Chapter 634 - 633: Disrespecting One’s Elders
Chapter 634: Chapter 633: Disrespecting One’s Elders
"No, it has nothing to do with the Grant Family."
Upon hearing that it had nothing to do with the Grant Family, South Grant was a bit surprised.
"Then who is it?"
Stella Foster didn’t answer, and South Grant was a bit anxious, "Mom, what exactly happened back then? And about the treasure map, I’ve already found out everything. What on earth happened?"
At this moment, Nathan Foster entered the room. He looked at Stella Foster, not knowing how to address her.
Stella Foster looked at him and then smiled.
"Nathan, I remember when I left, you were only this tall. In the blink of an eye, more than ten years have passed."
"...Sister, you haven’t changed at all."
South Grant coughed twice when he heard Nathan Foster call her sister, and Nathan Foster felt awkward at this moment.
Stella Foster didn’t understand and looked at the two of them, finding it strange.
"What’s wrong with you two?"
"Nothing, nothing..." South Grant said.
Nathan Foster stopped being tangled up with family rankings and started talking about other things.
"Sister, South has already learned that her father is one of the Osbornes. What exactly happened back then in the Osborne Family?"
Stella Foster lowered her head, not wanting to bring it up.
Seeing this, South Grant didn’t ask anymore.
"Mom, how about coming back with us?"
Stella Foster shook her head.
South Grant immediately said, "Mom, you worry about Dad being lonely here all by himself, but aren’t you afraid that Dad will worry about you being here alone with no one to care for you? Otherwise, she will not rest in peace."
Even though South Grant said this, Stella Foster still shook her head, not agreeing to go back with South Grant.
At this point, Nathan Foster said:
"You’re afraid that if you go out, the Osbornes will find you, right? You hide here, and don’t even go down the mountain to see them, not because you want to stay with South’s father, but because you are afraid of being discovered by the Osbornes, right?"
Stella Foster looked up at him in surprise.
"What do you know?" Stella Foster stared intently at Nathan Foster.
"I don’t know anything, but I know that South’s father changed his identity to avoid the Osbornes." Nathan Foster said calmly, looking at Stella Foster with a complex expression in his eyes. He continued, "Now that the treasure matter has come up again, since we have found you, I’m sure others will soon find you as well. Come back with us, trust me, I have the means to protect you and South."
South Grant still wanted to ask something, but Nathan Foster gave her a look.
South Grant didn’t say anything else. After a long while, Stella Foster looked up and said to Nathan Foster:
"Okay, I’ll go back with you. I’ll pack up my things, and we’ll leave shortly."
South Grant didn’t expect Nathan Foster’s words to be so effective. She now had to help Stella Foster pack, but Stella Foster smiled and told them to wait in the courtyard.
While South Grant and Nathan Foster stood in the courtyard, South Grant thought back to the scene just now and leaned closer to Nathan Foster, whispering:
"Where do you plan to have my mom stay?"
"She’ll stay with us."
"That’s fine, but you’re not allowed to stay there."
"Why?"
"Considering our current relationship and family hierarchy, do you think I want to lose face with you sneaking into my room every night?"
Nathan Foster burst out laughing. Just then, Stella Foster came out and asked Nathan Foster:
"South, what were you saying to your uncle to make him so happy?"
South Grant pouted and replied with a bit of annoyance:
"Said he’s not acting his age."
Stella Foster laughed, "Speaking of which, your uncle is only a few years older than you; you two are practically the same age group."
