Chapter 2666: Holding a Wedding in Sinkapore

Over the past half year, Jasmine Yale’s hardships have certainly been seen by her.

She couldn’t quite understand it either; Jasmine was doing well at ZR, so why did she suddenly resign? Just the day before she resigned, she was enthusiastically heading to a hotel for a cooperation talk.

She even told her that this cooperation was sure to be secured. She had done a lot of data analysis and if she succeeded, there would be a substantial bonus to be gained.

Everything seemed perfectly fine, so why did it suddenly change?

But Jasmine chose not to talk about it, and she didn’t plan on asking. Yet now, thinking about Jasmine and Little Clementine leaving, she feels a thousand reluctances.

Butler Santana did not discuss further with Jasmine, hoping she might change her mind in a few days.

She hoped Jasmine would change her mind.

Jasmine didn’t mention it anymore; instead, she seriously learned to cook with Butler Santana.

When she placed the dishes on the table, out of the corner of her eye she caught sight of the newspaper Butler Santana had left.

Jasmine pulled out the newspaper—

"Miss Alice, the daughter of James Group, and President Evan will hold their wedding and daughter’s birth ceremony next month in Sinkapore."

Wedding and birth ceremony.

No wonder there hadn’t been any news of his marriage; turns out it was to celebrate both occasions at once for double happiness.

Sinkapore... huh, Jasmine smiled; her information was faster than the media’s.

Turns out Butler Santana was looking at this news, no wonder she noticed Butler Santana’s expression seemed off.

Jasmine had known about this for some time; seeing the newspaper now, she didn’t find it surprising.

He and Erin Janus should indeed be getting married.

During this time, she had researched some data; she learned that if head amnesia symptoms show no sign of recovery within a year, the chances of recovery in this lifetime are slim to none.

At least clinical cases support this assertion.

This period, she considered many issues. She thought about asking Sylvan Cheney’s master to go to Sinkapore soon, taking Chale Cheney along, at least allowing Little Chale to meet his father.

Little Chale is already quite sensible; his wish has always been to have a mom, and now, he can have a mom.

By then, let Sylvan Cheney decide for himself whether Little Chale should stay in Lonton or Sinkapore.

This is all for the future; she wouldn’t concern herself with it anymore.

She and the Cheney Family, it is truly over.

She intends to take her daughter to a place where no one can find them, and to say "goodbye" to the past twenty years.

In the future, she will live a more ordinary life, and she won’t step back into the finance circle.

What she envisions as the most ordinary, purest life... maybe is spending time with children, which she genuinely loves.

"Mom... Mom..." Little Clementine called to her from the carpet.

Jasmine then snapped out of her thoughts, bending over to pick up Little Clementine: "What do you want?"

"Dad... Dad..." she called again.

Jasmine chuckled: "Your dad doesn’t know where he’s waiting for you; Mommy will take you to find him. He’ll surely be a kind person who will spoil Little Clementine, keep her happy, and play with her, okay?"

Little Clementine laughed carelessly.

Jasmine found this silly girl loved to laugh, kind of like she used to be, where she loved to smile, as if unaware of what worries were.

She can manage to protect Little Clementine well, to keep her always this happy.
