Fated love: the unwanted bride
Chapter 2659: We Will Go to Sinkapore
"I have already seen his true nature and intentions, you don’t need to remind me anymore, I’m aware of it." She looked down, playing with Little Clementine.
"If he hadn’t come to cause trouble today, would you have realized it?"
Jasmine Yale was silent, not saying a word, only after a while did she slowly respond, "I know my judgment is poor, you don’t need to remind me repeatedly."
"If I hadn’t asked someone to send him a message today to make him come over, you might not have realized what he’s like even in three or five years." Sylvan Cheney’s expression was indifferent.
Jasmine Yale was startled, her brows furrowed as she stared directly at him, "You had someone send him a message? I was wondering how he knew I was here, and coincidentally you were too."
"Don’t you think this is the quickest way to identify a person? If he had even a tiny bit of trust in you, or if his suspicious nature wasn’t so strong, he wouldn’t have imagined nonsense and said those things to you. What he said was enough to prove that he never trusted you. Moreover, he admitted that he often sneaked to your residential area, for what? Obviously, to spy. Isn’t it terrifying for a man to distrust you so much?"
Sylvan Cheney’s voice was gentle, his tone and demeanor were fairly mild.
But to Jasmine Yale, it felt very ironic.
She bit her lip, glaring at Sylvan Cheney, "Why do you keep interfering in my life again and again? I’m in my twenties, not a three-year-old child, I can handle my own affairs, even if I can’t manage them temporarily, I can learn to do it. Why do you have to interfere?"
"Your so-called handling is probably getting hurt and then avoiding it, isn’t it?"
Hit by Sylvan Cheney right in the heart, her suppressed emotions exploded, "Then it’s none of your business! You’ve already chased the people around me away, fine, thank you, leave, the farther the better!"
"Are you afraid I won’t leave?" He curled his lips, "When Erin Janus’s child is born, we will go to Sinkapore, by then, I won’t be bothered to care for you."
Little Clementine was frightened by someone’s voice, nestled on Jasmine Yale’s shoulder, crying softly.
Jasmine Yale didn’t want to argue with Sylvan Cheney, she took out tissues to wipe Little Clementine’s tears, soothing her, "There, baby, don’t cry, don’t cry."
As Little Clementine rubbed her eyes, Sylvan Cheney’s gaze fell on her face.
On the surface, Jasmine Yale was calm, but her heart was far from peaceful.
She hadn’t expected Justin Usama to be this kind of person, overly suspicious, distrusting others, and even humiliating her publicly.
On reflection, she felt a bit scared. After all, nobody could endure having untrusting eyes always watching you from the shadows.
It’s better to end it, before they establish a relationship.
Although Justin Usama was patient with children, she wasn’t willing to sacrifice herself.
Holding Little Clementine, she headed toward the outside of the mall.
The evening sunset spread across the city, everything bathed in orange hues, a very warm tone that offered comfort.
As people stepped outside, they too were tinted with a faint orange, their brows and eyes shining with a gentle glow.
The sun was setting, time continued to tick "tick tock" without pausing for anyone’s happiness or displeasure.
The streets were bustling with cars flowing like rivers and horses like dragons, with many people coming and going, most of them hurrying.
In the distant sky, the sunset was perfectly visible, dyeing the white clouds into stunning evening clouds, that bright red sun slowly sinking, disappearing below the horizon.
