The two Werewolves didn’t know what had happened to the girls in the maid outfits, but for some reason, both of them appeared scarier than before.

This made them take the fight seriously.

One’s spear glowed with a red light as its runes lit up. She crouched a little and dashed, choosing to attack first.

Behind her, the other Werewolf pulled out some seeds and threw them onto the ground while chanting. The seeds took root, and vines rapidly grew out. Some of them coiled around her, but most of them followed her companion.

The spear reached Lilith, closely followed by the vines.

Just as the spear made contact with her, Lilith burst into black ink and fell onto the spear-wielding Werewolf and her vines.

The Werewolf realized she had fallen for a trap. Already covered in ink, she looked ahead and saw another Lilith standing on a black root, watching her with a cold expression.

Her partner noticed it too and raised her hand to cast a quick healing spell, but it was already too late.

Her vines that came into the Black Inks contact had their mana sucked dry.

She then pulled out a wooden wand to cast a better healing spell, but suddenly she heard a voice close to her ear.

"So you can heal? Master will love to eat you," Eve said.

She appeared beside the Werewolf and punched. Nanobots covered in purplish-blue lightning surrounded her in the form of a barrier, making her look literally like a constellation.

Boom!

The plant-wielding Werewolf flew back as if a truck had hit her. She had only taken light injuries because she managed to use her wand to block the attack at the last minute.

She was confused as to why she and her companion had failed to spot such an obvious target and let her get so close.

The spear-wielding Werewolf looked back, seeing her companion fly away from an attack by the other maid. She also asked herself why she had ignored the maid.

Sizzle, sizzle.

But before she could think more about it, black smoke began releasing from the black ink in contact with her skin. She frowned when she felt no pain.

But the next moment, she felt dread when she realized her mana was being absorbed by the black ink.

As the mana was absorbed, the black ink expanded.

Moonlight glowed from her body as she tried to purge the black ink, but to her terror, even that was absorbed by it. She realized the only way to get rid of it was to kill the owner of the skill.

She looked at Lilith with murderous eyes. Her spear shone once again as she lunged for Lilith, and at the same time, she pulled out a red ball and crushed it.

She swung her spear at Lilith, while enough blood to fill a river was released from the ball.

Lilith dodged the spear this time, but she was hit by a wave of blood that followed the Werewolf. Not just her, everyone on the battlefield suffered the same fate.

A huge wave of blood threatened to flood the place, Razen cursed as he protected himself, while Rango, who was fighting him, jumped up into the sky to dodge the blood.

Rango looked at the source and saw who it was.

He pupils constricted as he realised the culprit was one of the rare Vampire-Werewolf hybrids. How had someone like that appeared here was shocking to him, back home people like her were rarer than even Immortals.

He saw the Werewolf use the blood to wash away some form of black ink stuck to her. Glancing around, he saw Argus and his clanmates standing on a rock pillar, while others had used their own tricks to dodge the wave.

No one wanted to bet on their luck that the blood wouldn’t be harmful, so it was better safe than sorry.

Eve, too, used her nanobots to create a flying surfboard, taking to the skies to dodge it. Unfortunately for her opponent, the plant-wielding Werewolf wasn’t as lucky and got swept away by the blood wave.

She looked toward where Lilith was previously with worry. Seeing the blood corrode everything it came into contact with made her anxious.

This attack was not only harmful to them but also to the Werewolves. After all, blood was the aspect of their nemesis, the Vampires.

When the spear-wielding Werewolf used it, she must have known what it would do, yet she still used it to save herself anyway.

Vance looked at the blood that was corroding the sealing array. His cold expression cracked as he cursed, "Shit! This thing will destroy the array in less than a minute."

Victor chuckled. "Isn’t this better, my Prince? Blood doesn’t weaken us. When we survive, we’d better thank the hybrid before killing her for being useful."

Hybrids were not looked upon favorably in their world. Because of the bitter rivalry between Vampires and Werewolves, they were often hunted down or received worse than slave treatment.

So seeing one here was a surprise for everyone.

Night saw this and wanted to finish the culprit off, but the wierd man blocked him with smug look on his face. He wanted to help his friends, but he was attacked by the chains.

He could only hope his friends were all right and that his clone would keep them safe.

In the sky, Rango looked at the blood that covered the top of the mountain. He saw that Night and the man weilding chains hadn’t dodged and were swept away as well.

Rango made the first move. He howled, and grey clouds formed above the mountain. Rango muttered, "Tribulation."

A huge beam of lightning was released from the clouds, striking the blood wave.

It was not only him. Beside him, Argus and his four clanmates used their Earth aspect to isolate the blood, channeling it to flow down the side of the mountain.

Sage, Nuwa, Dolly, Death, Lucy, and Zero, who had dodged the attack as well, released attacks of their own to save Lilith.

Meanwhile, Night’s three clones used this opportunity to finish off their opponents, making use of the distraction. Even the clone that had been hiding took out one Werewolf using a sneak attack.

The blood washed over Night’s clone, but it couldn’t corrode him once he covered his body with Nightmare Mist.

He anxiously looked at where Lilith was previously and only relaxed when he saw she was fine.

Boom!

Their combined attacks hit the blood wave, blowing a huge part of it away. The main contributor to this cleansing was the Nightmare Origin Tree, which greedily absorbed the blood like it was a tonic.

The tree even grew a lot of brown leaves as this happened.

The spear-wielding Werewolf used her Blood aspect to manipulate the blood to cleanse herself, but the result was far from good.

The Black Ink seemed completely stuck to her, and it even managed to absorb some of the corrosive blood.

She was getting desperate now, realizing the Black Ink might suck her dry the moment the surrounding blood was gone. She didn’t even bother chasing after Lilith.

Step. Step. Step.

She looked at Lilith, who was walking towards her while a dome of semi-transparent Black Ink covered her.

It was the same ink that was absorbing the Werewolf’s mana.

She couldn’t help but ask, "What is this Black Ink?" She had never seen anything like it.

Lilith gave her a cold smile. Her blue eyes were now pitch-black, matching the exact color of the ink.

"This Black Ink was born out of the union between my Darkness aspect and my Master’s Nightmare Mist," she said proudly. "They call it the Nightmare Desolation. It has the same color as the Master’s Nightmare Domain he had before."

The spear-wielding Werewolf was about to say something, but she suddenly felt her legs weaken, dropping to her knees.

She looked down, only to realize that while she had been listening to Lilith to buy time, the maid was also spreading the Nightmare Desolation from below the ground. The ink had bound her legs and was now draining her mana at a ridiculous pace.

Knowing the situation was too far gone, she gave a command with a determined look on her face.

"Blood Burn."

As she said this, all the Werewolves except Razen lost control of their bodies and fell down into the blood.

"Aaaahhhh, I am burning..."

"Nooo, my body is melting..."

"You hybrid traitor...!"

"Curse you, filthy mongrel...!"

As they fell, they screamed, each of them feeling their bodies corroding. It seemed the spear-wielding Werewolf had somehow marked them beforehand and triggered it just now.

And the purpose?

The moment their bodies hit the blood, vitality drained out of them and flowed straight into the spear-wielding Werewolf. For the first time, the Black Ink covering her failed to absorb her mana.

Razen tried to stop it, but Rango blocked him, figuring that one strong opponent was better than facing all of them.

After all, who knew if someone else had a trump card similar to the blood released by the spear-wielding Werewolf?

Slowly, as the other Werewolves died, the spear-wielding Werewolf’s aura grew until it broke through the mortal realm suppression of the planet.

Not even Razen, Rango, or the man facing Night had managed to do that.

Slowly, the Black Ink on her body was washed away. The spear-wielding Werewolf sighed in relief. She looked at Lilith, who had backed away after sensing her new rank, and sneered.

"You forced me to reveal myself so soon. You will have to pay for it with your life. But don’t worry, I will bury everyone here with you, so you won’t feel lonely."
