Chapter 2000: Part 2: Team Frank
Nova City-Pet Shop
The Pet shop manager was in the shop. Earlier, he had sent one of the men to spy on the mysterious person.
Just as he was thinking about the person, the person walked into the pet shop like any other customer.
The Manager quickly spotted him. He stood up and invited the person to another room. Inside the room, the person revealed the information.
The Manager was truly shocked in his heart. He didn’t expect the identity of the person to be this big.
"You can go," the manager said to the person.
Hearing that, the person left the shop. His whole demeanor changed, because he understood the gravity of the situation.
His body trembled slightly as he took out the device to call the owner. When the call was connected, he told him everything.
"Appraiser Frank!"
"Then it’s going to be troublesome." The male voice sounded troubled.
After some silence, the voice spoke again.
"We cannot afford to touch him. The person behind Team Frank is the Wizard of the Silver Tower."
"Just ask our people to be low-key. We don’t know their reason for coming here. There is not even any auction happening here."
"The Silver Tower Wizard could have sent them to collect information. The local forces will definitely try to contact them."
"We cannot fulfill the quota of supplying the bodies, so we reduce our activities. I’ll answer the higher-ups." After saying that, the voice ended the call.
The manager put away the device. But his back was drenched in cold sweat when he heard about the Silver Tower.
He was glad that he didn’t offend the person to death. Otherwise, the owner would have killed him.
He then composed himself before contacting their people. He told them to reduce their activities for the time being.
There was no need to do the activities in the morning time; they could do that during the night time. He then ended the call.

Hotel
As the time passed, the members returned one after another. Hank and Old man Rock returned to the hotel, followed by Otto and Patrick.
That night, I came to the hall to discuss with them.
We were sitting opposite each other. Otto started first. He then began to explain everything.
Time passed.
I listened to Otto. Then Patrick shared his experience. Both of them worked as a team. He offered his perspective.
Then Hank and Old man Rock revealed the information.
10 minutes later,
Sigh!
A sigh escaped from my mouth. I knew the appraiser’s identity was exposed.
"Alright, I will think of some plan. You guys should take a rest first," I said to them.
Then I stood up and went back to my room.
The members stayed there and began to discuss. They too were disappointed. Otto was especially worried.
He had helped Master numerous times before, but this time he wasn’t able to collect the intel.
"Maybe we were searching in the wrong places," Otto uttered.
"We have too little information on our enemies," Patrick said from the side.
Inside my room, I sat on the sofa. I had hoped Otto would collect something new, but he didn’t find anything.
My hope was now resting on the Zero Puppet. Then I began to sleep.
The next morning, I got up earlier. I waited for the Zero Puppet to appear. Soon, a red smoke entered the room through the window.
The Zero Puppet reverted back to its black-clad armor form.
"Master," the puppet greeted me.
I nodded and went straight to the point. I asked about the intel. The Zero Puppet remained silent.
I frowned. I guess the Zero Puppet had failed for the first time.
"Master, I infiltrated the City Lord’s office. But he was not there. I waited there the whole day and night, but the City Lord didn’t come," the puppet replied.
"Did you find anything else?" I asked.
The Zero Puppet understood the question.
"I didn’t see any lifelike puppet or magic items. No one disrupted the office," the puppet replied.
I raised my eyebrows and said, "He could possibly be gone outside. You should explore the whole city first. Especially during the night time."
"The city was quiet in the daytime," I added.
The Zero Puppet agreed. Next, it changed into its red smoke form and left through the window.
Then I collected my thoughts and began to do my morning routine. The routine lasted for an hour. Then I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion to practice.
I appeared in the hall and took the super-grade mana stones. I held them in both of my palms. Next, I sat cross-legged on the ground.
I closed my eyes and began to run the Gravity Ark Mental Method. The gravity mana particles from the surroundings entered my body.
The gravity mana seeped out from the mana stones. They were extremely pure. Next, they entered the body.
I guided the mana inside the body. After circulation, the mana entered the mana core space. The gravity mana core floating inside the mana core space reacted.
It absorbed all the incoming mana.
Seeing that, I continued to repeat the process. The gravity mana continued to strengthen my mana core.
Outside
Otto, Patrick, Hank, and Old Man Rock waited for their Master to come. But seeing that it was taking a long time, they thought the Master might be practicing.
They didn’t want to waste time here, so they left the hotel and resumed their work.
This time they were going to a less populated area to find some information. But they didn’t know their activities would be monitored again.
As the time passed, the spies got the news that members of the Frank Team were exploring the city.
After facing the rejections from the hotel staff, the families behaved. They didn’t dare to offend the Silver Tower, but still they wanted their men to collect information.
They could sell this information to other cities. The fame of Appraiser Frank did not only exist inside the Magic City.
The outer territory cities had heard about him as well. Now that he was here, if the news were to reach them, then many people would visit Nova City.
