Chapter 1021: Chapter 1021: Spirit Whip

Chen Rui’s face immediately turned grim upon hearing this.

He looked with disgust towards the pigsty, where those two were trapped in burlap sacks within a foul-smelling environment, making him feel utterly sick.

Frowning, he slightly twitched his nose, as if the repugnant odor couldn’t be dispelled from his nostrils.

"Bring them out?" Chen Rui said with great disdain on his face and in his voice, "Are you crazy? You want me to touch them myself? Look at their current state, they stink like hell, utterly disgusting!"

His gaze towards the pigsty was filled with revulsion, as if those two were the filthiest things in the world.

He was evidently uninterested in getting his hands dirty and wanted to stay as far away from those two as possible.

Seeing this, Ye Qingchen immediately realized Chen Rui’s reluctance to get involved. He quickly continued to incite: "Oh, sir, they not only insulted you, but also the entire Chen Family! And they even said... that you will forever be beneath Saint Son Jiang, and the Chen Family will always be second. They claimed no matter how hard the Chen Family tries, it can’t surpass the Jiang Ancient Clan!"

He deliberately emphasized his tone, each word a taunt piercing through Chen Rui’s sore spot.

Indeed, Chen Rui’s expression instantly became even darker, and a raging fire ignited in his eyes.

Already discontented with Saint Son Jiang, he could not endure anyone saying such things to his face.

Ye Qingchen’s words undeniably struck his weakness, igniting his fury to its peak.

"What! They actually dared to say that!" Chen Rui roared, his voice filled with boundless anger and hatred. His entire body trembled, his face ashen, teeth gritted loudly, seemingly ready to tear those two apart at any moment.

"No, I can’t swallow this insult!" Chen Rui said, unable to restrain his anger, face full of hate and resentment, "Since they are so arrogant, let me teach them a lesson and see how long their arrogance lasts!"

Despite his harsh words, he still looked scornfully at the pigsty, clearly unwilling to beat them himself. Anger and disgust interlaced on his face, and although unwilling to touch those two, Ye Qingchen’s words fanned his fury, making him crave revenge.

Chen Rui pondered for a moment, his rage growing limitless, eyes nearly shooting flames. He no longer cared about the stench and filth, roaring: "Since they dared to say that, bring them out for me! I want to teach them a harsh lesson! Let them know the consequences of offending Chen Rui!"

His voice was filled with anger, fists clenched tightly, veins bulging, seemingly ready to tear those two alive.

Always narrow-minded, he couldn’t tolerate any disrespect, now, incited by Ye Qingchen’s few words, he couldn’t care about the filth anymore, wanting nothing but to personally torment those two harshly.

He glared at the pigsty, eyes filled with hate and revenge, feet nearly stepping forward, completely blinded by fury.

Like an enraged beast, he seemed eager to tear the prey before him to shreds, to vent his hatred.

"Bring them out for me!" he roared again, his voice nearly tearing through the air, his body slightly trembling with fury, "I want to teach them a lesson personally!"

Ye Qingchen smiled slightly, secretly pleased, but his face remained humble.

He used his Spiritual Power, gently lifting, and drew Old Liu and Da Hei – both bagged in the pigsty – out.

The two were now suppressed by Spiritual Power, unable to move, devoid of resistance, only able to helplessly struggle in the sack, making faint whimpering sounds.

Old Liu and Da Hei’s faces were filled with despair, desperately wanting to shout, but their mouths were firmly blocked, unable to make any sound.

Fear filled their hearts, unable to imagine the impending torture, only sensing the breath of death approaching step by step in the darkness.

Their struggling bodies trembled slightly in the sack, yet no amount of effort could break free from the Spiritual Power’s bind.

Ye Qingchen looked at their futile resistance, sneering inwardly, then casually threw them in front of Chen Rui.

The two were harshly dropped to the ground, emitting a dull thud, painfully curling their bodies.

Seeing this, Chen Rui’s face showed a sinister smile, as if appreciating a bloody drama about to unfold.

"Someone!" Chen Rui’s voice carried cold anger, he commanded without hesitation, "Go to the ancestral hall, bring me the Spirit Whip! I want these two oblivious fools to taste misery worse than death!"

His gaze was cold and brutal, seemingly already rehearsed in his mind how he would use the Spirit Whip to torment them.

The servants, hearing his command, responded respectfully and quickly ran to the ancestral hall to retrieve the Spirit Whip specifically used to punish wrongdoers.

Chen Rui looked at the two helplessly struggling "criminals", his expression increasingly fierce, as if once the Spirit Whip was in hand, he could unleash his fury onto them immediately.

Soon, the servants brought the Spirit Whip over.

Its whole body was jet black, emitting a faint glow, covered with ancient inscriptions and symbols, seemingly containing some powerful force.

The whip’s body seemed alive, slightly vibrating, a deadly aura permeating the air, chilling to the bone.

A scarlet Spirit Stone embedded in the whip handle emitted a fiery glow, as if ready to unleash world-destroying power at any moment.

The whip end had several sharp silver spikes gleaming coldly, seemingly able to rip enemies to shreds with just a flick.

This Spirit Whip was not only powerful but specifically used to punish cultivators who committed grave errors; once struck, it not only inflicted unbearable physical pain but also dealt severe spiritual shock.

Chen Rui took the Spirit Whip, a cruel smile flickered in his eyes.

He flicked his wrist gently, and the Spirit Whip issued a thunderous sound, like the roar of a thunder god, shaking the air around.

The sound was like heaven and earth crumbling, servants instinctively stepped back, watching Chen Rui’s Spirit Whip fearfully, afraid the next moment would affect themselves.

Bound Old Liu and Da Hei were ashen upon hearing the thunderous whip sound, their fear reaching its peak.

Their bodies trembled uncontrollably, sweat pouring down, already sensing the approaching torture.

They closed their eyes tightly, desperately trying to shrink their presence, yet understood inwardly, no resistance could escape such pain.
