Receiving the inheritance of the Ancestral God’s skill had once again saturated Su Ze’s body with Evolutionary Material, which he needed to digest as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, the production of Chlorophyll Capsules still couldn’t meet Su Ze’s demands.

It would likely take at least several more months to produce enough Chlorophyll Capsules for Su Ze to digest all the Evolutionary Material in one go.

Su Ze couldn’t just wait around. For a while, he practiced his “Dream Creation” skill and occasionally visited the surrounding Public Planets to look for suitable high-tier materials.

After becoming a Sun God, visiting those ordinary Public Planets felt completely different.

The moment he stepped onto a Public Planet, he sensed someone watching him—not an Ancestral God, but the Sun God stationed on that particular planet.

Meanwhile, those who received him were incredibly respectful.

Overall, they were both respectful and wary, but no officials from the Public Planet’s administration came forward to make contact.

Whenever he went to buy or sell something, the shopkeepers would serve him with the utmost caution. No one would dare try to set him up or pull any funny business.

This just went to show the sublime status of a Sun God in the universe. Especially on a small, ordinary Public Planet, a Sun God was the pinnacle of combat strength.

A Moon God appearing here would barely get any attention, but a Sun God would draw attention wherever they went.

This wasn’t necessarily a good thing for Su Ze. He didn’t want the attention, but there was nothing he could do.

Su Ze currently needed a considerable amount of materials.

After becoming a Sun God, his skills needed upgrading again, so naturally, he required all sorts of upgrade materials.

To upgrade his current tier-eight skills to tier-nine, he needed tier-nine materials.

These high-level materials were already scarce on small Public Planets. Finding ones that were suitable for him was extremely difficult.

Additionally, Su Ze’s newly acquired “Skill Expansion” ability also required a vast amount of materials to expand his skills.

Su Ze’s main purpose in visiting these small Public Planets was to find suitable “expansion materials.”

Unlike skill upgrade materials, the materials required for Skill Expansion didn’t have strict level requirements; the most important factor was suitability.

But the required quantity was absurd. To expand a skill to the point of “Complete Integration,” it would require dozens of materials at the very least.

Furthermore, absorbing these expansion materials didn’t provide a significant boost to a skill’s level. It was very difficult to level up a skill through Skill Expansion.

Unless a skill was fully expanded and reached Complete Integration… then it might just become an Ancestral God’s skill.

Fortunately, expansion materials could also be detected by “Evolutionary Sense,” making it very easy for Su Ze to search. After visiting several Public Planets in a row, he managed to collect more than a dozen pieces.

Along the way, he also found ten stars and a hundred planets, using his “Meteor Impact” skill to compress and store them all within his body.

With that, his “Meteor Impact” skill’s Ammunition Vault was completely restocked.

This tour took him nearly two months. Afterward, Su Ze returned to Zexing and began to absorb the expansion materials he had collected.

As it turned out, absorbing over a dozen materials felt like a whole lot of nothing.

All it did was cause a few insignificant changes to some of the effects within his skills.

For example, absorbing a piece of Flame Essence Ore only boosted his Flame Resistance, which was part of the Elemental Resistance enhancement from his “Knowledge is Power” skill.

Each Genetic Enhancement strengthened Su Ze’s resistance to all elements, though it was always more heavily focused on Thunder Resistance.

Now, after the expansion, his Flame Resistance was on par with his Thunder Resistance.

To achieve Complete Integration for just this one minor effect, he would have to raise all his other elemental resistances to be on par with his Thunder and Flame Resistance.

He had no idea how many materials he’d have to absorb to achieve that.

Su Ze felt that expanding all of his “hodgepodge” skills to the point of Complete Integration would be a long and arduous journey.

The only way to speed up this process would be to frequent resource-rich places like the Public Star Realm.

He wanted to upgrade and expand his skills but was constrained by a lack of materials. He wanted to digest the Evolutionary Material but didn’t have enough Chlorophyll Capsules.

Besides practicing the “Dream Creation” skill every day, Su Ze had nothing else to do.

He was already considering heading to Blue Star ahead of schedule. He felt that with his current strength, no one could stop him unless an Ancestral God made an appearance.

Su Ze didn’t have a concrete grasp of his current combat power. He only knew he was very strong, but he wasn’t sure exactly *how* strong.

He also had no idea what the gap was between him and an Ancestral God.

His strength had increased so drastically in a short time—completing his ninth evolution, absorbing a massive amount of Origin Genes, and obtaining an Ancestral God’s skill—that he had completely lost any concept of his own power.

‘I’ll find out if I just pick a fight with someone…’

Just as Su Ze was preparing to head straight for Blue Star, Liou Wenxin suddenly sought him out.

The Pope and Mage came along as well. The three of them looked at him, their faces joyful, yet they seemed hesitant to speak.

“Good news or bad news?” Su Ze asked.

“Good news!” Mage said hurriedly. “We’ve made a huge breakthrough with the combination of the Witch Egg and the Mutant Seed. To be more precise, we’ve basically succeeded!”

“Oh? So you came to me because…?”

Ultimately, it was Liou Wenxin who spoke up. “There’s something we need you to decide. The Witch Egg isn’t mature; it’s still in the early stages of incubation. Likewise, the Mutant Seed hasn’t had its potential fully developed and can still absorb a great deal of energy. We can combine the two now, but the resulting species might only have the potential of a second or third-rate race.”
