attention to Ocean, who was still happily eating her breakfast, completely unaware that her big sister had just demanded three more siblings.

"Alright, I’ll go drop the girl off and come back for Ocean," Angel announced, standing up and reaching for her keys.

"Okay, I’ll be waiting," April replied.

Angel quickly made her way out of the house, knowing there was no point in wasting time. Lulu would never agree to wait for Ocean to finish eating, especially when her little sister loved taking her sweet time with every meal. By the time Ocean finally finished her breakfast, Lulu would already be at school, and Angel had no intention of making their first daughter wait around for that long.
