Fated love: the unwanted bride
Chapter 2530: Haven’t Touched a Woman in Months
The sound of water echoed in the bathroom.
Will Caddel stood in front of the sofa, breathed a sigh of relief, furrowed his brows, and tidied up the mess on the sofa.
He then made a phone call, probably to the event’s service staff, to ask them to bring over a set of clothes.
The service staff was quite quick; Jasmine Yale hadn’t come out yet when the clothes arrived. It was a simple set of everyday attire, a blue striped shirt and light-colored jeans, along with a pair of white flat shoes.
Will Caddel was quite satisfied and hung the clothes on the hanger, waiting for her to come out.
The water in the bathroom continued to splash, Jasmine Yale kept her eyes closed while showering, the hot water contrasting with the cold rainwater, making her feel that calmness was bliss.
Things are great as they are now.
Ordinary things of the past now seemed so precious to her.
The shower gel in the bathroom smelled nice, a faint jasmine scent; she rubbed it into her palms, soothing her body and mind.
The love marks on her neck and chest were still there, no matter how much she washed, they wouldn’t fade.
Sylvan Cheney had kissed her with great force.
Well, Erin Janus has been pregnant for several months, and he probably hasn’t been with a woman for months either.
Gradually, her body warmed up.
Jasmine Yale knocked on the door: "CEO Caddel, are there clothes?"
"Yes, you can come out and get them; I’ll step out first."
"Okay."
Soon Jasmine Yale heard the door close.
Jasmine Yale then wrapped herself in a towel, exhaled deeply, and grabbed the clothes prepared by Will Caddel from the hanger.
The collar of the shirt was high enough to cover all the love marks on her neck, and the pants were also her favorite jeans.
Soon, she dressed and dried her hair.
She looked at her flushed reflection in the mirror, finally satisfied, she patted her cheek lightly, her lips slightly curving upwards.
She liked this version of Jasmine Yale.
She neatly tied her hair with a hairband, opened the door, and as she looked up, she saw Will Caddel standing not far away in the corridor with crossed legs.
His eyes were closed, leaning against the wall, deep in thought, the look on his face was profound.
The corridor was so quiet that he could close his eyes and rest.
Jasmine Yale stood at the door and called him, "CEO Caddel."
Will Caddel opened his eyes and turned to look.
From his angle, he could see a fresh, clean, vibrant Jasmine Yale, completely contrasting with the resolute Jasmine who had just walked in the rain, looking somewhat disheveled.
He smiled slightly, "Finished washing?"
"Mm." She nodded, "Should we go home now?"
"Yes, we can," Will Caddel nodded, "I was about to leave anyway. There’s a bidding conference tomorrow."
He said this while standing up and walking toward Jasmine Yale.
"CEO Caddel, thank you, thank you for reaching out when I was trying to be strong."
"I’m glad you were willing to accept help, I was afraid you wouldn’t, that would’ve been quite embarrassing for me."
Jasmine Yale chuckled, dimples faintly appearing at the corners of her lips.
"Let’s go, I’ll call the driver."
"Why haven’t you changed your clothes, aren’t you cold?" Jasmine Yale looked at him.
"I’m alright, it’s not cold in this season, and the clothes are almost dry. Being in the rain just sobered me up, otherwise, my head would hurt."
"I have sober-up tea at home, it works really well, my aunt makes it, I’ll bring some for you next time, it’s not anything rare."
"Sounds good, as long as you’re not bribing me," Will Caddel laughed.
