The beastmen’s wavering gazes hardened once more at her words.

Jin Wei shot Qiao Xixi a venomous glare and sneered, "Then why don’t you ask Jin Ling if he regrets becoming what he is today!"

Jin Ling hadn’t said a word, but Qiao Xixi, who was sitting on his back, could feel his body tense with rage.

Qiao Xixi gently stroked his head, soothing him in a low voice. "Jin Ling, it’s time to settle the score between you two."

Jin Ling tilted his head up slightly, nuzzling Qiao Xixi’s hand. His gentle tiger eyes turned glacial the moment they fell upon Jin Wei.

After Qiao Xixi dismounted, Jin Ling began to walk toward Jin Wei.

Even though Jin Wei was still seated high atop his elephant beast, surrounded by high-ranking beast soldiers, he couldn’t stop a deep-seated fear from rising in his heart as he watched Jin Ling approach, one step at a time.

Jin Ling’s gilded tiger eyes rested heavily on Jin Wei.

He walked forward slowly. "The Jin Ling you speak of died in a nameless cave two winters ago. The Jin Ling standing before you now was nurtured in my master’s heart."

"That Jin Ling was a tool for your ambition from the moment he was born. You ignored his pleas, ignored his tears, and poured unknown potions into his body. You watched him struggle in agony, watched him suffer a fate worse than death!"

"You never cared at all! Because if one Jin Ling died, you would just create more. You ask if I have regrets? Of course I don’t regret becoming stronger. My only regret is that I didn’t come back and kill you the moment I did!"

Jin Ling stopped, let out a tiger’s roar, and suddenly leaped high into the air, pouncing on Jin Wei.

A look of terror appeared on Jin Wei’s face, and his body recoiled uncontrollably.

"Stop him! Stop him for me!"

The beast soldiers snapped to their senses and charged forward with a roar.

The beastmen of Beast King City never thought Jin Wei would show such blatant disregard for their lives.

In an instant, the two sides erupted into a fierce battle.

They were fighting right at the city gate, and many of the beastmen inside the city had also heard Jin Wei’s words just now. After the shock came a wave of fury.

Just then, a male from the Tiger Clan with long, golden hair stepped to the front of the crowd. He glared furiously in Jin Wei’s direction and shouted.

"Kill Jin Wei!"

Hearing the furious roars, Jin Wei’s eyes turned completely bloodshot. "Go! Release all of my darlings! Everyone who defies me must die!"

Some of the beast soldiers who had charged out of Tiger Beast City were Jin Wei’s trusted cronies and knew of his evil deeds.

Most, however, knew nothing. Now, having heard what Jin Wei said, they were no longer willing to obey his orders. Some who wanted to resist Jin Wei even stepped forward to block his cronies.

"You people knew the City Lord was committing these atrocities, yet you said nothing! How are you any different from him?"

The soldiers were fighting with bloodshot eyes. "I just wanted to become stronger! What did I do wrong?!"

Before Jin Wei completely lost control, Qiao Xixi had Xijing and the others escort the females and cubs to a safe area.

Their families also automatically formed a protective circle around them.

More and more beastmen joined the chaotic battle. As if to match the atmosphere of the fierce slaughter, the golden light in the once-clear sky was gradually shrouded by dark clouds, casting a dim shadow over the world.

"Run! They’re coming this way!"

When Qiao Yi and the others saw the colossal creatures heading toward Qiao Xixi’s group, they immediately beat back the beast soldiers in front of them and ran over.

Qiao Xixi hadn’t expected Jin Wei to have raised so many of these behemoths!

"Xixi, get out of the way!"

Qiao Xixi pinched her fingers together. "Wind, rise."

A powerful gust of wind blew toward the Four Non-Beings. While they were temporarily held back by the blast, she led the beastmen behind her toward the city gate.

Jin Wei stared icily in Qiao Xixi’s direction.

"Seize that female."

The beast soldiers received the order and turned to charge at Qiao Xixi.

Qiao Xixi immediately said to the beastmen behind her, "Take them into the city. Quickly."

Zhenzhen gave Qiao Xixi a worried look before being forcefully pulled away by her father.

As the beast soldiers approached, Qiao Xixi threw the Bubble Fruits in her hand.

The beast soldiers were forced to retreat again and again.

The sky grew darker and darker. Qiao Xixi used the wind to rise into the air and looked toward Qiao Yi, who was surrounded by the Four Non-Beings.

Sunxuan had already joined Qiao Yi to help, but they couldn’t withstand the sheer number of Four Non-Beings.

Sitting on his elephant beast, Jin Wei watched the battle gradually turn in his favor, a satisfied sneer spreading across his face.

"It took me many years to raise these darlings! Not even Mutant Beasts are their match. Qiao Yi, so what if you’re powerful? Can you kill all of my darlings? HAHAHAHA!"

Sunxuan had just swept away a Three Unlikes with his long tail when several more Four Non-Beings charged over.

A trace of impatience appeared in his usually indifferent eyes.

"These damn things are more annoying than monsters."

Qiao Yi suddenly transformed into his beast form and leaped onto a Four Non-Being.

His fur was long and fluffy, like silk saturated with moonlight, draping from his spine down to his flanks. His entire body was a brilliant white without a single speck of another color. Even as the surroundings grew dim, he stood there like a flowing river of light.

His sharp claws suddenly transformed into a sharp blade that stabbed viciously into the throat of the Four Non-Being.

As he withdrew his claws, another Four Non-Being had already leaped above Qiao Yi, smashing down heavily upon him.
