Chapter 5: Supportive Parents

Around five in the evening, Levi’s father returned first with Mirai.

Soon, father and son started preparing dinner while Mirai talked about every ’interesting’ thing that happened in her class.

Two hours later, his mother also returned. After they finished their dinner and put Mirai in her room, his parents took him to the training room.

"What? You want me to absorb it here?"

Levi was stunned.

Normally, he had taken Blood Energy Pills in his room.

He thought this time would be no different, but the first thing his mother told him was to take this pill in the training room in front of them.

Sera rolled her eyes and continued.

Levi didn’t know what was happening. He didn’t even care. He was constantly going through each step of the Roaring Tiger Technique.

Every time he finished each step, he would feel the blood energy rising from his blood, even if it didn’t remerge with his blood.

Among the realms of the Martial Arts and Technique, Entry was tricky, Beginner was the easiest, Minor Mastery required effort, Major Mastery required talent and effort, and Perfection required talent and effort and also luck.

That being said, one could still reach perfection with just talent and effort, but that would generally take years.

Entry Level was tricky because if one had talent, with a little bit of training, one could easily reach this level.

But if they didn’t have talent, one would need a lot of time and training to reach this level.

Beginner was harder than Entry but didn’t require much talent, only consistent effort.

Minor Mastery required even more effort unless one had clear talent. Major Mastery couldn’t be reached without talent.

So, Levi being able to reach Major Mastery meant he had both talent and hard work.

"See? I told you. Our son is always working hard. It’s your fault for not noticing it."

Sera glared at her husband, placing her hand on her hips as she spoke.

But then her expression turned to worry.

"Even with this level of mastery, without solving the problem in his soul, things wouldn’t get better."

Morgan nodded and clenched his fist.

"I just want to know how it reached Levi’s soul. Was it born with him?"

"Hopefully!"

Sera couldn’t even imagine if someone else had put this in her son’s soul.

What if it was all a part of a bigger conspiracy and her son was nothing more than a pawn?

She couldn’t accept such a fate.

Ding!

A strange voice rang in Levi’s head, but Levi ignored it. He also saw a blue box that appeared in front of him.

Texts started appearing one after another, but Levi kept ignoring them.

He knew he had entered a state of flow where he was the most productive.

With an impressive amount of blood energy still left from that pill, he wanted to continue his training.

More importantly, he had a feeling that the appearance of this thing meant he could try to improve his blood energy.

It was just a feeling, but it was true.

After this thing appeared in front of Levi, his blood energy emerged from his blood and remerged with him.

His parents held each other and watched their son train for hours. His blood was continuously releasing an impressive amount of blood energy.

This energy was the result of his training and his technique. When it was reabsorbed into the blood, it would then flow into different cells of his body.

During the process, a lot of nutrients would be absorbed. Without that pill’s energy, it would be impossible to continue this kind of training.

Because he had reached Major Mastery, every time he moved, his blood would let out a roar.

Although it didn’t have a high decibel, both of his parents were Martial Masters. They could feel the power of a Tiger within his blood.

That was the roar of a tiger, achieved after reaching Major Mastery in Roaring Tiger Strengthening Technique.

Levi trained for hours without stopping. His training covered the ground with sweat.

He was hungry, thirsty, and tired, but he continuously trained until his body finally gave up.

"Hoo!"

As his legs gave up, he fell on his butt.

At this moment, his mother took out a bag of liquid.

"This is an E-Grade Nutritional Liquid. You know this. Drink it!"

Levi tried to move his hand but realized he was too tired to even do that.

Sera rolled her eyes.

"How can you be this careless? Even if you can feel the joy of improvement, you mustn’t be careless like this again, understand?"
