Chapter 1217: Divine Battle! (Part 2)

The scouts of the Harpist also appeared near the battlefield.

Tristram was originally lured by them, and they almost brought the candidate of the Magic Goddess Mystra too. But recently, the Magic Goddess has been fiercely at odds with the Night Goddess, because of the existence of the Shadow Weave, leading to animosity between the two goddesses. In the future, the Magic Goddess would die yet again after Shirek and Shire joined hands, causing the outbreak of the Arcane Plague incident.

In any case, there were too many messes in this land, Duncan couldn’t be bothered to clean them up anymore, so he simply smashed them and rebuilt.

“Alright.”

“As expected of Tristram, he indeed gave Velen a run for his money,” Duncan applauded silently.

Some pieces should not be moved at this time.

The dark enforcers under Duncan, whether it be the demigod witch demon Congarth, the vampire queen Bardi, or the legendary wizard Victor, all of them are actually stronger than Tristram, they just cannot be revealed yet.

Even Bardi is overwhelmingly powerful, since Chaneem has to team up with Tristram to deal with one of Am’s shadow bosses, the vampire queen – Bardi.

Yet in the chess pieces laid out by Duncan, Bardi can only be considered second-tier, usually serving by his side to lend a hand.

If it weren’t for Airenicas still hesitating, Duncan would have already activated the Slaughter Divine Son line.

One blow, one less problem.

Tristram’s dual scimitars displayed some of the flair of the Forest Goddess Melikai. Below the legendary level, there should not be anyone better at dual-wielding than him.

Clang.

Tristram’s figure suddenly rolled to dodge, and then Ice Death turned into a streak of cold light, slicing toward the shadow behind him.

A slender shadow dancer was forced out.

——Velen’s Favored (Legendary Shadow Dancer) (Five-Star Gold)!

A legendary professional.

Though divinely favored, his strength was equal to Tristram’s. He cautiously summoned a shadow, attacking Tristram from both sides. For some reason, he always felt that there was something off about this Zor Elf Ranger. Clearly not a legendary powerhouse, yet engaging him instilled a strong sense of danger.

Soon enough.

The sense of danger was validated.

In a situation where the legendary faces the non-legendary, Tristram, with just three strikes, severely injured Velen’s Favored before him, making people question if the Forest Goddess Melikai was playing on his behalf. Otherwise, how could a Zor Elf Ranger possess such otherworldly dual-sword skills?

Tristram’s whirlwind spun like a massive windmill, combined with the wild dance of a Frenzy Monk, along with the Ice Death and Flashlight, and the Frenzy ability. He forcefully made this divine-favored shadow dancer doubt his life.

“A fine ranger, why imitate the barbarian’s frenzy?”

“Come.”

“I’ll enhance you further!” Duncan ding-ed again.

Tristram is a Ranger 6, Warrior 8, Wanderer 2, Frenzy Monk 1, Barbarian 1 (total profession level 18), considered a rather versatile professional.

With such performance, it’s fair to say he could slay Balor Fire Demons.

But previously when Balor Fire Demons were regarded as formidable, after ascending as the Demon Lord of the Bottomless Abyss, Duncan suddenly realized that Balor Fire Demons were merely his personal guards.

He had dozens more flame demon personal guards like this.

Frenzy.

This was the domain law Duncan had acquired the most. With just a silent enhancement, Tristram’s frenzy became fiercer, even more savage than the original barbarians, with a hint of blood-colored shimmer in his eyes, embodying the power of wild frenzy.

Duncan didn’t enhance much, just elevated his frenzy to the level of Great Frenzy.

But to these followers of Velen, it was truly life-threatening. Tristram, with extraordinary agility, activated frenzy, displaying extraordinary physique, extraordinary power, speed bursts at top-tier, far surpassing mortal physique, and with Melikai’s dual-sword prowess akin to playing on his behalf, single-handedly forced Velen’s followers to retreat step by step.

“It’s about time to get serious,” Duncan’s eyes narrowed.

Indeed.

The next second, a shadow emerged, and Tristram groaned, his face turning pale.

He was poisoned.

More of Velen’s followers appeared in the darkness, including traces of chosen ones. Velen almost staked everything, especially after Tristram’s appearance, wanting to kill this Zor Elf.

Offering him to Spider Queen Rose might ease the relationship slightly, maybe, because currently, Tristram wasn’t that crucial.

The hard-won reversal took a nosedive.

After being poisoned, Tristram’s strength significantly decreased, covering the blade dancers as they fought and retreated. Ilaverona once aided him, and given Tristram’s disposition, he would never flee halfway.

A silver moonbeam gathered into a silver sword.

After Tristram couldn’t cope with these followers of Velen, the Gloomy Maiden Ilaverona couldn’t hold back any longer. Her incarnation appeared within the crowd, with merely a swing, she slew a legendary-level shadow dancer, splitting the figure in half and simultaneously erasing the summoned shadow.

“Alert! Alert!”

“Moonlight domain law detected!”

“Sword dance domain law detected!”

“Dance domain law detected!”

The Gloomy Maiden Ilaverona’s emergence immediately bolstered the blade dancers’ morale, along with the divine power domain enhancing their prowess. Each figure resembled nude women dancing under the moonlight, led by a three-meter-tall stunningly beautiful nude lady, instantly reversing the situation, repelling both Velen’s followers and chosen ones together.
