Chapter 852: Chapter 565: Heading to the Golden Sun and the Strange Scenery of the Void

After finalizing the alliance with the Golden Dragon, Austin Sage finally turned around, revealing a gentle smile to Raylo.

"Let’s go. It is a rare opportunity to be here, so let’s take a closer look at this true Sun and the existence guarding it."

Raylo suppressed the shock in his heart and nodded.

The two transformed into streams of light. Facing no further obstruction, they flew straight toward the massive white Sun.

"Humans, you may observe, but do not approach the ’Ancestral Dragon’."

Leaving these words behind, the Golden Dragon slowly closed its star-like eyes. Its colossal body sank back into a deep slumber, resembling an eternal golden mountain range.

This was a massive star in the truest sense.

It was an unimaginably colossal sphere. Billions of degrees of white heatwaves churned on its surface; every eruption of energy was potent enough to effortlessly destroy a small plane.

Yet, right on the surface of this colossal star, amidst the white Blazing Flames capable of melting anything—

A Dragon Shadow, so enormous that it nearly brought Raylo’s thoughts to a standstill, lay sleeping peacefully.

Its body had to be over a hundred thousand meters long!

The streamlined draconic form seemed like the most perfect creation in the world.

It simply lay there in the Blazing Flames of the Sun, as if resting on the most comfortable bed, allowing the terrifying energy to wash over its body.

The Ancestral Dragon!

This was the "Ancestral Dragon" the Dragon Lord had spoken of!

Austin Sage’s voice echoed in Raylo’s ears, carrying a trace of solemnity. "It is healing its wounds.

"No, it isn’t just healing. It is drawing Power from the origin of this Sun, perhaps preparing for the next potential war."

Raylo’s mind reeled in shock.

If it needed to lie on a star to heal and accumulate Power, then just how terrifying must its enemy be?

The answer was self-evident.

The two gazed silently into the void for a long time, feeling the vast and desolate aura emanating from the absolute pinnacle of life.

Eventually, Austin Sage withdrew his gaze.

"We have seen all there is to see."

He shifted his sight to the distant opposite end, toward the "Sun" radiating a domineering golden light.

"Now, it is time to take a look at our enemy," the Sage said. His tone was calm but carried a razor-sharp edge. "You said something last time: ’Know yourself and know your enemy, and you will never be defeated in a hundred battles.’ Since we are already here, we might as well visit that ’Divine Palace’ and see its true face."

Raylo’s spirit was invigorated as a surge of heroism welled up in his chest.

"Let’s go!"

Austin Sage flicked his sleeve. Taking Raylo with him, they turned into streaks of light that tore through the dark void, heading straight toward the forbidden land shrouded in Holy Light.

The void was silent, and the darkness eternal.

As Austin Sage flicked his sleeve, the surrounding space rippled with subtle folds.

With a single step, his figure flickered momentarily like faint starlight against the dark canvas, instantly reappearing in an incredibly distant location.

Every flicker was a masterful application of the Law of Space.

The endless void held no concept of time passing; only Spiritual Power kept track in silence.

About four hours later, Austin Sage, who had been flickering forward at a steady pace, stopped without warning.

He looked toward an area of dead, silent darkness diagonally ahead.

Curious, Raylo spread out his Spiritual Power but found absolutely nothing.

It was completely empty, save for a massive Meteorite roughly ten thousand meters in diameter. It rolled slowly through the void, its surface pockmarked and devoid of any signs of life.

"Sage?" Raylo sent out a questioning spiritual fluctuation.

Austin did not reply, merely watching quietly.

Just as Raylo thought he was overthinking things, his pupils suddenly shrank.

That "Meteorite"... moved.

A massive crater on the Meteorite’s surface slowly... opened!

It was an eye!

Following that, the "ground" of the Meteorite began to tear apart. Eight indescribably thick tentacles slowly extended from beneath the rock layer, flailing wildly in the dead void.

The tip of each tentacle crackled with a chilling, eerie blue electric light.

This was no Meteorite! It was clearly a terrifying Giant Beast that had disguised itself as a Meteorite to hunt in this area!

THRUM!

A terrifying World Destruction Level aura explosively expanded outward!

A Void Magical Beast!

Moreover, it was a World Destruction Level Void Magical Beast!

Raylo felt a chill shoot straight up his spine to the crown of his head.

He finally understood why every world needed a thick World Barrier to protect itself.

In the face of a predator of this Level, a world without a World Destruction Level powerhouse guarding it wouldn’t even count as an appetizer.

However, confronted with such a fierce creature, not a single ripple of emotion appeared on Austin Sage’s face.

He simply cast it a calm glance.

His spiritual fluctuation transmitted into Raylo’s mind. "A Void Predator. It relies on disguising itself as a Meteorite belt to ambush its prey.

"Kid, in the future, when you advance to the World Destruction Level and engage in Void Walking, you must be careful when encountering drifting asteroids and Meteorites. This is a common disguise for many predators.

"You must always maintain a sense of reverence toward this void."

Raylo felt somewhat moved; from his words, it seemed Lord Sage already believed he possessed the potential to advance to the World Destruction Level.

The newly awakened Void Magical Beast had clearly discovered them as well. The giant One-Eyed creature swiveled its gaze, locking onto the two "tiny specks" that had trespassed into its hunting grounds.

A greedy and tyrannical will swept over them like a tsunami.

Austin Sage, however, didn’t even bother to adopt a defensive stance.

He merely flicked his sleeve again, wrapping up Raylo’s figure.
