John prepared himself as he raised both of his hands.

The other students had already made a circle around them, giving them enough space for a battle.

Even Mike had moved further away while cheering for him. All this time, Levi was thinking about his system.

As he said that, John dashed forward. With a single step, he appeared in front of Levi and punched straight towards his head.

Levi’s upper body moved to the side, dodging the attack as he used his left elbow to strike him on the chest.

John used his left hand to catch his elbow before sweeping his right forearm towards him.

Levi had no choice but to duck as he tried to pull his left hand, but John was clutching him tightly.

He swept his leg and made Levi fall to the ground.

Just when John was about to stomp him, Levi rolled to the side and got to his feet.

’I see! This is the difference created by age.’

Levi noticed that John’s blood energy level was only nine and his mastery of Body Technique was only Minor Mastery.

That meant his strength was only increased by twenty-seven kilograms. But since he was one year older than Levi, his base strength was also higher.

This gave him the strength to match Levi.

With his Major Mastery and six-level blood energy, Levi’s strength increase was forty-eight kilograms.

That meant Levi had almost double the strength gained from his blood energy level compared to John, despite him having nine-level blood energy.

John cursed before rushing in front of Levi.

He threw another punch. This time, Levi didn’t dodge him. Instead, he punched back, using equal force to cancel the impact of his punch.

At this moment, John understood why Levi suddenly asked for a battle.

Considering he owed Levi for his Martial Art, he started throwing punches and kicks at a rapid pace.

Each punch was targeting his chest, joints, and even face. Kicks were either landing on his chest, arms, or legs.

Levi was facing them with equal strength. Without using their Martial Arts, they were going toe-to-toe with each other.

If Levi used the right hook, John would retaliate with a left. If John used a kick, Levi would retaliate with a kick of his own.

This battle didn’t have any spectacular moves, but each punch made their audience’s blood boil.

Both managed to outmaneuver the other, landing several blows on their joints and faces.

As they drew some blood, their punches became faster.

Levi had to use every bit of skill he had to dodge the fatal injuries, while John, with his superior experience, managed to block most of Levi’s attacks.

The only ones that landed were the surprise attacks.

After all, Levi wasn’t an idiot. He would take any opportunity he got to land a decisive blow.

Since they weren’t using their Martial Arts, their battle continued for hours.

The entire training hall was filled with students and teachers.

"How long has it been going on?"

"Two hours! Their blood energy level has decreased considerably, but considering they didn’t use Martial Arts, that makes a lot of sense."

"It seems like John is helping Levi deal with the side effects of a sudden spike in his blood energy level."

Ettle muttered.

A new teacher replied.

John blocked the attack, only for Levi to use his other leg to give himself momentum against John.

His body jumped, creating more weight on his knee. John’s hand was pushed back as Levi’s knee struck him on the stomach.

A certain someone felt the pain in his leg when he saw this.

’That bastard! He just likes hitting others in the leg.’

Levi pulled back his leg as John flew a few meters and fell on his back.

He released a deep breath, but then he felt the pain. During the battle, his heightened adrenaline was keeping him focused on fighting.

He gritted his teeth.

"Medics!"

One of the teachers shouted, bringing forward two nurses. One of them started treating Levi while the other treated John.

"You two!"

Just when the teacher was about to get angry, the students started clapping.

"That was awesome."

"Great fight! I love you, Levi."

"John, you got embarrassed by a junior."

"John, you did amazing."

"John, your fight was awesome."

While some students praised Levi, most of them cheered for John.

Not only because he was a good student but also because he fought a genius like Levi to a standstill.

After Levi got the identity of a genius, people tend to forget he had never fought a single battle before.

So, for those students, the fact that John was able to fight him for two hours meant John pushed himself to the limit.

In the eyes of teachers, it was exactly the opposite, especially Ettle, who came here first.

He saw how Levi improved his fighting skills during the battle. This battle not only helped him calm down his blood energy level.

It also gave him a lot of experience.

While being treated by the nurse, Levi turned towards John, who had already gotten up, and said.

John hissed.
