The hawkish Void Lords clamored one after another, much to Simo’s satisfaction.

He knew that once the news spread, a group of old-timers wouldn’t be able to stand for it.

Even though he couldn’t defeat Bebuta himself, causing trouble for him was no problem at all.

“That’s Bebuta we’re talking about. Are you sure you want to make an enemy of him?”

“A belligerent madman.”

“Are you going to personally hand him a pretext to start a war?”

The Lords who were unwilling to provoke Bebuta voiced their objections.

Many of them had fought Bebuta before, but the outcome was always the same: a brutal beating at his hands.

When it came to Bebuta, they preferred to keep a respectful distance.

Simo glanced at the anti-war Lords with some disdain. ‘Cowards, timid as mice.’

He conveniently forgot what he himself had been like when facing Bebuta before.

This was just how Void Lords were. With their long lifespans, many things were simply not a big deal in their eyes.

Coupled with their disagreements, they often argued endlessly over a single issue.

‘Might as well discuss it. It’s not like they’re short on time.’

Li Ziyu had no idea the Void Lords were discussing whether or not to deal with him. All he knew was that he could already see the edge of the forest, which meant they would be out of it soon.

After leaving the forest, a sprawling mountain range appeared before Li Ziyu.

“Bebuta, do you know where we can find a Void Energy Crystal Ore Vein?”

Li Ziyu scratched his head. With Liu Xingxing absent, he lacked a detection Skill, making finding an ore vein a truly difficult task.

Upon hearing this, Bebuta extended a hand and pointed toward the mountains.

“Over there? In the mountains?” Li Ziyu asked casually, his gaze following the direction Bebuta was pointing.

“No, the entire mountain range is,” Bebuta said in a calm tone.

“The entire range… what did you say?” Li Ziyu first froze, then his eyes widened as he stared at Bebuta.

‘No way. The entire mountain range is a Void Energy Crystal Ore Vein?’

‘The reserves must be enormous!’

“Yes, this entire mountain range is one giant ore vein. You just need to send people to dig it out,” Bebuta said, thinking nothing of it.

To a Void Lord like him, a Void Energy Crystal Ore Vein was nothing special at all.

It was like saying to a farmer, “Wow, you’ve planted a lot of corn on this acre of land.”

The Void is a vast treasure trove, and in this trove, Void Energy Crystal Stones were the most basic of items, serving as a food source.

Void Creatures could find them just by looking around.

Simply sending Undead to mine by hand would be foolish and inefficient.

Considering he might need to return to this Void Land in the future, it was necessary for him to stockpile a batch of Void Energy Crystal Stones.

The Undead Fortress arrived at the foot of the mountain. Having already made preparations, Li Ziyu set down a Soul Base Station, deployed his buildings, and settled the Skeleton Undead.

After establishing the Soul Base Station, Li Ziyu expertly placed the Resource Station – Ore Collection Point.

The Undead began to search for ore, following the guidance of the Ore Collection Point.

It wasn’t difficult at all. After chiseling about a meter into the mountain, they found Void Energy Crystal Stones.

However, these outer-layer Void Energy Crystal Stones were not large, about the same size as the ones the Ape had shown him before.

But since they had already found Crystal Stones, all they had to do was keep digging.

More Undead, now acting as miners, entered the pits and began to toil day and night.

A continuous stream of Void Energy Crystal Stones was delivered to the Fortress’s Warehouse.

Watching the count of Void Energy Crystal Stones jump up significantly from time to time, Li Ziyu felt very satisfied.

“Bebuta, how many Void Energy Crystal Stones do we need?” Li Ziyu asked.

Bebuta described the amount, but Li Ziyu couldn’t quite understand. Bebuta was using his people’s unit of measurement, which was different from the system’s.

Previously, he could have considered killing Void Creatures to obtain an Energy Conversion Organ and an Energy Condensing Organ. But now that he had Bebuta, killing more Void Creatures felt somewhat inappropriate.

Since he had the time now, he might as well do some research. If he could unlock them this way, it would save him a lot of trouble.

The Soul Energy Collector was part of the normal Undead Technology tree, so he just needed to keep advancing his tech to get it.

Li Ziyu searched through his various Undead Technologies and found the two items.

They were quite special. He had barely researched any of the basic technologies on this path; it was a branch of tech related to Void Energy.
