Fuck!!!! I'm Having The Alpha Princess's Baby.

Chapter 427: We Don’t Trust You

  • Next Chapter

Doctor Jacqueline Brown pushed the door open, stepping quietly back into the examination room, only to catch Faye and Princess wrapped up in a quiet, cozy moment together.

The two girls were kissing softly, their shoulders relaxed.

"Cough, cough..."

Jack let out a loud, sudden cough, instantly stopping the two girls right in the middle of their intimate moment.

Faye and Princess broke apart, turning their heads slowly to look at the doctor standing by the doorway.

"Okay, I see you both have talked this through... so shall we begin the plan?" Jack asked, pulling a pen out of her lab coat pocket.

Faye tilted her head, her brow knitting together tight. "The plan?"

"Yes, the plan," Jack replied, tapping the tip of her pen against the metal clip of her board. "From hospital checkups to maternity care..."

Princess stood up straight, sliding a hand into her pocket and stepping slightly in front of Faye’s seat.

"Thank you for your assistance. However, we have decided to seek care from another doctor moving forward. We no longer require your services," Princess said, her tone firm, steady, and leaving absolutely no room for negotiation.

Jack stopped clicking her pen, her eyes widening slightly in shock. "Why? I am the one in charge here..."

"I can’t trust you with my pups or future pups. You and Silviana are in cahoots, and she is not in our best interest..." Princess said, her sharp Alpha gaze staying fixed right on the doctor’s face.

Jack let out a small breath, setting her clipboard down on the counter edge. "She is my boss. She controls this hospital, and if you are still on the file, it was because she requested it using her authority..."

"Come on, let’s not play dumb, Doctor... I know you were in the room when... you injected something behind me..."

The moment those words left Princess’s mouth, the temperature inside the room seemed to drop. Realizing exactly what incident Princess was referring to, Jack raised both of her hands up slowly, attempting to explain her actions.

"Princess, you were going to kill her, and I couldn’t let that happen... I am acting in your best interest," Jack said, her voice dropping down into a quiet murmur.

"More like Silviana’s best interest..." Faye muttered from behind Princess, crossing her arms over her chest and shooting the doctor a heavy glare.

Jack turned her eyes toward Faye, defending herself. "What would you have done if someone was trying to kill the person you love? I just did the same..."

Faye threw her hands up into the air, snorting out loud. "Dude, you are a side piece... as in, a mistress... that woman is married, and you are doing her..."

Princess winced, quickly reaching back to place a soothing hand on her girlfriend’s shoulder. "Okay, babe, calm down... let’s not judge, and you can’t control love..."

She turned back to face the doctor, her expression dropping all remaining politeness.

"I don’t give a fuck if you are screwing that woman... I just want to know, are you a were-witch?" Princess asked bluntly.

"And be honest if you really meant the words ’best interest,’" Faye added, pointing her index finger straight at the doctor from behind Princess’s back.

Jack stood completely still for a long second. She let out a soft sigh, turning around to lock the examination room door securely before she looked back at the two high school girls.

"I am no were-witch," Jack began, her voice dropping so low they had to lean in to hear every word. "We are just descendants of witches, half-bloods. They call us the Dry-Born. We entered this world with nothing, no magic, no innate spark. So, our kind learned to survive. We draw our power from the Weres, or from whatever enchanted relics we can get our hands on."

Faye blinked, processing the summary in her head before nodding her head firmly. "So you are basically a were-witch."

Jack rubbed the bridge of her nose, letting out a tired breath. "No, I am not... and please don’t tell anyone, especially the council."

Faye leaned back against the counter edge, waving her hand casually through the air. "Why do you want to keep your secret? It’s cool. It’s not like you are being hunted for being some ancient Moon Wolf..."

Princess’s body instantly went rigid. She whipped her head around, glaring hard at her girlfriend. "Faye?"

Faye caught the warning look in Princess’s eyes and shrugged her shoulders quickly. "What? I’m just saying... and I was giving an example..."

Jack paid no attention to the secret meaning behind Faye’s words, her mind far too occupied with her own survival.

"Witches are not allowed to have residence here in Oakland," Jack explained, her tone completely dead serious. "According to the rules, this town only has one were-witch family, just the same as the one Alpha family. So, a witch living in Oakland is a threat to the council..."

Princess listened closely, resting her hand back against her chin. "If you did not want your secret to be exposed, you shouldn’t have told your lover. She is part of the council..."

Jack set her jaw, a strange sense of confidence filling her eyes. "I trust she will keep my secret if she wants to keep seeing me..."

Faye couldn’t hold back a scoff, letting out a sharp chuckle at the doctor’s complete faith. "You know the difference between a main chick and a side chick is that a main chick is forever, and a side chick can be replaced whenever they are bored..."

Princess turned her head again, giving Faye a sharp, dead-eye stare that could melt steel.

Faye threw her arms out wide, defending her logic. "What? You saw what Kiara did with Beam. She replaced her and even erased her..."

Princess just shook her head, completely ignoring what Faye had just said before she turned her full attention back to the physician standing by the door.

"Doctor Jacqueline, can you just dismiss us? Faye needs her nap..." Princess said smoothly.

"What the...?" Faye exclaimed, her jaw dropping open as she stared at Princess in complete shock.

Jack pressed her lips together tightly, trying her absolute best to hold back her sudden laughter after seeing the utterly betrayed expression painted across Faye’s face the second Princess said those words out loud.

The doctor quickly pulled up their files on the computer system, printed out the necessary release forms, and stamped the final paperwork to complete the entire dismissal process. Within five minutes, she handed over the envelope and officially released them from the clinic.

The second they stepped out into the hallway, Faye refused to walk another step on her own feet. She made Princess carry her all the way back to the car on her back as punishment for making her look so ridiculously childish in front of the doctor. Princess didn’t complain for a single second; she gladly scooped her girlfriend up, carrying her pig-a-back through the lobby and securing her safely into the front passenger seat.

Both girls finally got back home, after the long drive.

Faye went straight into the quiet bedroom, kicking off her shoes and falling onto the mattress to take her long-awaited nap. Meanwhile, Princess walked back into the clubhouse, pulled her gaming chair back up to the main desk, put her headphones on, and picked up her wireless controller to continue playing games with her friends for the rest of the afternoon.
