Chapter 266: Lock Down The Entire City, I Want Them Found

After what felt like the most agonising three minutes of his life, Raiden finally reached his destination.

As soon as he reached there, He saw a girl with blood flowing down her head, surrounded by a group of policemen, an ambulance, and the fire brigade all at once.

All the public on the ground froze as suddenly they saw a big black jet appear overhead.

"Cortana, open the rear hangar; I’ll be back soon."

"Understood, master. Have a pleasant journey ahead."

Without even looking back, Raiden jumped out of the plane from a height of 100 feet with Neva and Rose clinging to his body, while Woolie jumped alongside him.

Bang!!

Within a few seconds, they hit the ground, leaving behind two small craters on the spot.

Woolie shook his body to get rid of the dust, while Raiden emerged from the crater looking completely unharmed.

In the next second, he started walking towards the stunned-looking Iris.

"Hey, you, who are you?! This is an active crime scene. Identify yourself first! Do you know this is a civil zone and private flights are forbidden in the airspace?!" Before Raiden could take any more steps, he found himself stopped in his tracks by a stern-looking police officer.

"I don’t have any time for this. Move!" Raiden practically growled at the officer in front of him.

"No can do. This is an active crime zone. Who do you think you are that you can just walk in like this, huh? Guys, surround him."

Hearing this, the police officer became even more cautious, as Raiden soon found himself surrounded by four more policemen from all sides as they looked at him with suspicion.

Just as the situation became even more tense and Woolie’s body started flickering with violet lightning, a shout rang out in the distance.

"Wait!! Please let him through. He-he is the brother of the missing girl, Sylvia!!" Iris pleaded with a sincere, yet fearful expression on her face.

Hearing this, the guys surrounding Raiden relaxed as they all turned towards the girl who spoke to him, waiting for his further directions.

"Stand down for now. As for you, I know the situation may seem serious, but please don’t panic. The police are working on it. Can you please come to the side for me??" The police guy tried to invite Raiden to his side, but from his tone, it didn’t seem like an invitation.

"Like I just said, I don’t have time for your damn games. Move the fuck away for me!!" A scythe made out of blood appeared in Raiden’s hand as he stared into the police captain’s eyes, who stared back with equal defiance.

"Woolie..." Seeing a fight was about to break out, Woolie instantly coated his whole body in violet-coloured lightning, while simultaneously activating his bloodline skill, Emperor Domination.

Instantly, everybody in a 500-metre radius found themselves under immense pressure as their legs refused to listen to them, causing all of them to bend down on their knees.

The police captain was much more capable than his subordinates, but he, too, found himself, after a few seconds, incapable of standing straight as he knelt on the ground.

"Damnit!! Do you know what you are doing?? You are assaulting an officer of the law!! No matter what the circumstances are, you won’t get away with this!" The chief shouted in defiance, but Raiden had already stopped paying attention to him as he ignored him and just kept moving forward. Anyone who got in his way right now, whether good or bad, was an enemy to him.

Raiden reached Iris, who was trembling in fear after looking at this scene, with some fresh blood flowing down her head.

"Hey Iris, relax. I’ll find something, okay?? Can you just tell me what you know?? What happened here? Where was Sylvia, and which way did they go??"

Iris just looked at the seemingly gentle Raiden in front of her, then remembered the almost scary one from before and couldn’t comprehend his sentence for a moment.

"Iris?? Iris?! IRIS?!!"

"H-Huh?!! Yeah!! Yeah, I’ll tell you everything, but can you please release those police officers, they were just trying to do their j-job...." Her voice trailed off as she looked at the scary look in Raiden’s eyes.

"If that’s what you want, fine. Woolie, let them go." Raiden spoke in an offhand tone, like he didn’t really care about them.

Free from the oppressive pressure upon their shoulders, all the officers instantly backed off at the same time and stared at Raiden, who was standing in the centre.

"I have done as you asked. Now, can you tell me more about the incident?" Raiden spoke in the calmest tone possible, but Iris had a feeling his patience was running out.

"Y-yes!! The kidnappers came from that side," Iris said, pointing towards the north.

"And they went to this side. The car that carried Sylvia also went in this direction." Iris pointed in the opposite direction, and she said this.

"Thank you, Iris. You have been very helpful to me."

Just as Raiden finished speaking, all the policemen released their terrabiotics, as did those surrounding Raiden in the centre.

"Halt!! You’ve just assaulted police officers. You are not going anywhere." The chief police officer spoke in a harsh tone as he glared at Raiden, with a tiger-looking beast by his side.

"I don’t really have much time for this. I want you to lock down their entire city, search every single CCTV camera, and find where they have taken my sister. I am the Solaris clan son-in-law." Raiden spoke in a very calm and collected manner as he stared directly into the police officer’s eyes.

Hearing his words, everybody around him burst into laughter.

"Hahaha, right!! You are the Solaris clan’s son-in-law, while I am the son of the Archon!! Hahaha!!"

"Sigh, why does nobody believe me when I tell the truth??"

Raiden pulled his phone out and started dialling a number in front of everybody else.

Seemingly sensing trouble, the police chief officer fell silent for a moment.

"Hello, Mother-in-law, it’s me. I need your help. Sylvia has been kidnapped. I want you to lock down the entire city and help me search for her. There is a police officer standing in front of me. You can talk to him yourself."

Raiden passed his phone to the now-sweating man in front of him, who took it with shaking hands.

"H-Hello??"

"Do as the voice says. I want the entire city locked down within a minute. It’s an order." An extremely cold and dominating female voice rang out in his ears, causing him to freeze in place.

Hearing that extremely familiar voice in his ears, he was left with only one single thought.
