The concrete wharf outside the treasury vault didn’t stop shaking. The rhythmic slam of the forty corporate enforcers hitting Tae-woo’s stone shields made a low, dull thud that rattled the iron frames of the ceiling pipes, throwing down small showers of red rust into the blue glare of the open vaults.

"The line won’t drop, Jun-ho!" Tae-woo’s voice boomed through the granite archway, his massive Tier 4 elite frame leaning hard against his block of basin rock as the blue tracking arrows continued to snap against the stone face. "But the mages outside are setting up a secondary anchor! They’re trying to weld the iron main frame from the outside to wall us in!"

Jun-ho didn’t look at the stone wall. He reached down his bare left hand, his fingers closing around the cold, heavy leather strap of his duffel bag.

Right at the corner of his eye, the thin gray lines text remained steady.

"Get into the hole," Jun-ho said flatly.

He didn’t wait for a response. He stepped over the low, stone rim of the trapdoor that had just opened in the center floorboards.

The opening was narrow, three feet wide, leading down a steep, vertical stone shaft that didn’t smell like the salty river channels outside. It carried a dense, hot scent of ancient sulfur, dark incense, and the thick, suffocating weight of an unregistered demon trading loop that had been sealed since the first gate mutations.

Lilith jumped into the dark shaft right behind his boots, her movements carrying a slow, heavy grace that made the tight crimson leather of her outfit rustle loudly against the stone walls. Her exceptionally long, smooth legs cut a clean, fluid line through the low purple mist of the hole, her narrow waist twisting with a lazy, deliberate rhythm that kept her voluptuous frame wedged tight against his right hip as they slid down the smooth basalt rock.

Her wide crimson eyes glowed with an intense, burning fire in the dark, her full red lips parted into a low, breathless chuckle right against his shoulder plate.

"The passage is secure, big guy," Lilith whispered, her voice a deep, velvety purr that vibrated straight through the stone slabs of his core plate armor. Her long fingers, tipped with sharp crimson nails, locked tight around his bare arm, her palm burning hot against his cool skin.

"The legacy families don’t even have a manual log for this lower siding. I’ve kept the access codes hidden inside my private ledger since the winter floods. If the naval cutters drop their hooks on the wharf above, they’ll only find empty concrete frames."

She was leaning her entire weight flat into his ribs, her massive, half-visible chest rising and falling in quick, deep gasps against his side, her raw demon energy locking onto his presence with a fierce, submissive passion that made her skin flush a soft, hot pink color under the dim purple glare of the cave stones.

"Hey! Move your hip back, idiot!" a sharp, furious voice cut through the dark.

Eun-bi slid down the last rock slope right behind them, her heavy canvas bag slung tight across her gray flannel shirt. Her dark hair was messy, loose strands sticking to her wet forehead from the sweat of the upper vaults, but her sharp face was rigid with an intense, biting jealousy as she jammed her boot right between Lilith’s leather trousers and Jun-ho’s jeans. Her bare thigh pressed hard against his shins for stability, her fingers keeping a tight, angry grip on her trauma scissors as she gave the demon girl a cold look under her headlamp beam.

"The database log is still running the resource sync, Jun-ho," Eun-bi said, her voice dropping into that flat, quiet public-sector drawl that was thick with irritation. "If you let this rogue broker crowd the narrow track with her leather straps, the regional office will trace the mana displacement before we can even unpack the accessory."

Rea glided down the stone slope right behind her shoulder, the high-slashed silk of her black tunic parting all the way to her upper thigh to show the long, smooth line of her leg under the purple light. Her golden-blue eyes spun slowly in a lazy, dangerous circle, her full crimson lips tightening into a thin, jealous line as she wedged her own voluptuous hourglass shape tight against Jun-ho’s opposite sleeve, her wild orchid perfume cutting sharp through Lilith’s sulfur incense.

"The little nurse has a point, big guy," Rea murmured, her bare arm tracing a slow line down his forearm with a heavy, possessive friction. "The demon girl is a bit too forward with her placement. The ledger belongs to the collective detail registry, not her private collection."

Lilith let out a low, dangerous growl through her teeth, her crimson eyes flaring with a dark fire as her round hips leaned even closer into Jun-ho’s side, her large chest pressing flat against his ribs to mark her territory. "The book has already registered my soul bind, water girl. My hand is locked to his line, and the registry doesn’t check the size of the room."

Jun-ho didn’t shift his weight back from either woman. He stepped out onto the flat, dry floor of the lower dark channel, thirty meters beneath the treasury vault. The room inside was a small, circular volcanic basin built from thick blocks of ink-black basalt that were covered in a thin layer of gray ash.

In the center of the dark basin, sitting on top of an old rusted iron handcart, lay the legendary-grade core accessory they had pulled from the floorboards—the Monarch’s Torc. It was a heavy, three-inch collar made of raw black iron bands that didn’t reflect a single ray of light from their lamps, its center burning with a permanent, deep ash-gray current that hummed with a massive, unfiltered phase logic.

Jun-ho reached out his left hand, his fingers closing around the cold black iron bands. The moment his skin made contact with the matte metal, a sharp gray notification box opened across his vision, the numbers rewriting themselves in clean, unhurried characters.

[Asset Integration Complete: The Monarch’s Torc has been equipped.]

[Mana Capacity stabilized. Current Mana: 2200/6500.]

The cold river behind his ribs settled into a dense, rock-solid frequency that made the stone slabs of his plate armor feel weightless against his frame. He turned his head slowly, his dark eyes locking onto the five elite vanguards who had just slid down the shaft behind them, their wide blocks of basin rock slung over their backs like massive dark shields.

"The naval cutters are still circling the harbor mouth, Jun-ho," Tae-woo said, his broken nose twitching as he wiped the engine grease from his knuckles. "But the lower drainage channel connects straight to the outer shipping line Rea logged on the console."

"Let’s move the carts," Jun-ho said flatly.

He slung his duffel bag over his right shoulder, his fingers closing around the rough black hemp wrap of his sword as they walked together into the dark, Lilith’s long bare arm brushing slowly against his sleeve with a teasing, hot friction, while the gray text at the bottom of his eye began to map out the unregistered shipping lines leading out past the twelve-mile reef.
